No longer skeptical…read more I've been going to the gym and following a health lifestyle for several years now and haven't been able to break a plateau no mater what I tried with diet and exercise. Adjustments would often cause me to gain weight and it's been really frustrating. Just over six weeks ago I started the HCG diet with Weighless and I've lost over 21 lbs. Many would say that that of course you will loose weight by eating less. If you look at the math of food, exercise and standard TDE, for me, I should have a max of 15 lbs. Before I did the diet I was always felt hungry. While on the diet it was even hard to eat the allotted calories. I took the prenatal fitness class as I'm fairly active but wanted to incorporate exercises that would help strengthen muscle groups for labor but also postpartum. My fatigue busted my butt in the first trimester and if anything, it held me accountable to get up and go to the class. Lastly, I think it was so nice to talk about your week regarding concerns whether it be health, labor experience, work, baby, and most importantly without judgement. I believe this to be a great option for both new and experienced mamas and one to keep on the radar.

I have also had a couple experiences that have helped me to learn what truly makes those outstanding gyms different. I've only been at Evolution Fitness (functional fitness training) for 3 months, and the owner and staff exude excellence in all they do, personally and professionally. They model qualities and share knowledge that help me to be a little better person each day in all areas of my life. THEY invest in US!! It is not just a job. You can tell. Besides the above (I love love love the staff), this is what makes Evolution Fitness different from the other functional fitness type gyms in Milwaukee, and I have tried many of them: (1) the coaches have an ongoing personal relationship with each member of the gym and seem genuinely interested in my goals and growth (2) low athlete to coach ratio (very rare in Milwaukee, more common in Ohio where I am originally from) (3) a community that is not divided into cliques by skill level so everyone is connected (4) personal attention from the coaches when you have a question or need some help. The personal aspect is so important to me in terms of me being able to maintain a high level of motivation so I come regularly and train hard! Coaches get me excited to train, ensure I am growing in my movement quality, and push me in my workouts. I have felt no judgment or micromanaging. The owner truly believes that fitness should be the best hour of the day. Oh and he loves that the community often comes early and stays late because we are tight! Even being new, I am fully integrated and feel well supported by members and staff. The owner is incredibly positive and seems to have hired coaches with a positive and generous style of coaching as well. So AMAZING! I just cannot say enough positive about this gym. I was so lucky to have heard about it. You can even train outside of class times if your schedule does not allow you to get to regularly scheduled classes. I have finally gotten settled in my life in Milwaukee. No more moving around the country. And the search was long but I also found the gym I will not move from. There were only a few times the pressure seemed a bit high, but I was okay with it and didn't ask to change the level. The room was nice and clean and the table was comfortable. The only difference for me from other places was the room stayed brightly lit the whole time, but maybe it's harder to dim with the external windows. Wasn't a big deal for me, but some people may not like that. The pricing is very competitive and they also offer deals on 3 and 6 massage packages.
