I also appreciated his explanations about what was wrong with my dryer and what can be done to prevent such things from happening again. I also had another technician from this same company come last month or so to replace my washer's inlet hose. I can't remember his name but he was also very knowledgeable and efficient when it came to repairing my washing machine. He was able to diagnose my washing machine problem right away when another company I called couldn't. He came back another day as promised with the parts and fixed my washing machine within 1-2 hours as well. Now my washing machine works good as new without having to buy a new one. Had an excellent experience with Taras who fixed an uncommon problem on our electric range. He was able to quickly get everything working like new again. While fixing the problem he pointed out another area that looked like it may turn into an issue in the future and did some preventative work (at no extra charge) which was greatly appreciated. What I really like was that he responded to my initial email with more than "call me to schedule an appointment". I sent a description and a picture of the problem, he confirmed that he had seen the problem before and would be able to fix it. I'm terrible at describing things over the phone so the fact that he took the time to respond this way gave me a good feeling there wouldn't be any surprises and made hiring him for the job an easy decision. When my fridge started to act up, I looked online for a repair service. I contacted the first on my list (in no particular order). But (after 3 attempts) they never did get back to me. -- Next on my list was Canada Appliance Repair. I lucked out! I spoke with Taras & set up an appointment for (a 2-hour window) the next day (which he immediately confirmed by text). Taras was on time & quickly diagnosed the problem. The fan was no longer working. We set up an appointment for the next day (a Sat.) & Taras replaced the fan. And, Bob's your uncle! -- I also had to replace the bottom panel in my oven. I had the replacement panel but was uncomfortable installing it myself. I asked Taras to do it while he was there. He did so at no extra charge. 5 stars to Canada Appliance Repair services! We had a problem with control panel button on Miele kitchen ventilation hood (Miele should be shame by using cheap plastic parts). It was not a major issue but it had to be fixed. The story was short - we called Canada Appliance Repair at noon time, booked a 4 hours time slot for the same evening and had everything fixed. The standard process in our case would involved the order a spare part (God only knows how much it would cost), waiting time and another visit of technician. That scenario would cost us more and the process would take much longer. After the problem was determine, Taras proposed to us a simple "outside of the box" solution, fix the issue and gave us some recommendation on how to use the appliance. My Samsung dryer needed to be looked at so we went with this company based on a referral from a friend. Everything was great! Service was amazing, our washer/dryer unit is difficult to access but the repairman did everything in his power to get the unit out of its built in closet without having to dismantle anything. It took a lot longer than he had expected but the job is done and my dryer is working again. The heating element needed to be replaced. He had all of the parts and tools ready to go so we were able to get everything fixed up and done with in one day, which makes me very happy. Amazing service! I have a Bloomberg washing machine that broke down couple weeks ago. My whirlpool front loader was making a lot of noise. I contacted Taras the night before, and they dispatched Roi to take a look at it the very next day. After taking the outside panels apart and diagnosing the washer. He showed me that it was the bearings That worn out and it would be cheaper to replace the washer.
