never come here, horrible customer service. i went inside and there was already someone complaining. that should've been first red flag. i sat down and asked them to take my acrylic off which i only had 2. he said no. i then ask to try pink but didnt like it so changed to white she didn't remove the pink but colored white ontop and its see through and uneven. i pay and leave and the color completely peels off. i go back and ask the lady to remove everything and give me a refund and she said no. i told her i wasn't happy and i need a refund. she said no and all the customers stood up for me and told her to give me a refund. and two new clients left their chair and said they're not doing it and walked out. and i told the lady either give me a refund or im posting this online. and she threw cash at me as a refund. read more

I had a mani-pedi at this nail salon while visiting from Maryland and had an excellent experience! I picked One Day Nail and Spa based on their many positive Yelp reviews and my nails look great! The couple who own the salon, Pam and Lee, were friendly and attentive. Pam did my manicure and Lee did my pedicure, and they made the treatment relaxing and enjoyable. It had been a while since I had my nails done and they were very gentle removing my dead skin and callouses with no nicks or pain. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a great selection of polish and dip colors. I especially like that I was able to be seen quickly as a walk-in mid-afternoon on a Wednesday, but the salon had a steady stream of customers. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely go here again when in town for my quarterly trips to Tucson! read more

I went to this salon based on all the great reviews but I think they must have been having an "off" day, as everyone does once in a while. Although I wasn't super happy with my nails, they rectified the situation and refunded my money. Ben and Kay were amazing! I had a new TAP gel mani (had never heard of it!) and a paraffin wax pedi with gel polish - both were definitely worth the cost, which I feel is comparable to other places I've been. The music was low and it was pretty empty until after noon, overall a relaxing environment. I live far SE Tucson, but will definitely be returning here for sure! read more

amazing nail place!!! i haven't had my nails done since high school, and yesterday i decided on a whim to go get my nails done fancy. i was a walk-in and got taken care of immediately, they were very friendly and the interior and tools were very clean. my nail artist Kay was super sweet, and understanding of what kind of art/style i was wanting. she made sure the length and shape were to my liking, and spent a lot of time making sure every detail was perfect with no flaws or imperfections, which i LOVE and very much appreciate!! i hate going home and discovering bumps and gaps that were missed as a result of them going too fast, but here she made sure everything was perfect before i left! the prices are very fair, and they even have spa treatments and masks and such. i will most definitely be returning for my fills, and encouraging others to go as well!! read more

I waited about an hour and a half for service at another nail salon and so I started googling because I couldn't sit there all day and I came across One Day Nail and Spa, called and they could get me in right away. I got there and everyone seemed friendly and kind and I got a pedicure right away. My nailed looked great and the foot massage was spot on. I would recommend. Kay who did my nails did a great job as usual, but a guy did my pedicure and cut my toe and it began to bleed. I told him not to dig so deep but he just smiled, so I don't think he even understands english. My toe was so sore I couldn't ware shoes for 3 day's. He never apologized and then wanted a tip after he damaged my toe. read more

Bad service, rude lady that seemed like she was the manager. Unclean place. Flies everywhere. Mold behind the chairs. Giving 2 stars for the girl that did my toes since she was sweet. Had an appointment to do gel manicure as well but after the lack of professionalism and how dirty the place was when you actually paid attention, I did not do my hands. And saw how they did my friends gel manicure who was with me, I did not like their work. I don't understand how this place has good reviews. Will not be back. read more

I came here on a great recommendation. The place was pretty light for a Saturday afternoon but I was seated quickly. I got an organic pedicure but I didn't love my experience. I had informed the pedicurist that she was hurting my toe and while she was apologetic she was still hurting me. I could not find a color I loved and chose to go with a clear coat but I felt like the pedicurist was pushing color despite my protest. And during the hot rocks massage we had to stop twice to cool the rocks because they were too hot. On a better note, The timeliness for service was great and the service was quality but I wish there were more people working. I did notice some people left due to the long wait while others were able to get their service started right away if they happened to show up towards the end of someone else's service. The overall experience was decent. I did enjoy the 80s background music playing, it did get a cool throwback vibe. I'd like to try this place again to see if I have a better experience. read more

They did an excellent job on my nails. I did the volcano pedicure which was amazing. I loved that the pedicure included a hot stone massage. I also did a dip nail manicure. The nail color was very unique and hadn't seen a lot of other places with it. I also did an eyebrow wax. She was gentle and they looked great after. read more

I have been going to this Salon for 5 years. They do a great job, it's clean and they use and know about the latest products. However, I will not be going back. They over book. Many times even though you have an appoint you have to wait, or as people come in they rush. I arrived shortly after calling and immediately they had me sit down and had one person doing my pedicure while having another do my manicure. While on my vacation, I got a deluxe pedicure done by Ben. He has a very light touch and is very precise in color application. I watched Kathy give a Deluxe pedicure to the gal next to me and she seemed to have a more firm touch on the massage. So depending on personal preference Ben and Kathy are good. My mom, however, said her esthetician kept trying to sell her every product that was used on her, which took away from the experience and made it hard for her to unwind. Overall, the facial services seem strong, but the wellness add-ons and overall hospitality felt unpolished and inconsistent. I hope they can bring back the attention to detail and hospitality they had when they first opened, because the space and potential are definitely there.

My husband and I are huge fans of the Japanese onsen, but it's really hard to come by places that offer a nice hot soak. Healing Spirit Soaks was a great experience for us. When we arrived for our reserved time, Brandi showed us the salt scrub tub, sauna, two hot soaking tubs, two cold plunges, and biomat. Shoes are not worn inside, so you can remove your socks and shoes in the changing area - there are also slippers, robes, and towels provided for you. Brandi also offers you a nice herbal tea or water. If you're not familiar with the whole soaking experience, Brandi will walk you through the steps of sauna first, salt scrub and rinse, then hot soak and cold plunge. This visit was extremely relaxing and tranquil, and it went by too fast. I was really sad to have to leave, but I'm definitely going to purchase a membership.
