Need the zero star button. I am giving up on consignment and picking my camper up. It was parked at an angle like a severe angle in their back dirt lot the whole time it was here big surprise it didn't sell. Because of that, I made them open the slide and proved that it worked and saw that there is finish damage from where the closed slide rubbed against the furniture on the other side of the wall The stairs would not come down. one of their employees must've ripped off the little handle that helps you put the stairs down because it was jammed in there from how they parked it. Also, the mechanism that makes the upper bunk come down is not working. The manager on duty is currently calling "upper management" to see if they will make it right. read more

Beware buying any used RV here. Salesman promised that the airstream I purchased would be completely gone through and checked prior to pick up as well as detailed. What I discovered after delivery was a whole different story. A/C drain clogged, converter no good, batteries shot, latches not fixed, improper coating used on roof and the exterior was most certainly not "detailed". While this sale was an "as is" sales. Someone's word still means something to me and when not kept, they get one star. read more

Purchased a RV trailer on 9 Jan 2026, during the walk around was told the unit was camera ready, even had a sign on it that stated camera ready. I went to install a camera and it was not camera ready. There was a curve of wire in the opening , no visible end. I pulled on it and it did not move. Called CW they referred me to the service dept, wanted me to pay the mobile tech to come out or drive the unit 1 hr to a CW location for them to check it. Poor service - no responsibility taken. I should have realized they were a terrible company when, after the sale was finalized, the sales person just dropped us, moved on to the next sucker - we had to find someone to get the trailer hooked up, no information on if we were done, not even a good bye. Will not buy from them again! read more

On June 7, 2025, we found a camper to purchase here. There were some concerns (a/c cold enough, fridge and freezer working properly, mold on seals, no water leaks, all electrical working, etc.) that our sales person assured us would be taken care of. Once we made our selection, the sales person said the unit would be detailed inside and out and plugged in for a walk-through while we signed paperwork. It was over 4 hours later by the time we were taken outside to see the unit. Nothing, and I mean nothing was done other than it was plugged in to electric. The tech that was supposed to do our walk-through just followed us around as we asked questions. We had to ask for the water to be hooked up to check for leaks. We asked to check the stove but he didn't have a lighter! We do not have a tow vehicle, so we were leaving the unit there for 3 weeks until we could take delivery. We spoke to our sales person again about our concerns, and once again we were assurred everything would be done when we planned to return the day before delivery. On June 26, 2025, the sales person called us to confirm when we were coming and when the unit would be picked up. We reiterated that the unit was to be detailed inside and out, seals to be cleaned, unit to be plugged in for 24 hours before we arrived so we could check the a/c and refrigerator. Our sales person told us it would be done when we arrived on June 28, 2025. We told him again, that we would have 30-60 minutes to do the walk-through as we were moving from the west coast of Florida to the east coast on the 28th, and would have groceries on ice in our car in 90° heat. Told him we'd be there between 9-10 a.m. We arrived at 9:50 a.m., and NOTHING had been done! The sales person said it had been plugged in the day before but someone must have unplugged it. When I asked why he hadn't checked that the unit was taken care of for us, he said he was too busy. Then he suggested we drive the 2-4 hours (I4, IYKYK), one way to our new home, drive back to them, because now it would be done, then drive home again! OR, we could sit around for hours and wait again! We said absolutely not. He spoke to a sales manager at this point trying to figure something out. The sales manger wouldn't even come out of their office to speak to us. Then we get taken into Vivianna's office. We think she's the coordinator between sales and the technicians and cleaners. At this point, we walked the unit listing everything that was to be done including the new promised mattress and propane cover plus all the other stuff. She promised photos later in the day via email of the temperatures in the fridge and freezer. One of the technicians outside with us at this point, showed us a small spot he had cleaned on the molding, telling us that was as good as he would be able to do around all the windows. We said that was fine. We actually had a good walk-through with Junior. After being promised over and over again that the unit would arrive to us as agreed, we left. But before we did, our sales person shook our hand, and tried to hug us! Completely unprofessional. By closing time the refrigerator had apparently not reached the correct temperature, but they figured it would by morning. Our sales person stated the outside had been done, looked perfect, and the inside was being worked on. Vivianna said she'd check first thing at 11 when they opened, or earlier if she could. Our delivery driver showed up at 11 a.m. He said the outside of the rv looked good, but the inside did not appear to have been touched! He was ready to hookup and leave when we stopped him. At 11:30, we called Vivianna who had just arrived, the receptionist stated and needed a minute to settle in, but would call me back. At 12:19, she called. The unit was being cleaned inside as we spoke. The refrigerator still wasn't cold enough. She finally got a manager to call back with her to talk to us. All we ever wanted was for them to do what they said they would do! They ended up delaying delivery all day as now they needed to put another refrigerator in. We finally received our unit that evening. The rv door and handle were full of grease. The molding had not been cleaned. There were spider webs inside. The windows blinds were filthy. No refrigerator manual. And the Awning hadn't been cleaned. I spoke to Vivianna, who emailed me the manual. I sent her photos of everything they promised would be taken care of that wasn't. Crickets. I will say also that the sweethearts and sweeties I kept being called is also extremely unprofessional. We will never use nor recommend this place to anyone. i Have purchased 2 travel trailers from them in the past 4 years. The first was fine, probably because everything on the trailer was good, and everything worked. In the second deal, I had the dinette table and benches replaced by lounge chairs. After my first trip with the camper I found the lounge chairs had moved because they were not fastened to the camper. The fix they proposed was to put a travel strap around the chairs. i feel that it should have duplicated the factory installed chair, and fastened them to the camper. I am not a happy camper because of what I think is an unprofessional solution to an unprofessional installation. I have already emailed Marcus about this. Why won't the GM of the Dover store respond? He has the authority to fix this. If he doesn't respond, I will assume he doesn't want to fix it to my satisfaction. read more

The sale was great. The service has been terrible. We bought a 2025 Keystone Cougar Hero Addition. We paid cast money and bought 15 years worth of warranty with this rig. We brought it in to have assessments done so they could schedule the repairs. We bring it back to have repairs done and not all the issues were fixed. We had been working with Melinda who went on leave to have a baby. We get Jerry involved and we bring the rig back in for more assessments to be done, we've been waiting on someone to call us and schedule us to bring it in, so we call to find out they marked the work as done when it has not been done. We called Keystone directly and they said we may want to try FT. Myers Camping World. Ft. Myers Camping World said sense we bought it in Dover and they "started" the claims that it is best that we keep going there. We purchased our new Travel Trailer here and the experience was wonderful. From our salesperson, Luis, to our financial team, Christina (who went so above and beyond) and Maria and Joe - fill in person from SC, to the service tech, John --- we feel we were treated wonderfully - fair and honest. We haggled, they haggled, they said we won, we said they won - typical and might I say, old fashioned deal making with respect / honoring their word / us both compromising. They did not want to lose a sale and we wanted the trailer we wanted, at a price we could afford. We came to an agreement and my husband and I left feeling that we made a wonderful choice in the camper as well as the place we bought it from. It should also be noted that we did not trade our old travel trailer in with the deal / it would not work. We have been Good Sam members for a long time and have been to a number of Camping World facilities over the years, some good, some, ... We recently decided to downsize our RV and noted the two particular models we were looking at were in stock at the Dover store. (3 hours from our home). We had recently had a less than stellar experience at another store and truthfully, weren't expecting too much. We were wrong. The receptionist was very good and introduced us to Katelyn, one of the sales reps. Wow, what a refreshing experience. From the moment she introduced herself until we took delivery she made us feel great. She genuinely listened and answered all of our questions. She has a very good knowledge of the products and fully explained things to us. This is not our first RV, in fact it's our fifth, but his was the best experience we have had. Katelyn is perhaps the best sales person we have had. Knowledgeable, attentive, polite and has a great ability to make you feel comfortable. I know every large business has its issues however, people like Katelyn and the rest of the staff who helped us at the Dover, FL store should serve as an example of how things can work. read more

I purchased my RV at the Supershow on January 15th and took delivery on January 23rd. I didn't receive my permanent tag and registration until April 22nd! Since Florida doesn't permit temporary registration for more than 60 days, I was unable to drive my brand new $70,000 RV for a month. I was particularly disappointed that I couldn't enjoy my new camper in early April on a long-planned trip to New England...the motivation for purchasing my RV IN JANUARY! Also, I was repeatedly told that there would be no penalty for paying the RV loan off early. The bank through which Camping World arranged the loan says there is a fee for early pay off. read more

We have been so stressed out after spending $1500 to have AC repaired and leak under bathroom sink fixed only for the converter to go out after a week and while out camping and to find the leak wasn't even touched. We had to call a mobile service to come out and pay another $1500 to have just the converter repaired. We will be in next week to have you repair the rest correctly and reimburse for the converter you clearly didn't fix either. So disappointed. read more

After reading the reviews here, there's no doubt there are lots of experiences that fell far short of the reviewer's expectations and it seems most are related to the sells department or service. Fortunately for me I wasn't here to purchase an RV or get any repairs done so my experience was quite the opposite of most and it seems my expectations were somewhat lower as well since I didn't come here with any issues that has caused me emotional stress. I came here to shop and learn about what I need to make my RV'ing experience a position one and too avoid as many mistakes as possible. After walking around the store for quite sometime unassisted I ran into a lovely lady that represents the Walex line of products and she helped with the different types and the correct usage of the chemicals for the variety of water treatment systems needed when your RV'ing, she then introduced me to her husband Willy who I quickly partnered up with to get quite the education. Willy answered any questions I had and assisted me through the entire process of figuring out everything I needed to set my RV up correctly while hopefully avoiding some of the many rookie mistakes I may have made without him. Using his many years of practical hands on experience Willy gave me options and advice on what I needed and also the reasons why I needed them or didn't need them, along with some history lessons he's learned over the years. He vast experience really helped settle down any anxiety I was having and helped ensure I understood the many things on the operation and care of my new RV, although I know there are many things I still need to learn I now feel confident in the process of figuring things out and what to consider. As much as I thought setting up my RV was about making things easy and comfortable for me it's really about protecting my investment and avoiding costly mistakes. I think it's possible to find that here and as far as pricing goes well I guess you get what you pay for, putting my hands on it and understanding what I'm purchasing is as important to me at this stage as are the cost of those items. I'm sure once I figure it all out online purchasing will save me a few bucks but for now I think being surrounded by people that are doing the same thing you're doing or wanting to do is just as important. and if you're wondering if that Good Sam Membership is worth it, my purchases added up to $580.00 I paid $498.00... read more

I bought my RV from camping world last May. To make a long story shorter, we bought the RV under false pretenses, and actually had to fight with them for some modifications after the sale which already left a bad taste in our mouth. In the end, they took care of it so can't be too upset. I summed it up to probably an employee who just didn't know all of his stuff, and maybe just a poorly run location. Fast forward one year, I needed to get some warranty work done on it and took it to a new location. Needless to say the process has been horrendous. I have had to pickup/drop off my RV 3 times in the last 3 weeks because of incompetence by the service team. They forgot to file a whole list of warranty items with the manufacturer, and I keep having to bring it back in because they can only have RV's on the lot which have "approved" warranty work (kinda hard to approve something if you never filed for it). Along with this, the service advisor I am dealing with, Mina, is extremely short, rude, and clearly is not representing camping world in a great light. My point in posting this is to warn people about this place. You are better off buying from anywhere else with more reasonable corporate policies/employees. I don't expect a red carpet treatment, but I do expect to be treated like a customer. Don't buy the fake bill of goods they sell you upfront about all of the benefits. There are none. read more

When we were looking to buy an RV or motor home, customer service was top notch! Excellent salesperson (Mark), knowledgeable, efficient, etc. As soon as we decided what we wanted and started the purchase process, we noticed some changes. Not with our salesperson, Mark. He was steady, true to his word and reliable, through and through!! When we went to make the purchase, a Regional Manager was present, so we worked out a good deal thanks to her input and approval. No issues there. But the day we did the walk through hoping to take possession of the motor home, was another story. 1) There was an issue with the refrigerator handle. Couldn't even open the door and it was already broken (the handle not the door). After speaking with salesperson, it seemed it was a previously known issue, they knew upon delivery to the location, but were planning to sell it that way anyway? They said a replacement part was "on order", they couldn't say when it would come in and we would have to bring the motor home back to have it installed or pay for mobile repair at our home. Um, no. It's your issue, you make it right! Requested they either fix it BEFORE we take possession of the motor home, or they incur the cost of mobile service to come to our home to repair it. Eventually they replaced the whole refrigerator door and it functioned fully. 2) Shower curtain doesn't fit the space. They were willing to sell it as is and suggest we replace it with one that fits better. No, you order the right size and replace it. Supposedly it was "on order". Who knows! 3) Doors for bathroom didn't shut correctly on initial review of motor home. Supposedly they "fixed" it for our pickup date but the door still didn't align. Yes, there were now magnets on the top to keep the door closed but the door itself wasn't flush - appeared warped. Requested that be fixed. But again, why would that be OK to release the vehicle with the door like that? No customer service once you say you'll take it! This turned out to be a greater issue, never resolved! 4) We were sitting to the side, at a table waiting for the finance person. I kept hearing a video game sound. Couldn't' imagine where it was coming from, thought someone's kid must be playing on an iPad or something. Well, it was one of the employees (turns out he may have been a buyer?) in his little cubicle area playing a casino style slots game on his computer - WITH THE VOLUME UP LOUD! In what workplace is that acceptable or considered professional? Even if he didn't have any customers, there were customers present in the area! 5) Back to #3 - Turns out the wall surrounding the bathroom, internally, needed to be replaced! So, we escaped a near fiasco by noticing the bathroom doors didn't align as it was a much bigger problem. Told us 6-8 weeks and they WOULD come to us to make the repair. While we still negotiated, the general manager finally said he wouldn't negotiate any further because we would just be back in for service all the time; said it never should have been presented in the condition it was. Well, we declined the whole offer. At this point we had no faith the work would ever get done, didn't want to buy a defective (off the manufacturer's floor) motorhome and frankly, no longer trusted their word or had faith in their integrity. We believe this issue was known and they were willing to sell it as is! In summary, excellent salesperson! Mark Sailor was beyond reproach through the entire process. The gentleman ("General" I believe he is called) who walked us through and explained how everything worked was great. Corporate culture fell short and the professional demeanor and environment you would want and expect just wasn't there. Having now shopped at other dealers, the difference in professionalism and identity of corporate culture is quite remarkable. I believe Marcus Lemonis (owner of Camping World) would be shocked by these events and the culture! Calling the "800" number to reach Camping World/Marcus Lemonis results in a recording stating the hours the "Customer Engagement Center" was available, but you couldn't leave a message. So, Marcus, if you're reading this, get your ducks in a row!! read more

Do not ever buy a camper from Camping world in Tampa WORST CAMPING WORLD LOCATION!!!! All liars and low class people. Teresa in service never calls you back ever, orders the wrong parts. Takes 2 months to fix anything. Service manger is clueless to what is going on. Just one issue after another with this place. The best part is I picked up my Trailer and they must of gotten a screw in my tire while it was there and did not tell me!!! So they decided to patch it and lie about it!!!! They claim they do not patch tires. Look at the pictures and see for yourself. They patched the tire and did not tell me. I had been looking forward to using my trailer since I have only used it one time since I got it there. It was completely FLAT!!! The rest of the time it has been in service for a bunch of issues. I had someone verify and the tire was patched and that is extremely unsafe for Trailer Tires.The tire could of exploded and caused the trailer to flip!!! They will not admit they patched it. NEVER GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE LIED TOO AND HAVE AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Chris the GM is a big fat liar too!!!!! They know if they would admit they patched it they would be in serious trouble!!!!
