Once event planning got underway, I soon realised that I did not have the time, skills, or equipment to run a proper hybrid event. I reached out to Yes Audio Visual asking if they could do A/V for a hybrid memorial service. James Haldane, the company owner, got back to me promptly, and affirmed that they do cover such events. Also, because memorial services are sensitive by nature, James himself took on the A/V for the event (rather than send an employee), just to ensure that everything was done with sensitivity and to minimize any mishaps. He was very professional, met me at the venue ahead of time to assess the capabilities of the venue, layout, internet, etc. He planned everything carefully ahead of time, and also came early on the day-off to do proper setup, testing, etc. Afterwards, I was supplied with a video recording of the event. A Zoom meeting video was also supplied, since the online component was webcast via Zoom. I highly recommend Yes Audio Visual and would gladly use them again.
