We ordered a fridge from CAS with a delivery date of January 6, 2021. We had planned to move our cars out of the driveway that morning to allow for an easier delivery of the fridge into the house. We also had a snow covered path (as it is January!) running beside the driveway that for the record we have used to deliver other appliances into the house ourselves. The truck and delivery team arrived 15 minutes earlier than we were told it would and we hadn't yet moved the vehicles. When the individual navigating the delivery for CAS came to the door, he told us that there wasn't an accessible path and that he would need to talk to his driver and then he would come back to talk to us. Instead, the gentleman takes photos of our property and leaves. No further conversation, no suggestions, no discussions or opportunity for us to offer to move the cars. Phone calls to CAS after this event were met with no acknowledgement of how inappropriate and unprofessional this interaction was. Instead, we were required to wait 2 more days and pay an additional fee to have the fridge re-delivered. When the fridge was re-delivered by a different team on the Friday and I alerted the gentleman navigating this delivery to what transpired two days prior he was shocked and told me that never should have happened. He called his manager on his own accord and literally said "there is nothing inaccessible about this property." Despite a follow-up phone call to CAS to re-iterate what had happened and what their own delivery team had said, they denied our request to refund the re-delivery fee. In the interest of being a fair review. Working with our sales associated (prior to this) was a positive experience, but ultimately really displeased with how CAS handled this situation. We won't be ordering from them in the future and wouldn't recommend others do either unless you are wanting to pay extra and wait longer for your appliances. read more

Horrible experience, got ripped off and lied to by the salesman Harmeet Singh. Ordered a product that was on the floor and didn't have the features Harmeet stated it would. Customer service was horrible to deal with and when I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there are none. Very shady place, prices aren't anything special so save your self a headache and go somewhere else. read more

I have previously used CAS to purchase appliances and have recommended them to friends and neighbours. That has changed. I needed a new dishwasher and called CAS to go over options and got Harmeet Singh who answered my questions and seemed incredibly knowledgeable. I moved forward with a purchase, including delivery, setup, and extended warranty. I chose a delivery date based on my availability with work and to coincide with some electrical work I needed to have done between the time the dishwasher arrived and the install team arrived. The work was recommended (helpful!) and I even purchased an additional component needed to complete it. The window I got was a fairly large 7am-12pm window. Great. The night before, I get a note the delivery was scheduled outside the window, with no one home, and outside of the availability of the electrician booked. I replied immediately and was given a "too bad, the time you get is what you get, take it or leave it response". I decided to leave it. The following day, nothing from Harmeet. Zero acknowledgement or responsibility assumed. If this is the first interaction post-sale you have with a company, why would you assume anything else will go smoothly? What's even more telling is CAS sends you a "hey please review us" once they have your money but before delivery/install occurs. If you made a reservation for 7pm at a restaurant and you turned up and they told you the reservation is now 8:30pm, just because, you'd probably find somewhere else to have dinner. I recieved a dishwasher that was 2" deeper than what was posted on the website. I called customer care as soon as I got the box open (20 minutes after delivery) where I was met with a rude representative that constantly spoke over me as I was explaining the problem. I was informed that to return the mislabeled product, I must pay 25% restocking fee. This amounts roughly $250. I don't think this is how you should treat customers. If you're debating between this company and another, I would strongly recommend that you order from the other company. On Google Reviews, they tried to say that I was never charged, which is true, but only because it was an ongoing claim. read more

I'm having the same problems as other consumers. Promises made but not kept. The pricing is pretty good, but not really useful if you don't receive your ordered goods, of which you paid 50% at time of order. Ordered a washer dryer set and was told the dryer would take a couple of weeks. Not a big deal as the old dryer was still functional, just not firmly attached. The day they told me was approaching and that date got extended. No communication at all. Just checked again and now it's been extended again. Two months to get a dryer is ridiculous. Again, no contact even though I reached out to try and get this resolved. read more

Where to even begin. My mom ordered the whole nine yards - a microwave, stove, fridge and dishwasher from Canadian Appliance Source on August 19th - to be delivered October 13th to her new home and have them take away the appliances she no longer needed. Well, what a mess. Not only were they not ready after having almost 2 months notice, but they didn't have the fridge that she ordered. She waited an extra week to have everything delivered at once (not by her choice) and they showed up with no fridge. The delivery company has had it with CAS. Called them out for never having product, being back logged and blaming everything on the drivers. When my mom called to ask where her fridge was and ask why they didn't take away her old appliances CAS blamed the drivers. Just like the delivery company said they would. Furhan didn't even bother getting back to my mom when she called him that day, my mom had to call them AGAIN the following day to follow up. Then I called. I had to step in because they were treating my mom like an idiot. They answered the phone by saying "Yes, Shannon" not very professional. I would not recommend, would not buy again and would definitely try and defer anyone of my friends or family from shopping here. They have poor work ethic and seem to make you go in circles when trying to get what should be simple answers to simple questions. Great prices, however, take their prices to Lowe's - they'll match their price and give you an additional 10% off and would be a lot smoother of a transaction. A big thumbs down. This may be the possibly worst business, for scamming, providing dented crappy appliances, or just plain not having what there website says they have and that you can pick up next day. I ordered a washer, went to pick it up next day and was told they don't have it in stock, and that not only was it on back order 1 to 3 weeks, that I could cancel but they would charge me 25% restocking fee for a product that they didn't have to restock. Came Santino, the salesman and a SALESMAN he is, has me change and get a new one on that threat and when it gets here it is dented. Then when I ca him days later, Vivek hangs up N me, and Carm can't remember who I am. The Worst store ever DO NOT BUY here. If that was not bad enough there was already two people screaming in the store about there service, delayed appliances and just poor all around customer service. This place should be reported to better business bureau for being a scam, and fire there employees that lack customer service. read more

Worst customer service of any appliance store I have ever done business with. Do yourself a favour and deal with Goemans or TA appliance. CAS will say anything to get you to buy and then the crap show starts. Cancel and wait forever to get a credit. Ask you sales person for help and may as well shoot your self in the head. So still trying to get a credit. They bill you full pop and give you false delivery dates and if you try to cancel and get your money back well hold on too your hat it's another crap show. I just don't trust this place. So finally got the credit card credits. I think the sales people here are good but they should look for a different place to work. Canadian Appliance Source has been an absolute nightmare. Do not order from this company! Our salesperson Kirk was very slick on the phone but did not follow up on any of his promises. Delivery was scheduled for the afternoon and ended up comibg at 8:30 AM. After cancelling and rescheduling the same thing happnened again. I had to take a morning off work. The delivery company made a mess of the house, did not cover shoes and left mud and snow everywhere. After looking at the new $4000 Forno stove it had a big dent in the side, no handle on the front and door hinges don't work properly. Now I had to contact the service company for repairs. They said they may have new parts to fix it in April, 5 months after delivery. We have called and emailed to speak to a manager and they don't call back or even return our emails. I purchased a $1000 stove exhaust hood from Canadian Appliance Source in late December and scheduled an electrician to install it in January. It is now March and I sincerely regret the purchase. I picked it up from the store and trusted the warehouse rep who said the tape on the box had just come loose. When I checked it at home I found scratched stainless steel on two areas and places where plastic protective film had been cut away. Clearly not a sealed box. I reported it and filled out forms as required. I waited for promised replacement parts. After initial delay, I was reassured they would be delivered to me by mid February. That date passed.I requested to return the exhaust hood so that I could purchase somewhere else but I was told that wasn't possible and that was out of their control. CAS passed me on to the manufacturer and gave me their number. Manufacturer cannot give me a date for delivery of the parts and now it is blamed on Covid 19. I was transferred to a technical person to see if I could safely go ahead and install hood and replace defective parts later and got voice mail. Left a message but no reply after 2 business days. I had hoped to wait until I had a resolution to provide a more positive review of Canadian Appliance Source using link provided by salesperson however link is now inactive. Now all I have to show for my $1000 is a box of parts. I am beyond frustrated and will never shop there again. read more

I purchased a range from CAS in February and was told by the salesperson in an email that it had been expedited and would arrive by March 21st, that date came and went and every two weeks they would provide a new ETA. At the end of April they then bypassed May and posted the ETA as June 3rd, I now cannot reach the salesperson as it seems they are no longer there. Herein lies my frustration, I received an email on Thursday stating my backordered item was enroute to the CAS warehouse and the confirmed arrival date is May 27th. I then call the store because I was told I would not have to pay for the delivery and thankfully I got it in writing but the frustration is they are telling me I cannot book a delivery until June 10th. I am beyond done with this company as the customer service cannot explain to me why I have to wait an additional two weeks before I can book a delivery. Customer Service then says she will get a salesperson to contact me (probably the same salesperson who couldn't answer my question in the first place and transferred me to customer service). I have never dealt with such incompetence especially when buying big ticket items, I would warn everyone not to go here to purchase appliances as the staff turnover is crazy and the staff that is present cannot give a straight answer, they will happily take your money but their follow up is non existent.
