i wanted to share about my experience with Campbell Drive Urgent Care. I've been to CDUC in many occasions. I have never had nothing but kind words for the Dr.'s - they have always been attentive and provided great care. My experience with the office staff has also always been adequate. HOWEVER, there seems to have been a shift at the front desk. When I called, the first thing I noticed was a bubbly voice in the phone- not usually my experience at Dr. offices. Then, as i proceeded with my issue this young lady was not only friendly and accommodating, she was competent! DIANA!!! Thank you very much for mot only working with me, but for seeing it through to fruition! I appreciate you, Dr. Mittapalli and the care , concern and efforts that they had for my situation. let me be clear- again, I have never had a bad experience with anyone at the front desk! If I could give zero stars, I would. Campbell Urgent Care has been one of the most disappointing healthcare experiences I've ever dealt with. Three years after a simple visit, they suddenly attempted to invoice me for a balance I was never notified about. I reached out multiple times for clarification, and the account manager, Michelle Gusberti, consistently avoided answering direct questions. Instead of helping resolve the issue or explaining why a bill was appearing nearly three years later, she insisted I owed it -- despite the clinic only sending one statement that I never received. The clinic itself feels outdated, and the staff gives off an uncaring, "you're just a number" vibe. Nothing about the environment or the service suggests professionalism or patient-centered care. With so many better urgent care options in the area, I genuinely don't understand how this place is still operating the way it does. Listen. The doctors are good, if not great, at least decent. Nurses too. However, I'm never coming here again. I showed up with 1 person in the lobby with me. They took 20 minutes to take both of us back to the room. All my insurance and info is already on file. 1 other patient arrived after us. So a total of 3 people I've seen maybe 4 if you wanna give the benefit of the doubt.. IVE BEEN HERE FOR 2.5 HOURS..... I literally just have a stuffy nose and need to be tested and given medicine. Excellent Quality care. Dr Geeta Rajpal was very kind and very caring to my husband 84 years old. She acts quickly with his patients. I think that in the last five years of living in Homestead, I've visited urgent care may be five times. Every single time it's been good service, straightforward, billing, wait time between two to about three hours at most. I can honestly say that I am very happy with this urgent care. They've always been able to get me what I needed and even if you don't have insurance, I actually lapsed on my insurance due to employment reasons and 165 is what the cost was without insurance. There was no additional cost after that. That's actually really good so I'm very happy and honestly really thankful that I have this location close by. I highly recommend. I have been to Campbell urgent care about three times in the last three years, twice because I was sick, once because I brought a coworker of mine visiting from Arizona who was sick. Every time I have come here the service was excellent and quickly given. This last time I came a few weeks ago because I was feeling absolutely terrible. I had been feeling bad for three days and I was only getting and feeling worse by the moment. I came in... paid for my services and I was in with my temperature being taken within 15 minutes. The doctor then came in to see me 10 minutes after that... asked some questions and had some tests done and I was told I had acute bronchitis, fever, as well as infections in my ears and throat... yikes! She prescribed the medicine I needed and then had some antibiotics given to me immediately thru injection to get my started on getting better. And then I was out. Great service...quick and efficient. Although I hope never to have to come back (because who wants to be sick?), if I do get sick I will come back. read more

This place used to be okay. But whatever happened , had turned this place into a dump. The staff is negligent. It takes months to get important X-ray results and when investigated the staff did not even reach out to diagnostics its ridiculous and they tell you , we will call you. Do not trust these people with your health. And then you go to the Office and they want you to wait even longer. I wish I could provide a "no star" review. I went to this place on Friday, August 11, and the first question was - do you have the tools to do stiches here for a bad wound? and they said yes. Then, once we went inside the doctor said "No, you should go to the hospital because it is a deep wound. We left worried. We had paid $165 and asked for a refund, which they replied no sorry. Once at the hospital ER, the doctor said that they didn't do it at the urgent care because they didn't want to do it because it wasn't that bad. Long story short - they got paid for a service they didn't provide, and that's call "unethical practices". read more

When other primary medical doctors have locked their doors in Homestead; Cambpell Urgent Care stays open and risks themselves and their families to treat us. I have Covid 19 but I was still treated warmly and kindly. Mrs. Dr. Campbell and her staff were very sweet to me and everyone in the waiting room. When I arrived the staff were extra sanitizing and making sure that the office and waiting room were clean and nice. They also treated my daughter on the same day she does not have insurance but I was glad to pay the small fee that does not even compare to my past hospital bills and long wait times at the hospital. One of the most basic things a nurse should know is how to flush out an ear. The nurse (who barely spoke English) destroyed my ear by going in too deep in my ear. Over a week later, I'm still dizzy with severe ear pain. I plan on pursuing legal action if it continues. read more

The care there is mediocre at best. But the REAL issue? Insurance. Now if you go there and your insurance has a co-pay, you will be charged the co-pay PLUS and ADDITIONAL fee of upwards of $50.00. The reason for this? As it was explained to me by their billing "expert," Michelle, this additional fee is charged in case YOUR insurance doesn't cover everything they did during your care. Now, your insurance company likely has an agreement with Campbell Urgent Care, for Campbell to accept, AFTER the co-pay, whatever the charge may be. HOWEVER, Campbell must think that what they are getting is not good enough and will ILLICITLY charge you EXTRA to cover their costs. In my opinion, which I am entitled to, this is an insurance SCAM. Now, again, in my opinion, unless you REQUEST a refund (if Campbell thinks your entitled to one) you'll NEVER see the additional fee you WRONGFULLY paid UNLESS you actually call to request it. IF you have been there and have NOT seen a refund for money you may have wrongfully paid, you can call the BELIGERENT BILLING EXPERT, MICHELLE at 305-823-2503. In my opinion, she really doesn't care about refunding you anything. But it's worth a try. IF you call and Michelle gives you some form of BS, then I recommend contacting the Miami Dade Dept. of Consumer affairs and filling out a complaint on line. However, to avoid being ripped off..... My family and I went there on 12/26/21. It was very busy even before the clinic opened. The staff worked very hard to organize everyone who was waiting outside, mostly to get COVID-19 tests. They were efficient and friendly despite being inundated with patients. We were treated and on the way back home in 90 minutes, When I called for follow-up, support the staff was very kind and took care of what I needed. read more

I avoid medical intervention as long as I possibly can, but once in a while something goes awry and you need help. My health insurance provider's website directed me here as the nearest place that accepted my insurance. I did not know what to expect when I arrived at the office location, but kept an open mind. I was in great pain and they helped me competently and compassionately, I actually required minor surgery which they performed right there. Dr. Ernesto Rodriguez was really nice and professional, and on a Saturday and again on Sunday no less. They are walk-in only and first-come first-serve but I still waited less time than I would at a typical ER. I would not hesitate to return here. read more

Actual medical care was decent. However the way the office is being run certainly will make you look for elsewhere to go! Turned in some forms for my job on Monday for doctor to fill out. I was told by 'Carla' that the doctor would have it for me by end of week, if not sooner. I go back Friday, first was told doctor could not/would not fill out forms, then the office staff could not find my forms! Lost a whole week of time sensitive time due to their incompetence!! Avoid at all cost, cause at the end of the day its the paperwork involved that counts! But they are certainly efficient in collecting your money!!!! read more

I like this place as the staff is very friendly and so are the Dr's. My only issue is that the hrs read, 8-8pm and still no Drs in sight at 8:38am and I've been waiting for the office to open since 7:40 am. So technically Ive been waiting for nearly 40 mins + now. If your looking to get in way early and leave early. This will not be the case. Come 9am or after to guarantee a Dr is already here in the office. read more

I came here to get a physical done for a job I was applying for. I did the whole thing, paid the $150 and was on my way. Come to find out I need a stamp from the doctor on the form. No problem, I head on over, speak to the girl at the front desk only to find out that they can't help me. They don't have the kind of stamp I need on the form. So now I'm forced to go somewhere else, pay all over again, miss another day of work to get the physical done. I was spoken to as if I was asking for something forbidden, when in fact, the doctor is supposed to have a stamp like the one I need. Won't be coming here ever again. This place is a little sketchy looking/feeling inside and out, but literally every single person I dealt with was nice, knowledgeable and generally "with it" - I was pleasantly surprised over and over. It was also pretty quick overall, I was in and out in about an hour and a half total including them calling my insurance, my filling out forms, peeing in a cup, etc. There was nobody else waiting when I arrived, though, so I don't know what it's like on a busier day. read more

This place is a small basic facility with minimal inexperienced staff. The receptionist processed my info. and took my co-pay and I received treatment, only to be told when I returned for the follow up appointment that they did not accept Florida Blue insurance. I called my insurance co. and reported the situation because the clinic made the mistake not me, and now they expect me to pay full price. I cancelled the follow-up appointment and drove up to Cutler Bay to MD Now Urgent Care Center and what a difference! That place is beautiful, clean, professional and state-of-the-art equipped, a huge upgrade over Campbell Drive plus they are open 7 days per week. They make no effort to prioritize - you get seen in the order you arrive. Once seen, the service was speedy, thorough, and professional. Our grown son had just come back to the US from Cambodia and was quite ill. There was at least a 6 hr wait at the ER and our doctor couldn't fit him in, so we took a chance and took him to this clinic. The doctor was obviously well trained and was a native English speaker. The care and follow up were excellent with no skimping on the needed tests. The doctor even called to check on him a couple of days after starting his meds. I was very impressed! And they took his insurance! I would go to this clinic before going to the ER every time! read more

This place deserves less than 1 star for its incompetency, lack of communication, lack of putting patients first, and for inefficiency. They reminded me of why Miami has a terrible reputation for lacking or slacking. They have a glitch in their payment system but too unprofessional to inform anyone before swiping their cards for payment. Therefore, resulted in double charging which put my son's bank account in zero and if that wasn't bad enough then denied him to see a physician because the women in the front could not see the charge on her end; and had the audacity to ask my son to pay a third time as if they were so reliable with the first two charges. Although my son showed her the two pending charges on his account she, unknowing his medical condition that brought him there to begin with, still rejected him. I've known many people to go to an urgent care thinking its a small condition then leave and pass out in the street and die. How did this woman after turning my son down know for sure this would not have happened? They didn't care if it did is the answer which also says they are unethical. So your wellbeing isn't a priority and if thats the case how then are they a medical facility if the wellness of patience isn't top priority. If she saw that my son's account showed two charges thats proof enough of over payment much less a single payment. Because of desperation we made a third payment and he saw a physician. And mind you we have great insurance. This small visit is going to result in my insurance being charged hundreds of dollars way over a copayment amount. Pathetic! But this isn't going to end like this. The pending better clear. If not, it's robbery and I will see to it that my lawyers will make sure this will never happen to anyone again. read more

Both my wife and I love Campbell Urgent Care. They have saved us a small fortune with medical situations that would have cost thousands if we went to a local emergency room. The nurse and doctor will see you after a short wait, determine from your symptoms the necessary treatment and prescribe the needed medications. I went in on Saturday (2/9) with agonizing lower back pains but Dr. Chaundry knew it was more than back pains. He asked I get several test done in the hospital asap. He was right after a ct scan and ultrasound it uncovered I had a chronic case of gallbladder stones. I had surgery on Tuesday and am recovering well. In addition, the following Sunday (2/17) I went back to the Campbell Urgent Care with a terrible cough and I was concerned because of my recent surgery, it turned out to be bronchitis and thankfully with all the medications prescribed today I am feeling better from it. In a period of one week I was there twice and was taken care of much better than waiting for hours or maybe days to see my PCP perhaps making my situation dangerously worse. The doctors, nurses, and staff are very professional, caring, and listen to your concerns. This is what good medical care should be like especially when it's an emergency. Thank you so much!!!
