Campomar absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we sat down, everything flowed seamlessly--warm, attentive service, a beautiful restaurant, and food that truly impressed at every turn. We started with oysters, which were incredibly fresh and clean-tasting, followed by the tuna carpaccio--delicate, perfectly balanced, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The aguachile had just the right kick, bright and refreshing, and the pulpo was hands-down one of the best I've had: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We paired everything with a couple of cold beers, and honestly, the freshness of the seafood stole the show. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in quality--from the ingredients to the presentation to the service. The atmosphere is beautiful and elevated without feeling stuffy, making it perfect for both a special night out or a relaxed but memorable meal. I wanted to go back again during our trip, but they were fully booked--which says everything you need to know. Somewhat of a mixed experience. They offer valet parking out front for 50 pesos. Upon reaching the entrance, they will offer you a complimentary coconut water freshly cut. Once sat down, they also provide complimentary bread, which was good but similar to a dinner roll with better presentation. Service started off well with our waiter being really attentive, but once we placed the order, we didn't see him again after that, which was a bit puzzling. The staff was friendly overall and will often interact with the kids to make them laugh. In term of food, the octopus was a little bit mushy, but the shrimp was done well. Coconut shrmp had a nice crunch and the seafood pasta was solid, but not particularly outstanding. It was a good experience, but I think you are paying more for the ambiance than the food.
The Food and Service was excellent. The waiter was very friendly and did an excellent job serving us. The ambiance was great but unfortunately they close early @ 6PM

Heard good things about this place so decided to check it out. We really liked it everything tasted super fresh. I would come again. Free minu beer bottles while you wait your turn. Todo buen fresco y bueno. Porciones grandes. Te dan mini cervesas gratis mientras esperas tu turno.
Great food, great ambience and the staff is so attentive and informative of the menu. The food was delicious and it's not bad pricing for someone who's going from the United States.
The service was great and the food was delicious, we had a variety of seafood and it was really good. I also really enjoyed the cocktails. Our server was so sweet and made our dinner experience very enjoyable. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the bathrooms were cute. Wish I could have tried more options.
We visited Zapopan last week and came across this restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away and had waiters at our table as soon as we sat down. The shrimp consomé starter was amazing! I ordered the Moscow mule and it was delicious and for my meal I ordered the pulpo and camarón al mojo de ajo and my husband and I loved it. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in Zapopan.
Zarandeado, zarandeado and zarandeado. You have to try fish, shrimp, octopus and every single plate zarandeado. Mmmmmm delicious and the team is very attentive. Expect to wait since it's a very popular place. Can't wait to go back.

Wow this place was really good. We had it ALL. Tuna tostadas, whole fried fish, oysters, seafood pizza, garlic shrimp, carnitas de shrimp, French fries, cheese pizza and cilantro shrimp. It was all so good. We waited about 15 minutes for our table. It was nice they had 2 juices we could choose from while we waited. Service is on another level. The level being perfect. read more

This place is excellent if your looking for fresh sea food, they have fresh Oysters, Clams, Lobster and much more. For those that don't like sea food they do offer Rib eye and porter house steaks along other non seafood munchies. The environment is awesome-service is 5+ stars. I can't wait when I'm back in the area to visit them again. read more

Seafood is fresh and we'll prepared. The Chicharron de Pescado is delicate in the middle and crispy on the outside. My favorite is the pulpo made in various manners. Check the display of seafood at the entrance and choose your main dish. Always crowded, but worth the wait. read more

Came with the family to try this delicious seafood! Super fresh seafood and very delicious! I highly recommend very classy, super clean, tables, restaurant, and restrooms! Really good service! Will return back in my next vacation! Thank you guys for this amazing experience! read more

my octopus came carbonized .. left a bad taste in my mouth .. literally .. both restaurant and octopus .. poor service . this place has quickly and prematurely become overrated. frankly, besides my octopus being carbonized, everything else was a tad less than mediocre compared to eateries in the area .. makes you wonder what makes this place popular ... and what kind of people go there . and NOT cheap .. for that matter, super expensive for the quality and texture of food and cooking they serve you .. will not return . read more
