We've stayed here twice now, one time on the way up to the Midwest and we are here now on our way back. The first time we were here it was incredibly stormy and we were grateful that our spot was right next to the storm shelter. This time while we've had a rain shower, the weather has been fairly calm. However, our spot is on the end closer to the highway, and the road noise, even with our fan going as incredibly loud. Make it a point to ask for something a little more interior if you're going to be staying here for any length of time. The clubhouse is really nice, we did laundry and everything was functional, and the staff at the front desk were helpful when we checked in. There is a small pool here and people were enjoying it during these hot summer days. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby if you need to resupply as well. It is very difficult to get in and out of here from Mustang Road. The corner is quite tight if you're towing a car or in a large RV so just be aware. You also have to make a left turn without the assistance of a light in order to get back to Highway 40. It will be interesting on our departure today if we have any trouble. During rush-hour, we sat for quite a bit in the car trying to exit here and ended up having to take a right and make a U-turn, which is not very easy to do if we're towing the car! read more

If you want a bad situation made worse...stay here! My family and I were on a cross country road trip from Arizona. When we woke up on the morning we were supposed to check out, one of our slide outs on the motor home would not retract. We found ourselves in a strange city on a Sunday with our summer trip in jeopardy. When my wife went to the office to let them know we were stuck she was not met with sympathy but with a snotty attitude. Front desk staff were clear about this being a huge inconvenience for them since they were fully booked for that night. As much as it was out of our control the situation we had put them in was not lost on us. However with our summer trip coming to an abrupt end, we had heartbroken kids and a fully paid for trip falling apart before our eyes...a friendly smile would have gone a long way! Instead we got eye rolls and sneers. The campground was very nice and the bathrooms were very clean but the staff sucked! read more

If I could give negative stars I would! This place is a joke. So, the clubhouse is only open during the daytime- because someone left dirt on the counter and they didn't want to clean it up. The ENTIRE TIME you are in the club house, the worker is breathing down your neck, literally walking in to stare at us every four to five min. It's absolutely creepy. Then today, my husband was watching television ( volume on 32) while our boys played a game of pool, and without a single word the woman came in and turned the television down where it couldn't be heard Instead of just shutting the sliding door. They also took a game away from my kids when I went to the restroom for 3 minutes. They are like creepy snakes slithering around in every corner. They are not polite in any way, they have no manners and act like it's their place and we are an inconvenience. The 'free coffee' is a joke also. They didn't put out creamer or stir sticks etc and were rude to us when we asked. Their main motive is to sit on their butt and do nothing, and ruin it for everyone else. If I hadn't already paid this month we would leave! There is nothing good here Except the fact It's gated- and even then it's a pain in the butt. There were two girls and the dad and mom in the pool yesterday. The dude went out and freaked out on them for using the life ring, even after the gentleman explained he was teaching his kid to swim. The dude acted like they performed some act against the country or something. It's soooo rediculous!!! Oh, and washer one and three are the only ones that get the clothes clean. The other two washers don't work and nothing has been done To fix them. A camp ground is a place for families to enjoy themselves and make memories together who cares if there is a little dirt to clean up in the morning, these people are after all hired to WORK here. Guests are the ones that keep the bills paid if your guests aren't happy and having a good time bills don't get paid. Kids should be able to enjoy themselves and have fun for summer not be in a military work camp. there are cameras everywhere. Use them. read more

The spaces are clean and paved. The park is tucked behind a LaQuinta Hotel and a little difficult to find at first. Front desk staff was not friendly at all and actually was a little argumentative. Did not feal very welcomed. There are quite a few fire ants but did see someone spraying for them. Road noise is an issue. It is an ok park if you are just driving through to your next destination. Horrible night sleep because this RV location is 25 feet from the I 40 highway. We felt like we were parked and trying to sleep in the middle of the highway median. Our rig was moving with the wind of the tractor trailers coming by. Things let up a bit between 3 AM and 5 AM. Bottom line, transients are not going to get a good nights rest at this location because all the transient spots are next to the highway. 5 Star Rooms translates to 5 Star Spaces! This RV Park was one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. Nice grass areas between paved spaces. Full hook ups, very friendly and professional staff. DJ was excellent, both on the phone and later in person. What a pleasure to deal with someone who is both happy to have you there and not afraid to show it. After check in he walked out to our assigned space as we pulled in just to offer help or answer questions. The next day the park hosted a Coffee and Donuts morning social event so travelers might have a better chance to meet one another. Very nice idea! Spaces closer to the highway are louder but less expensive. The other side of the park had virtually no noise issue at all. There was a nice enclosed(fenced) dog run area complete with a bag of tennis balls for the pups to play with. Whenever we pass this way again we will be looking forward to another visit at the Mustang Run RV Park! read more

This RV park is the worst in the state, simply do to management having a bad, snarky, demeaning attitude towards their customers. The lady that runs the front desk will belittle you and is very very unprofessional. The management is worse than any place I have EVER stayed. Including all rv parks and motels. I would stay in a motel 6 before I ever considered going back to this place. Absolutely disgustingly rude and disrespectful, even when you try to be very cordial, they are not. We are permanently banned from this park. We had three no-shows but offered to pay for the site. Our reason for the no shows- We had three separate family emergencies. The park is close to empty today while every other RV Park in the area is full. No other RV Park employees recommended Mustang Park. I can't give it no stars so one will have to do. read more

We have liked this park so much in the past. Little noisy since its close to I 40, but thats ok. VERY HARDyo get in and out of the park. Traffic is horrible. But super easy to communicate and get reservations. Office personnel are very nice. BUT unfortunately the grounds are heading downhill. Landscaping not kept up. If it weren't for weeds it wouldn't be green. Landscapers came during our stay and they are very messy, they do not clean up they just cut the grass and leave it wherever it lands. Grass on the grass and on the cement pads. Weeds are coming up in the cracks and they didn't even address those. What a shame! read more

Clean and easy to find. Easy access to all RV sites. Polite and helpful ckeck-in. Terrible WiFi and connection to the cable was badly damaged. Picnic table was shredded with damage and couldn't be sat on without serious injury. Could be much better with some simple maintenance needs. read more

Never will I ever recommend this place! Every person has been rude since the very first phone call. From the person receiving the reservation, the person checking us in, to the owner! Great way to make your paying guests feel welcomed! They advertise WiFi that has never worked. They offer a place to park our RV with no real convenient place to park our large vehicle, except for down by their office. Hospitality though??.. they do NOT offer that! You will not find that here. What we did get was anger, frustration, a few eye rolls and an unwelcomed overall feeling even to my guests! Don't get me wrong, it's a clean, pretty park. But that all goes downhill when the entire staff has a shitass attitude. Customer care goes a long way. We will definitely be cutting this stay short! read more

I came in Sunday night for a funeral Monday morning. I went in to pay in the office before leaving for a 10am funeral. I asked if it would be ok to leave at 2pm so we could be with the family a little. He said no that's not possible. I offered to pay for the extra time. "There is another person coming in for 10 days in that site and it's too hard to move him." Glad to know that I'm not nearly as important as the long stay people. So I left the funeral early to get out of the way. Beautiful spot and great location. Office needs some help. read more

This is our 2nd stay with them and our last! The front desk staff, Jennifer is so rude! I know that anyone can have a bad day so I always give a second chance but this one takes the trophy. They are about 150 feet off interstate 40 and obviously it is noisy, that's a given. It's difficult to get into the park and even more difficult to get out and back on the interstate, as you have to cross 4 lanes of traffic with no stop sign or stop light for oncoming traffic. The rv sites are spacious and all concrete pads, they all have little spots of grass. However, the grass is always in need of mowing. When my husband explained that the grass was high in the dog park and asked when the grass would be mowed, (we've been here 5 days) Jennifer's reply was "what do you want me to do, close the building and get a push mower and mow it for you?" They have a dog park but the grass is always high and they have cinder blocks "to let the dogs play on"!!! Your pups can't run for fear of running into these blocks, or the metal sign in the center of the dog park. Our prior experience was bad but again we gave another chance. An RVer had a party until 1am, even though in the rules it, as well as drinking outside of the RV, is "strictly prohibited". We contacted the number after hours and reached the answering service only to be asked if it was an emergency, if not there was nothing that needed to be done. We will not return. If I could rate it a -5 I would. We have been going to this RV park for the past 8 years now. The amenities were great the first 4 to 5 years and staffing was always friendly and accommodating, but has gone down hill the past couple of years. This year topped the cake when my husband called to let them know we would still be coming into the city for the WCWS as we have been for the past 11 years. We always reserve our spot before we leave the prior year. Well this time the front desk was extremely rude after she told him it was never reserved. When he explained who he spoke to last year the lady was very quick to say there has never been a person like that there working before. The sad thing is he has been there for a couple of years. Well they have lost a valuable client and we will be letting everyone know how poorly this group of people have become and how extremely rude and unaccommodating they have become. Nice RV Park. But right outside our door at our camp site is a lot of dog poop that hasn't been picked up in I don't know how long. The gal at the front desk is very rude and un helpful. The most disgusting people I've ever dealt with. We were there buying a camper. The seller has paid for 24 hour stay and we weren't gonna be there for 2 hours. We got bitched at for our vehicles being in the way and they weren't. Park was over half empty. If it was possible to leave no stars I would. When you own a business you should take pride in it. This place is disgusting from the people to the bathroom to the pool. They do not take care of it at all. The people who run it are beyond rude and speak to you as if you are beneath them. The bathrooms are never clean and half the washers and dryers do not work, nor will they give you a refund if you tell them you our coins into the machines. We stayed overnight at the beginning of May enroute to Phoenix and at the end of May returning. Both stays very nice. Even with the Covid situation the park was kept very clean. The layout is superb.....we have a 41 foot 5th wheel and you can maneuver in this park! Pads are concrete and spot on level! Very easy access from I40 (this is on the west side of OKC where 40 and 44 come together). The other cool thing is they do have storm cellars in the event of tornadoes! Cell service and wifi are both excellent. On the negative side, you are right next to I40....so this place is great for a convenient overnight, but I would not spend my vacation here! We will be back whenever we are crossing the country. read more

Parked here for two weeks, simple and easy check in and check out. They have Wifi but you're better of using your phone signal it's very spotty, it's right on the highway so you will hear all the vehicles driving by maybe even hear a semi tire blow out. everyone in the park is super quite and friendly. they have laundry room which is super clean it's $1.50 for washer & 1.50 for a dry, the women's bathroom was always super clean, my bf said the men's bathroom could be better kept, they do trash pick up which is awesome, they have a small dog park for your furry friends. This was our second stay st this park and we will not be back . First visit we were parked in the middle of the campground and had no problems. This time we were next to I 40 and it was terrible. Sleep was not good to say the least. We also had an electrical problem. Since the light on the box had gone out, we thought it was a problem with their equipment, we checked the fuses, etc in our RV. When the maintenance man (or owner, I don't know) arrived, he was a Grouch! It didn't take him long to tell us the problem was in our RV and he left after telling us how far he had to drive and it was our problem. We did get it figured out without his help. I called this Park several times trying to reserve a spot but was always told they were full. I am moving and needed to park my RV somewhere and stay in it. Each time they said they were full. I live close to this place so I drove thru it several times and there were vacant spots everywhere. They finally they allowed me to stay 1 week starting June 20th. On the 26th I went to the office and ask if I could stay a couple of more nights. Was told they were booked up and I had to leave. I went back around 11:00 PM on the 27th and there were 15 vacant spots. Went back on the 28th late in the evening and there were 21 vacant spots. For the life of me I can't imagine why the owners would allow the people working there to run this place like they do. The male and female employee that I talked to were rude every time I talked to them. Will never bother calling them again. read more

My husband and I have stayed here many times. They have always treated us great!!! The lot are accommodating enough for a 38 ft fifth wheel toy hauler and a "duly truck" in front and are motorcycle in back. It is close to interstate 40. All sites are concrete pads awesome. Very, very rude female at front desk. Tried to modify our stay by 2 days and they were not willing to assist, stating they only do so "if we have the room". The park is probably only 1/2 full and we stated we'd be glad to move sites if needed but she wouldn't work with us. We were forced to book another RV park in OKC that could accommodate us for the extended stay starting today and when we went back to office at Mustang Run to tell her we could pull out earlier than planned now, she rudely stated they offer no refunds of any kind. She stated, "you can leave now if you want I don't care but you're not getting any money back". Her tone and attitude were awful. Park is clean, but very loud 24/7 due to being right on I-40. We won't be back due to the staff rudeness. read more

We had a nice week stay at this rv park. Clean and wonderful. Wi-fi was just OK. the staff was nice. It was conveniently located to many to the freeway so it made visiting friends and local attractions easy. Lots of nearby dining. Park had tons of pull through rvs that were ideal for big rigs. There was a pool, but we didnt have time for that. The laundry room was nice and clean and all machines were in great working order. A little pricy but I guess anytime there is Resort in the name you kinda got to expect that. We would stay here again, but wouldn't say its on a must go again list next time we are in Yukon. read more

I don't recommend this RV park. The park itself is nice enough for what it is. The people who live there, as well as people who are traveling and stay for a night or two, are really nice. There is a small pool. The man who works there is pleasant and appears to be a hard worker. The other employee, Jennifer, is rude and extremely unprofessional. Loved this place! Lovely park, level pads, wide sites with plenty of grass area and a picnic table. Clubhouse was very nice! Pleasant, helpful staff checked me in. Very easy to access for arrival. Adjacent to the freeway, so if you sit outside, there is freeway noise, but we had no difficulty with noise when we went to sleep. Minutes from tons of stuff, and close to Oklahoma City, so you're at a major hub for travel. So glad we stopped here! read more

Nice RV park and all regarding the spots. Two major gripes though. Parking and internet. First off the parking. The lots are only big enough for one vehicle at most. No vehicle if you are lucky enough to have a bigger RV. They could widen the front of the lots to accommodate vehicles. Next is the Internet. It's non-existent. I mean they have it but it's slower than 2g speeds (128kb/s or .1 mb/s) I am in the unfortunate position that I have to have Internet for work and this isn't acceptable. What makes this a one star review, however is the staff's complete and total apathetic behavior towards me when I questioned them regarding the service. It was almost like, "well we have it at the front desk so we can browse and surf all day, sorry bout your luck" type of attitude. This is where it further warrants a one star. I happen to know a little bit about networking so I was able to get in touch with the company that set up their park. I found out that despite them telling the owners of mustang run the proper way to set up a network, the owners went against their advice and took the cheap way out. They have had numerous complaints and still refuse to fix the Internet issue. I have tried Cox, AT&T u verse, satellite none of which are offered here at the park. We are in a digital dead zone. The only way to get a decent connection is to hotspot your cell phone. Which is costly and not practical and it is mostly because of the owners. I do not think they understand the importance of Internet in this day and age and they have completely disregarded the advice of the professionals they hired to set it up. It is a nice looking park and all but for me the lack of a proper connection and the total lack of apathy is what make this park one star. read more

This is a new park. The pads are all level concrete, as are the drives. Everything is clean. The laundry is nice, the restrooms and showers are great. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. There are 3 storm shelters with supplies. It is close to freeway, restaurants, shopping and fuel. Would go back there again. Wonderful fenced dog park. read more

We stayed 2 weeks at this park while in Oklahoma City. It is new and so very clean! The showers and laundry are very spacious and clean. The clubhouse has a fireplace and is very beautiful. The pool is small but we were usually the only ones out there. They also have a dog run and trail on the perimeter of the park. All spaces are paved and spacious. We are planning to stay again soon! read more

While this is a nice newer park with great bathrooms & concrete pads they have made the same fatal mistakes we have seen at many RV parks. We are full time RVers so we've seen it all. This place was built within the last 3-4 years but they placed it 500 yards from I-40 claiming easy on & off but the road coming in doesn't have a light so it's difficult to cross over & turn left towards interstate. There is a shopping center across the street so that you can turn right then go thru parking lot to turn around. The noise is awful so bring your fans & plan on running the A/C!! Also they did minimal landscaping with almost no trees even though they had the opportunity at the construction phase to put a tree on each space with irrigation. Come on folks if you have an RV Park give people some shade to sit outside or at least shade the rigs from 90 degree weather. Despite all that the park is nice enough for overnight but forget a longer stay!! I'll stay a mile off the interstate just so I don't have to listen to highway traffic all night after all we put up with it all day driving but I don't want to hear it all night. read more
