Very poor service. They over charge you for everything by five dollars. When I was just there with my group getting manicures we got the dip nail and it instantly started cracking when we left. I went back so they would fix it and they wouldn't and told me I had to pay and that it was my fault. My nail wasn't even broken it was in perfect condition with cracked nail polish. So poor service bad customer service would never recommend to go here and won't go back and they also don't seem to care about that service either. read more

Not 2 toenails even close to same length, filing was non existent Xtra cost massage and hot stones a total disappointment couldn't tell the dude was actually touching let alone massaging acrylic was gloppy added acetone or ? Something to it must have been last year's! Remove it start again. No UV dryer, misshaped nails. An hour and 35 minutes later finally said it's fine and got out of there! Friendly, kind workers, and clean atmosphere but they are very bad at nails. I asked for acrylic coffin shape and they were just bad. They looked messy, bulky, and bubbly, even the color was completely off. I asked if they could do a marble design on one nail (like they have in their photos posted to yelp) they promised they could... well they couldn't like not even a little bit it looked like a Pinterest diy fail so I had them take it off. After I showed I was dissatisfied they offered to fix them but it wasn't much better. My pedi was also messy and uneven. I won't return. I believe that the nails they have posted on yelp are just some stock photos that they did not personally do. read more

Still love this place. They get the job done. Some places may spend more time on massage, etc., but the folks here do a great job for a good price. I got my first manicure this last visit and the guy was definitely a perfectionist. A couple weeks and my nails still look like new. No gel on pedicures, but when I got a mani-pedi with gel nails, he topped off my toes with the coating when he was done with my fingers. They've lasted through a trip to the beach in San Diego with nary a scuff. I've brought my mom and my friend here on separate occasion and they were both pleased, though perhaps my mom is more for the finer spa experience with long massages and all the perks. Update: I recieved a call from them after my initial review asking if I would like to come in to have my nails redone. They were very professional and friendly. I feel that the nail shape and edges of the polish are much better than before. The tips of my nails are also now wrapped with nail polish and I think that this will prevent the chipping that I had previously experienced! Much better and I appreciate the call very much. I love this place!!!! I've been going here for 8 years! They're the only place I've ever found to take their time and make sure you're happy when you leave! They love what they do and it shows by how they are particular with the quality of their work! The polish always last me a good 3 weeks! A guy walked into today wanting to use their phone and then saw a candy bar on the counter which he asked if he could have it; he didn't seem well off. She told him to take it and then went to the back and found other snacks and gave it to him. I've never seen such nice people especially Kim the owner. after 14 yrs in NYC, i'm still hunting for the 16$ mani/pedi in tucson. Alas. i dropped by Nail Time on a whim, and was a bit crest fallen to learn the basic pedicure cost 20$. It seems the standard for local salons, so i chose a color and plopped down in one of the fancy new massage chairs. So glad i did. the place is pristine and the technician set to work immediately. she did a fantastic job, even adding medicinal oils to the lotion that tingled and soothed my tumamoc worn legs. the atmosphere, competency and cleanliness of the place makes this the best southwestern nail salon I've encountered thus far. She soaked my nails in cold water for less than a minute and in the middle of her doing my nails a customer walks in and she stops doing my nails and begins working on the new customer. Minutes later, I was then switched to another technician that cut my nails way too short without asking and didn't cut any of my cuticles. I decided to go elsewhere at this point and was still charged, and my nails were left undone. Do not recommend this place. read more

I wanted the coffin shaped nails but they wanted to charge an extra 5$ for it. Instead I got the regular shape. No customers when I walked in should've been enough of a sign. I rarely post but when I do it's either because it's been amazing or terrible. This was terrible. I suppose the only thing that would've made this pedicure worse is if the paint job was not smooth. The woman cut my nails WAY too short to the point of pain. I've had many pedicures in my life but none have ever cut the nails so low - they look ridiculous AND hurt. As she cut into and then ripped my nails off - and I'm not joking or exaggerating about this - I had to stop her and tell her how to fix the situation. I could go on in details but my general point is that it's like she's never been trained to cut nails. To make it worse, tools are used over and over - most places I've been have individually packaged clippers etc. Not here. Further, there was what appeared to be blood on her gloves. I'm not sure if it was mine or what. Are you kidding me? My manicure was barely better. I asked for the nails to be cut a little shorter and even pointed to one that was roughly the length I wanted. They all got cut to just about the shortest they could be. This is one of those moments the user wonders how others rated the place so well. Granted my issue is with one person. But still. The guy held my hand for at least 5 minutes but felt like forever while speaking to a co worker the whole time until I signaled that this was inappropriate and wasting my time. That docked one star. Well when he was done, I noticed airbubbles in my Nails.. not pretty.. one more star docked. Then I noticed he didn't even buff my nails after he used the machine file thing. I ended up with too round Nails with air bubbles and lines you can see since there was no buffing. Needless to say, I won't be back. If I could give them a zero star I would. I went in for a simple French tip mani/ pedi for a wedding and they talked me into the powdered nails with a plastic tip because they said my nails weren't long enough. I was there for almost two hours because they don't have the proper equipment for false nails and left bubbles in the acrylic. They said that a gel top would fix it but now I am stuck with nails that weren't even properly adhesived so there are gaps between the natural and fake nail and I am out $150. Kim did a good job... despite that she did originally originally do my full set. I came in there so that she can fix my nail that broke. Which was my middle finger. She did a good job on that trying to make it look like the others. The only thing I did not like was the fact that I was trying to talk to her while she was doing my nails and she was talking to her other employees in her language. I used to like this place even though they are not very friendly. They are clean that's about all I can give them at this point. I loved the tee tree oil treatment however when I went the last time they cut my toenails they cut me up bad. So bad on my big toe it took forever to heal. They also rush through the pedis... I recently removed my acrylic nails so I got gel on my natural nails to recover from that, the man who did my nails did an amazing job, the massage was really good and my hands and arms felt so rested after, but when it came to the pedicure one of the ladies did it for me and she did not put much effort to it, almost as if she were in a hurry, I was disappointed by that, definitely was not worth the $37, other than that everyone was very nice, and it was a clean environment read more
