I was able to find a great puzzle for my mom, a family game, novelty socks, swishmallow, and a nail polish set. All for under $40, I was very it impressed. One of the coolest things was they had an open pathway to Homesense which is located next door. But you could walk between either store and make a purchase at one side or the other. What a great idea!

They had some good deals on items like Roxy backpacks for $29.99 (I uploaded pics) and a shoe section that beats Winners handsdown (more like shoe warehouse). I uploaded lots of pics of shoes, too - of course! The toy section and home section were pretty small but that's okay 0- that's what Winners and HomeSense are for. They offer designer handbags ranging from $200 for a clutch right up to $900 (and of course, you got it - more pics!). Overall, the store felt 50% stocked - LOTS of space between aisles and it would appear they need to double their inventory. Expect the prices and quality to be inline with Winners and definitely worth a trip to wander around but nothing to write home about. Wish I could give them 3 stars - better than average but not quite in the 4 category to me.

Almost everything there is made in China & most of their chain stores are based there as well. My in-law always seems to buy my family souvenirs from this brand whenever he goes to China. I was surprised that they've expanded to Canada so I had to pay it a visit. The store itself is small, but there is just enough room to manoeuvre a regular stroller but the aisles are tight & not in straight rows like most dollar stores. Pricing is not cheap like a dollar store, but affordable for what they offer. I would say item quality is superior than dollar store for many things. Items are also packaged very nicely & uniformly, look stylish/trendy/classy, some are also unique, and kid friendly, so it seems like your getting a good deal. I've never really had complaints about the stuff I've received from there or from what I bought. The staff are pretty friendly too & although there is very limited parking in the front, there's also parking stalls available at the back of the building too. I'd definitely come back to find some new things that 'I didn't know I needed in my life until I got there' type stuff.

The store sells some items reminiscent of a dollar store but a bit more expensive and better in quality. They sell makeup, stationary, toys, clothing accessories, lamps, selfie sticks, Bluetooth speakers and even a toaster oven for $50! I didn't check the prices on the electronics but most prices were reasonable. The store is brightly lit and well organized. It's fun to check out the different items. I bought my boyfriend a red bow tie when I came here. This is a great place to find some inexpensive gifts!

I don't know if it's the smells coming from the home decor section but it is overwhelming. Their home decor section is the area that holds my interest the most. I can quickly update the look of my home with a few toss cushions, window treatments and wall decorations without breaking the bank. They also have items that are well suited for shower and wedding gifts. I can navigate the store with a cart without a problem, but I don't understand having carpet in such a huge store. Wouldn't that be a total pain to keep clean? Anyway, they also have furniture and bedding. My sister bought her leather couch here a couple years ago and has been very happy with it. I guess their pieces are built well. A large focus of their furniture section is knotty pine. I'm not a huge fan of this style of wood. You can get a back of tea lights for a couple bucks which is a good thing because I burn through them like crazy!

It is limited to selections as compared to Ikea. Don't get me wrong though, it still has many household items, decorations, furniture, and bedding, etc. Staff is friendly and parking is moderately spacious with other stores nearby. Do look at their flyers first before coming here, you can find some good deals. Bought myself MGM Grand bedding sheets that make me feel like i'm sleeping on clouds for at least 20% off. I don't regret the purchase. Not only do they have seasonal decorations but unique stuff as well. You'd have to spend sometime looking around, most definitely you'll be coming out with one item. Recommended for anyone looking to style up their household or room. Take your time when your in here, or shop online before coming in.

I must start off by saying that my review is for the location that was in Kingsway Garden Mall which has since closed. THANK GOODNESS! I will try to keep this short as there were a lot of things that happened as a result of dealing with this incompetent company. My fiance (now husband) bought my engagement ring (which I had earlier picked out) from the store at Kingsway. He also bought the matching wedding band to go with the ring. I loved the engagement ring but the wedding ring was a surprise. After my engagement, I took the ring to the store to get it sized. BIG MISTAKE! They took a hammer to it and the back side of my ring was dented and ugly. Plus they sized my wedding band a size too small. Wouldn't that have been fun trying to fit that ring on my finger on our big day? I asked them who worked on my ring? They told me they didn't know. What jewelry company does not keep track of who works on an order? So I had to go even longer without my engagement ring so they could fix the damage they caused and re-size my wedding band. I went back and my engagement ring still looked exactly the same but they had properly re-sized my wedding band. With all of the insanity I had to look at my wedding band which was supposed to be a surprise. Surprise ruined! I told them that this is totally unacceptable and I that they had messed up my engagement ring. They told me they could try to fix it again. I said that you had two attempts at trying to re-size it properly and that I'm going to take it elsewhere and give you the bill. They agreed on that. I took it to Crowley's and had it fixed for $35. In total I was engaged for over a month and only wore my engagement ring for a week. And when you're planning a wedding in that time, you don't need to be stressed out by people who clearly have no clue as to what they are doing. I went back to Carats to give them the bill and they refused to honour our agreement. I told them I'm going to tell everyone I know not to shop at their store. They sure didn't care that the customer should come first. Months went by of trying to get this settled. I finally went to the Millwoods location and complained to the store owner. I got to pick out something in their store worth $35. They are the WORST jewelry company I have ever seen in my life. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
