The absolute worst service I've ever had buying a camper. I bought a brand new forest river wildwood heritage Glenn 5th from camping world on April 10th of 2026. I take it on the first camping trip on April 17th I walk into the camper while it was raining and the back slide out is pouring water inside of the camper. I try to call them they are so hard to get in touch with no body ever knows what is going on over there I would not recommend anyone to buy a camper from them! There are a couple little things that I pointed out before signing papers they said they were gonna take care of them when I get there for the walk through I see these problems still we're not fixed I mentioned to them again nothing was done for the second time of letting them know! If I could give negative stars, I would. First off, Fallon was my service coordinator for the process of repairing a Blackwater tank issue as well as a leaking toilet. She was professional and I appreciate that. Other than that, their service department is abysmal. I dropped my camper off in mid December and it took until the middle of April to get the issues resolved. When I went to pick up my trailer, I paid my deductible and went to get my trailer hooked up. The auto-jack, that worked every time I used it prior to leaving it at Camping world, was no longer operating. The switch contactor wasn't working........a part they should have in stock. Instead, they told me I was going to have to pay another $217.00 to get a $20.00 part changed......AND I was going to have to leave my camper for who knows how long. Overall, I wouldn't and won't give them another stitch of my business, save the service they owe me annually. Their service manager is inept and instead of offering solutions, she gave me lipservice and runaround. Take your business elsewhere. Worst service department ever. I purchased a new fifth wheel camper in September. There were sev issues that were pointed out before I signed the paperwork and they said they would take care of it. After I signed the paperwork they said they would apply it to warranty work. I had them move the camper to a campground and I noticed a few more things that needed to be warrantied. I advised that I was going offshore and would make arranged arrangements to have brought in few repair when I got back in... I had the RV delivered in October and am still waiting for them to release it.... There was dam to the awning that accrued on there lot before delivery that warranty didn't want to pay for. After a complaint with corporate was filed in December right before Christmas, they agreed to fix it. I got a call January 19 stating that the replacement awning was in. I followed up on the 27th and was told the camper was waiting to be put in the shop. I explained to the advisor that I have not had the camper in 4 months and would like to see when they could push it through as I am paying for a unit I have never slept in yet. I received a follow up call today stating that they ordered the wrong fabric, meaning it will be February before I get it back... Camping World will never have my business again! read more

Save your breath. Save your money and gas. Do NOT buy from this company. The service department is filled with empty promises and lies. It has a been a problem since day 1. For example, we had a huge defect in the flooring. They patched it up and said bring it back, so we can replace the whole floor under warranty. Then, they retracted that statement of fixing it and said sorry we can't do that. The patch looks hideous. To say I'm furious is an understatement. That's just one example. There's plenty more. I would give 0 if I could. we took our fifth wheel in do to a crack on the outside by the door which went on in the inside. pluse a few other things. well after about 2-3 months. we were told the frame broke and needed welding. we said ok. well about another couple of months it went to a body shop. supposdely they fixed it. now about another 6 months after we got camper back we were going to leave on a month trip. we brought the camper from the back to the driveway about 30 yards. well you guessed it. the rv carvked cracked at the same place before inside and out. we called Falcon our service rep. sent pictures. ask her to please get back to us.. it is after 5 and she sent an email and told us her manager( who remains nameless) wants us to bring it in so they can look at it. I do not trust these people. we paI'd over $4,000 also we ask they looks at the computer screen as one of the items were missing. she told us she turned it on and looked ok. My wife and I received an excellent education in where not to purchase anything!! The salesman Will, was a complete idiot. My wife is in a wheelchair and she also was carrying enough money in her purse to purchase whatever she wanted on that lot. Mr. Will decided to ignore every word she said without realizing that i was not the one buying anything. He continuously ignored her and kept trying to pull me in the office as if I was the only person there. I did everything possible to ignore the guy thinking he would be smart enough to realize i wasn't buying she was. We informed all of them upon arrival that we did not want to deal with anyone. We express that we wanted to look on our own with no distractions. It's obvious that my wife has special needs and so we were looking for specific things. And also looking to see if there are things is it the trailers offer that would not work for her daily life. Will cats telling us that he could find what we needed. If I told him what it is, I was looking for. So you can see the frustration that we were having. No one can decide this it's a process. Will would not listen to my wife. Was acting like we live in the dark ages where women know their place. And to be honest, my wife makes the decisions when it comes to money and purchasing. He would not take us out to look at any of the merchandise that was on the lot. When you go buy a car, you always walk around and look at the different vehicles that you're interested in. That's not what was happening here. My wife asked if it was a liability? Did we have to sit down in his office and give all our information before we can even look? We didn't even know if they had what we needed. He then proceeded to be condescending and basically quickly threw a number at me without a single word in and proceeded to let me know how little I knew. I even offered constructive critiscm...Let the customer get a word in, instead of treating them like they are uneducated....what did he do...correct my spelling.... I wish we had read the reviews for Camping World Breaux Bridge, LA. If we had, we never would have stepped foot on the property. The traveler trailer we purchased was a disaster within 24 hours of us hooking up and taking it home with a few significant issues their $1900 pre-delivery inspection failed to find. These issues were: #1 We had a flat tire from tire rot driving from Camping World to our home. #2 The travel trailer was filthy, with the previous owner's dog hair stuck all over the trailer in prominent places the Camping World's cleaning service had two times to clean before selling us the travel trailer. I am allergic to dog hair, so I didn't appreciate having to take antihistamines when I stepped into my RV. #3 The trailer had water leaks in the roof and under the kitchen sink. These are service repair issues, but we also had problems with the sales department before, during, and after purchase, namely, questionable sales tactics from the salesperson and the financial agent for Camping World Breaux Bridge, LA. We were so unhappy with the whole RV service repair and sales departments we took a loss to be free of an awful travel trailer and purchasing experience, as we knew it would never end with those three issues we had. We sold the travel trailer back to Camping World that we purchased not even two weeks ago for several thousand dollars less than we paid for it. At the end of the day, we feel cheated, and our joy for camping is gone; however, we can sleep well tonight knowing we are no longer stuck with an RV note. read more

Argued with me about it and said I didn't know what I was doing and I needed to just do what they said. Deposited a $3000 check for a down payment on the loan I turned down and so far hasn't given me a refund or a call other than trying to " save the deal". My wife and I purchased a Jayco Greyhawk from Camping World of Breaux Bridge. We made an appointment days in advance. Upon arriving at the dealership from a 3 hour drive the battery was dead and the RV was filthily. We were told if we purchased the unit both batteries would be replaced. We did purchase the RV and our first trip the house battery went out and we could not retract the jacks among other things. After replacing the battery so we could return home we noticed neither battery were replaced. I have tried numerous times to reach out to the deanship with no response. THEY LITERALLY CHARGE FOR WASHING THAT CAMPER AND CLEANING UP THE INSIDE AND WALKING YOU THROUGH BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!! These are all things they add to the price before charging you taxes. This drives up the amount of purchase so that the salesman get a better commission. I have attached proof of purchase invoice on what we paid. I made notes on the side of each cost. When you purchase a car the dealership cleans that thing up for you before you leave...FOR FREE! Fight this charge, it is totally unnecessary. If I had known we were being charged this, I would have walked out until they decided to give it to me for free, or not sell a camper. They did not go over this invoice before we left and it was our mistake for not making them. Had I saw these charges we would have haggled. I think they might do this every time. They use key phrases like "do you need hitch work?" DON'T SAY YES. If you say yes, you are getting that expensive hitch and paying about 300.00 more than one on Amazon. This dealership was in Breaux Bridge, LA. We did not do our research before we went. Had we done our research we would not have gone to Camper World. They have a very low rating. We have been looking for a 5th wheel camper since the beginning of September and had been to numerous dealers both in and out of state. It wasn't until we went to Camping World in Breaux Bridge for the second time that we found what we were looking for. Our salesman Logan was very knowledgeable and patient with us while we looked and looked. He even took the time to search online to help us find the camper we wanted. When we did decide on the camper we got he made sure that was the one we wanted and did not try to sell us the most expensive camper they had. The staff there was also very nice and understanding about the situation we found ourselves in after the hurricane and went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed and wanted. There were a few minor issues that were not covered by warranty but Logan made sure those were taken care of anyways and that we were happy with our purchase. I will make it a huge point to refer Camping World of Breaux Bridge and Logan to everyone as the place to go to purchase not only a camper but also the accessories. We bought a camper in December 2020. It is March 27, 2021 and we still do not have the brand new camper that we bought. During the transfer a door fell off and damage the flooring due to Covid it was delayed however, we are going on 4 months... The general manager repetitively has been neglectful in keeping us informed. We are now working with the manufacture. On multiple occasions they had told us that the camper was ready and we drove 1.5 hours To pick up the camper only to be told that it was not ready or to wait for it and oops it's not ready. With a significant amount of money that we put down on the vehicle, the fact that we have paid 4 Months of notes, insurance, would have been using it to camp but been having to get hotels, multiple trips back-and-forth and hours spent on the phone with representatives we have been out of pocket a large sum of money. And yes We still don't have a camper. You would think the company would care enough to bend over backwards to make the customer happy. All we want is the camper we purchased. Drive to dealership to sign paperwork to only find out it was going to be an additional 2,500 more. Sales mgr comes in and says basically I'm not removing this cost. The cost should have been communicated prior to filling out a credit report. I feel sorry for the couple that has their camper on consignment. Edit- Even after posting this review, the sales manager called me and tried to "save the deal." He told me he would now honor all the promises my sales lady had originally made, as well as throw in some other things. I told him no thank you, and that I would just like a refund. He said that was not possible. I told him I would wait for the GM to call me. I'm not sure if it was my letter to corporate, or my posting bad reviews, but the GM did say that he would refund my money. I appreciate him refunding my $1,000, but after all the trouble I had with them, my one star rating still stands. I'm sad that it took going to corporate for the dealership to finally agree to own their mistakes and make them right, but I am thankful that Zacharia, the GM, ultimately did the right thing. I would NEVER wish my experience and the absolute nightmare that has been dealing with Camping World, on anyone else. On several occasions we were lied to, the first one being the very first day we were working our deal! We were told that our $1,000 deposit was to get our RV to their dealership. A month later (I was between jobs, so waiting on financing), I was told that the money wasn't actually for that, and our RV was still in Lubbock, Texas. I was also told by the saleswoman, Vickie, that they would include a washer/dryer combo as a free perk, among a few other things. That was signed by a manager the day that we were working the deal. After weeks of little to no communication and ignored calls and texts, Vickie finally started communicating with me when the deal was starting to progress. After a few days of back and forth, and promising to put a rush on the delivery of our RV to get it to their dealership within 2 days, the saleswoman texted me at FOUR IN THE MORNING ON A SUNDAY to let me know she would no longer be assisting me, and had passed me off to someone else. When I finally got to talk to Darren, the sales manager, he said that she did not get those things approved by management, and that he could not honor her promises, even though management had already signed to approve them. They also changed the entire way we had agreed to do the deal, which was only going to be in my name only. All of the sudden wanted to add my husband, and give me almost an 11% interest rate, even though I have very good credit. I told them I no longer wanted to go through with the deal based on them not following through with their promises, and I just wanted my money back. Darren told me that was not a problem, and he would send an email to initiate the refund of my deposit. The next day, he texted me to let me know that my unit was magically in transport after over a month, and they could not refund my money. I would absolutely steer clear of this place. Even their management is no help. I have contacted corporate in hopes that something can be done so these people don't get to keep $1,000 of my hard earned money for doing nothing except lie and break promises. Camping World in Breaux Bridge is an absolute joke. We purchased a used RV from them in December, used it once in March and has been in the shop ever since. Yes, you read this correctly, ever since March 9 (6 months). Apparently the "distribution center" was out of stock on the parts in the beginning and then "sent the wrong parts" too many times to count. It's almost impossible to get anyone to call you back and they have zero since of urgency. Before you buy there or bring anything to them to be repaired, make the right decision and go across the interstate to Great American RV. The only reason I am not giving 0 stars is because this won't allow me to. Where do I start..: DO NOT BUY A CAMPER FROM THEM!! First off they lie, they scam and they false advertise. My husband I decided we would buy a camper from them and found one we loved. Fast forward red flag number one , earnest money for a RV. I have bought many of RV and cars and never ever have I had to give earnest money. finally after making the manger send me an email stating he would not keep my money if we did not come to a deal I sent this money. we had already had a loan through my credit union and was sure we wanted the camper but they insisted they could get a better rate. Red flag 2. The financial manager talked to me like I was an idiot and gave me a 30 minute spill on why I needed to finance with them and it was very odd and sketchy. Finally I told him we were going to use our credit agency and he started trying to add $1,000's of dollars and stated the buyers order they gave us was only for those that finance through them. I hung up on him only for them to call my husband to tell him they would honor the buyers order. Last straw. My husband takes off work to drag our camper 2 hours to the lot had a appt at 10 to make the trade. Our bank had already sent them the money the paperwork was signed . When my husband gets there they pull our camper to the back do a walk through say everything is good. They leave him waiting for 2 hours not talking to him. He is going through the new camper that is plugged up making sure everything is working . He notices it is hot in there. That is when he realizes the second air conditioner is not in the fifth wheel at the bedroom. So it is hot in the camper and especially hot in the fifth wheel part. They tell him it doesn't have one due to Covid but we could pay to have one put in. Like what??? Then to top it off they then tell my husband what the told us they would give us for our camper they would now give us $7000 less. When my husband asked why they would not tell him what was wrong with it just that they would have to fix stuff to sell it. There is nothing wrong with it we just wanted a bigger camper. He asked them multiple times what they had to fix and they would not tell him. He finally just told them give his camper back and he left. I had to call my bank and awaiting them to wire the funds back to my bank and after reading These reviews I am scared to death. Luckily my bank was very understanding and will just reverse the loan once they get that back. we definitely have a law suit that we could file for lost wages , false advertising, breach Of contract I am told by my family friend that is a lawyer. Also at this time the camper is under my name so if they try to sell it without wiring the money that would be bad on them. It is a hot mess. My gut told me they were sketchy and the way they were pressuring me to finance with them they are getting some kind of kick back for getting people financed. Looks like reading the reviews others have experienced the same thing. Since we chose not to they were trying to find another way to make that money up. I'm sure they didn't expect my husband to tell them to shove it .who sells a camper that is suppose to have two air units with just one and tell you you have to pay $6000 to have the other one installed That is suppose to be there. scam artists that is who. knowing they took it out so they could get you to pay to put it back in. I purchased a camper they delayed the date because they were understaffed I get there to pick it up at 4:30 PM the second schedule date and they just tell me now that I need full coverage not liability I was unable to obtain full coverage within 30 minutes so we had to delay picking up the camper yet again next day we go pick it up the battery's dead so they jump it and I tell them no I need a new battery because I don't want to be stuck somewhere they tell me to hold on as if they haven't waisted enough of my time. a few days later I go to buy two more campers one of them is missing the butane covers the other all four tires are 35 psi under the recommended psi so i drive the camper back around back and then they tell me only workers are supposed to drive back there do too insurance purposes and then proceed to keep allowing me to drive in the back and then take 30 min to let me out of the gate i had to go multiple times to the workers to let me out and then they tell me the gate is automatic and to just drive up too it so it took them about an hour to fix everything and they wouldn't give me any type of compensation for all the delays they wouldn't even give me a pin too lock the trailer tongue they said the campers dont come with pins so I bought three campers from there and they wouldn't even give me an inexpensive pin i am extremely disgusted with the service i went in and someone asked me if i was buying a camper i replied i already did and they told me i was in for a s*** show and oh were they right. the sales men show no respect and use profanity. also when one sales men took me to look at a camper the crew that was "working" were laying on the ground and the manger asks them if the truck is ready the owner is there to pick it up and they replied no it will be another hour. and then just to look at the camper we had to wait for a forklift driver to come and open up the slide. so if they say the camper is "ready to go" that means they parked it out side and are waiting for you to tell them everything that is wrong with the camper and it will take one too two hours for them to get it ready read more
