This review is based on a brief experience and not a full service: My car was scheduled for a full service at our local garage on Monday, but I was traveling to my parent's house on Saturday before... when my "Low Oil" light came on. I didn't want to go the additional 150 miles needed before Monday without having the oil level checked, and I'm no longer local to my guy. Hmmmm, I drive past Campbell's in New Bethlehem and it looks like they are open so I drive in and ask if they can help. I explain the situation and am told that they'd be happy to help and for 150 miles until service I only really need enough oil to get me home, not a full change -- or a full $$ charge. In less than 5 minutes I was on my way. Oil light satisfied and a "$5 will cover it" kind of transaction later. Would my engine have blown up? I don't know, but it was nice to be sure because these things are way outside of my comfort zone. I'm just thankful that Campbell's was there! read more

We had car trouble while traveling. We got as close to the shop as possible before the car died, which was literally 2 blocks away. The owner came down, jumped our car and we were able to pull it into his shop. He assessed the problem. Parts were not available, due to everything else being closed on Saturday afternoon. He stayed open to assist us. We tried to locate a car rental nearby given that our car wasn't able to be serviced. He located a gentleman who offered to drive us to a neighboring town to obtain car rental. Both the owner and the gentleman who drove my family went above and beyond and we are incredibly grateful for their assistance. He even referred us to local tow company and delivered our car key there for us, so we could complete our trip. If you are ever in need of car service, I highly recommend Campbell's. If they can't fix it, they will be honest, and recommend others to assist. He didn't even charge us for his time. Requested instead that we donate funds to a local church, which we did. read more
