This place is very clean and beautifully kept up. The gentleman that took my phone call at 11:30 pm was so helpful and nice. He took our last minute reservation to stay for 1 night. Most places are not 24/7, so we highly recommend this place. Super easy to access from the highway. This campground is 5 stars all the way. The RV hookups spots are spacious. While traveling from California back home to Florida I encountered a severe thunderstorm which included hail in Texas. I couldn't make it to my next campground destination due to visibility issues while driving and hauling a 30ft travel trailer. I called and spoke to Trina who immediately was concerned for my safety and gave me the information I needed to turn back and head here for the night to hunker down at. She called twice to make sure I would make it to the spot and ok. The friendliness and hospitality shown by the folks here was astounding. Amazing RV park with great phone service that allowed my mom and I to come in and stay the night despite the office being closed for the night. Bathrooms are very clean and has all the facilities you need for an RV (Electrical, water, waste dump). 10/10! read more

We loved it here. We stayed here for 2 weeks in a 5th wheel in an overnight/weekly spot. Campground was quite full. (Lots of work in the area). Our spot was a pull thru with gravel. It was nice and level. Our friend was in the main part of the campground and it took a bit of maneuvering to get his camper parked! The couple that run the park are wonderful people and very accommodating. I did not do laundry here, but it was available. The store is nice and cool! The WiFi was excellent. We were able to receive mail. The town is a sleepy little cute town. The park is just a few miles from Walmart and "town"! The pool was wonderful. It is a quiet park. read more

Very nice campground, nice roomy spots! Very clean and nice shade trees! Easy access to Hwy 287

We had planned to get to the campground on 8/3, but, unfortunately things happened and we didn't arrive like we had planned. I called the next morning and spoke with Trina and she was very accommodating about our campsite and coming in a day late. We arrived Around 10:30 pm and called to get directions to our site. Again, they were VERY nice. When we got to our site, the folks next to us had their car parked into our site just enough to be in our way. I called the office again and spoke to Trina. Explained to her about the issue and immediately moved us to another site which actually was a nicer spot. The campground is very clean very, nice looking. The rest rooms have combo locks on them so be sure you have that important email with you. ( I accidentally deleted mine). They have a nice little store on site. They also have RV storage, mini storage, playground and they have a swimming pool. The site we had was pretty level, they have trees it was the perfect place for just one night or for many nights. We will be coming back through there and stopping again. Trina is a great hostess! read more

Easy on/off the highway; significant highway noise. Site was somewhat off level front-to-back, not a huge deal to correct. Site was exactly the size of our rig; power and water were a stretch, and sewer inlet was just too far forward to connect. Bathhouse air-conditioned, but zero toilet paper in the men's and no replacement stock obvious. The usual campground WiFi -- fine signal coverage, but insufficient bandwidth. Huge, mature trees provide plenty of shade. Listing says "open 24 hours" but office closes at 7 PM; pool also closes at 7 PM, which for transient travelers is too early. We added a star because desk clerk was a peach to deal with, and she had a spot for us after another area campground sandbagged us on our reservation and others were all reporting no vacancies. read more

The owner was sweet from the get-go. We called en-route and she took all our info over the phone. When we arrived, she even offered to let the kids swim in the pool after-hours. The sites were level and I like that each site has a landscaping light at the head of it... made it easier for the kids to take a little bike ride at dusk. Not a busy or crowded campground, and a pretty part of Texas with rolling hills and mesquite trees. read more

Traveling from CA to MO in September. I stopped in at Campers Paradise. I met with the new owner and manager Jim. They both were extremely helpful and friendly. Was just staying for a few days, but ended up staying for a month. The pool was spotless and very relaxing. The store had everything, food and camping supplies. I would highly recommend this place and saw many new renovations taking place. By the time my stay was over, I felt like I met truly good friends who made me feel like part of the family. I am definitely returning on my trip home. I would recommend this family oriented camp ground. read more
