(Dr Sparling and Dr Yates) I was driving to moore before this office opened. I have been to this office more times then I can count. And have seen both of the drs. I have a four year old and a 7 month old, so I have seen them quite a bit. My son loves them! They have been with us through stitches, and colds, and teething and tummy aches. They talk to my son directly which I love. The office is adorable! Has a little sitting area for adults and a few puzzles and things to play with for the kids while you wait. The rooms themselves are themed, a Disney room, jungle room, books room! I love the small town feel at this office! Always same receptionist. Same nurse. Same two drs. I would and do recommend this office if you are in the Blanchard area. It's a wonderful office, I've called them many times last minute and they have seen me same day. This will be our pediatrician until my boys are no longer kids!

The lobby is clean and and is split with separate sides for sick visits and well visits. They always have the TVs on and kids shows playing. Dr. Fricker is great. He always shows genuine concern for our son's wellbeing and has even called us after hours on his cell phone to follow up and see how our son is doing after a sick visit. The Office Manager can be a little sassy, but don't let that deter you. They also have office hours on Saturdays. If you're looking for a better alternative to your current Pediatrician, give Dr. Fricker a shot. You won't regret it.

Most of the doctors who are highly recommended are not seeing new patients except siblings of existing patients. Thank goodness for Dr Davis! She spends plenty of time with you and 8s good about answering questions and giving explorations. She is very kind. Never makes you feel like a bad parent or stupid, even if your question really is dumb. She's willing to do an alternate / delayed Vax schedule. The new office us very modern, clean, amd large. Her nurse, Nadine is not great, but has improved a lot. (Formerly rude, slow to return calls or never returned calls, and very judgemental. ) Dr. Davis' office is affiliated with Stillwater Medical Center, so all records cam be accessed at the hospital, very convenient! They take most insurance and Sooner care. No separate waiting area for sick kids. Parking lot is well lit and has large spaces.

Once we arrived they gave the kids masks and even had one for me to borrow during my time there if needed. They had a lot of paperwork to fill out, which was a little overwhelming. I probably would have appreciated having it mailed to me to fill out beforehand. It took me the entire doctor's visit to get it done and after. Dr. Amber Landry was extremely professional and so good with the kids. She was patient and answered all my questions. She as well gave each kid a book and they both are new favorites. We came in simply to meet a new pediatrician after our previous doctor retired. What was supposed to be a routine introduction quickly turned into one of the most traumatic medical experiences of my life. Before my dad could even give consent, Dr. Aston had already ordered three vaccinations and stated that we would be charged no matter what. There was no conversation, no explanation, and no attempt to make me feel safe. I was 13 years old. When I realized I was about to receive three shots without any warning or preparation, I had immediate and overwhelming anxiety. Instead of giving me even a moment to breathe or calm down, two nurses physically restrained me. They held down my legs and chest while I cried and begged them to stop. Without asking for permission, they pulled down my pants to give the shots in my leg. I felt completely exposed and powerless. In the middle of this, one of the nurses knocked both of my cochlear implants off. Suddenly, I couldn't hear anything. I was completely cut off from the world around me, unable to understand what was happening, unable to communicate, and unable to see clearly as my arms were being held down against my chest. It was terrifying. I was tense, scared, and in pain. But more than that, I felt stripped of any control over my own body. That feeling has never fully gone away. Even now, years later, I can still remember exactly how it felt, physically and emotionally. I am now 20 years old and entering the medical field myself. This experience has shaped me deeply, and it will always serve as a reminder of the kind of provider I refuse to become. Patients, especially children, deserve dignity, consent, and compassion. I was not given any of those things here.

When I told them I would like to wait and do research (like if my insurance covered the shot) was told if I didn't get it today I would be charged for it no matter what because they already drew it up. And be charged again when we decide to do it.
