I've been using Canady's for more than a year. I've tried several other pests control services ;and haven't found any better than Canady's. From their initial conversation with me on setting up the account, they have been outstanding. Their rates vary for the service you require and they are very reasonable. I have been using Canady's for a year for pest control and termite services. I was with my previous company since 1986 and had termites and ongoing pest problems. I have been with Canady's for almost 20 years. THEE most HONEST employee that has ever come to our home, and my husband agrees is a man we are would rather not mention. God only knows what would happen if we gave a shout out! We really do appreciate him. I would give ***** a 5 star to non said employee but, Canady's a 2 as they tend to be pushy! I could not afford a termite inspection due to a sudden death in my family that we had to help pay for. THEN, we get home from out of state, Met our tax preparer and we owe we owe....$$$$ AFTER I told them I could not afford that $125.00 inspection fee...they called me again! I would LOVE for them to pay our state and Federal tax bills....it is over $$$$. AND, Our AC went down, another $$$ + and our lawn mower. BOOM.. $400 bucks! ALL THIS after we get home from up north burying my brother!!!! AND I TOLD THEM THIS! I am not here to complain about MY personal issues, though I let them out but it needs to be known Canady's has some GREAT employees but the business itself...too pushy! They fail to realize here in North Carolina, they are a dime a dozen. A young man around the corner from us is with BUG OUT! Another neighbor has a family memeber that does his own thing. MY POINT IS-STOP BEING PUSHY Canady's and be kind to those that still want your service and to those that need a bit of time. Be better to your employees as well! my builder used them and I didn't even know I had termite protection until I asked my exterminator. He told me you couldn't buy a home in NC with a mortgage and not have. I called builder and they told me the name of company and I called Canady's. They told me my contract expired because I never responded to their email asking if I wanted yearly follow up or whatever they do. I said I never got an email, I asked why didn't you call me or send me a letter. I said I never received an email and I did a search and nothing. I asked them to send me proof of their email but they didn't have it. They claim in 2 years they have had numerous employees who could have sent but they couldn't provide proof. That is not acceptable to claim ignorance. They never sent a letter, call or email so they are exempt from their service? Says a lot about company. read more

This is the first time I have been home to see what my wife has been talking about. First let me start out with this company's rates. For the year it is $300 to spray 1 acre for fire ants( he says he will come anytime the ants come back and spray again), bug and pest $100 to start and $90 every quarter(where once again he say's he will come by and spray). So my wife has been telling me he talks down to her and indirectly makes her feel like she is dirty. Honestly I thought my wife was over reacting but I got to see it first hand today. While tending to our garden bed's, I noticed all the ants he sprayed for this past September are back ! He shows up today the 16th of March 2022, I go to the door no one is there. I walk out side this joker walks out from INSIDE MY GARAGE like he owns the place and ask me do what's going on ? Obviously I'm taken by surprise but I start explaining how the ants are everywhere he interrupts me ands says how he is surprised they are back and ask me where exactly. I tell him again "everywhere". Well he doesn't like that answer so he finds my wife and asks her the same question "where exactly" my wife states the same everywhere. He still doesn't like that answer so he proceeded to tell her "it is her pottery art" in the garden beds . After my wife starts telling him we paid for the year this should be a problem he then asks oh yea btw your year should be up soon right.... well wrong it's only been since September and we are already having issues. He finally starts to work but doesn't even conduct any type of spray just pulls out a 1 tin cup of seeds and lightly springs some seeds in random spots of an acre. Since he sprayed in September we have already lost two apple trees. The quarterly spray for bugs last month he didn't even notify us and we were not home so he just sprayed the porch and left a note on our door sorry we missed you. Well you wouldn't have missed us if you called. If this service changes over the next 6 months I will update this review but no one disrespects my wife and does shotty work for a grand total of $760 for the year and gets away with it without a bad review. read more

Canady's falsified the termite report for a house I am selling. Their report indicated they had discovered live termites when in fact there were none. Additionally they destroyed baseboard in the dining area. The reason I know there were no termites is because I had already had previously damaged areas treated three times in one week only a few weeks prior. And being a licensed construction contractor I verified there was no structural damage personally as well as making the cosmetic repairs I felt necessary. Finally I called the manager who admitted there were no live termites; there was only evidence there had once been termites. I told him their inspector caused unnecessary damage and asked them to repair it. The manager refused. There is nothing good I can say about this company. read more

This company is the best! Scott came to my house and conducted his inspected. He clearly explained everything and he was very kind and patient. He then called the receptionist and scheduled for the technician to spray the house. The next morning Todd was at my house. He had to drill into my porch and the driveway. The filler he used is seamless. What an incredible job. I am getting ready to move and my house is chaotic. I needed some paperwork sent to my realtor and Erin, the secretary, without hesitation, sent my realtor a copy and sent a copy to my email. Isn't this the care and compassion we all long for with every company we use? Oh, and the price was a great deal!!! Thank you Canady. read more

I needed a termite inspection for my house, a friend of mine recommended Cannady's. I called them a tech came out a few days later and did an inspection he claimed to have found termites but didn't show me photos. He told an extensive list of what they would do to treat the termites. He said he could not give me anything in writing. When he left I wanted to give him a check for the services, but he said call the office and schedule a treatment. I called the office every day for the next week to try to schedule a time for treatment. everyday I got she will call you back as soon as she gets back. Anyway I emailed her a week later to ask about scheduling the service and to get something in writing as to what they were doing and the cost. She then emailed me a 10 year control services contract that mentioned nothing about treating the area where the tech alleged to have found termites. So after 2 weeks of frustration trying to give Cannady's my money I called another service, they found no termites and offered a treatment for the same price that the Canaddy's tech had told me (but had never been put in writing) I let them do the treatment and some additional work and I am happy that Cannady's did not want my business. 5 Months later they called me asking why I hadn't paid the technician, even though he refused my check. I sent them the fee for the phony inspection just to get them out of my way. I wonder why they would claim I have termites and then not want to do the service. read more

This company he treated my parents home. Apparently, the heat treatment went unmonitored or poorly monitored. It was so hot, it melted the picture window frame In their living room, the 60-year-old doorbell cover in the hallway, the exterior standup freezer components, causing the freezer to quit working, and more! Attempts to contact management and the owners, to remedy these problems, have ended with "A big nothing burger"! They got paid and, they are done! read more

Canady's has always treated us the way you would want a business to treat their customers. Their team of professionals is first rate and I would recommend them to anyone. Always being paranoid of bugs in the house we come into a very terryfying ordeal. we had recently taken a few trips and apparently brought home bed bugs. Completely creeped and freaking out we called the Canady Team. They got us sqeezed in as soon as the could. They explained the options and what to expect the day of the extermination. We were told exactly what to expect and we were prepaired for the worst. It was an all day treatment and we were once again explained the process. The team worked through the house as expected and they were open and honest with all information needed. For anyone who travels and stays in hotels or even family and friends houses I would recommend you inspect the room, bed, cracks and crevices.
