I came here looking to get flowers for someone special, not knowing the first thing about them lol. The shop is located in a very quaint area of Atlanta. It is cozy flower shop that has a lot of different options to choose from at first sight. I was assisted by one of two workers at the door who asked if I knew what I wanted or did I want her help putting something together. I definitely needed help. She asked what price range I was looking to be in, I mentioned under $40, and told her what the occasion was for and what I was looking for. She put together a very beautiful arrangement of flowers as I watched amazed. The flowers came out really nice, and better than what I had imagined. I would definitely come to this shop again. Mutual crushes are the best, aren't they? You like him, he likes you, all is right with the world. Great, right? Right. Unless your mutual crush lives about 800 miles away, which is the predicament I currently find myself in. Apparently, though, as I learned today, a surprise bouquet from Candler Park Flower Mart can make the whole situation a lot less sucky. Not only did they whip up a seriously beautiful collection of flowers (no baby's breath! holler!), but they were totally flexible in working with my guy to make sure I was home for the delivery. Seriously, they're so pretty that even though I don't own a proper vase (um, yeah, I never get flowers) they still look gorgeous in my cheap Target plastic pitcher. Classy. And they make my house smell happy. I'm totally looking forward to checking their storefront out for myself sometime soon, as I could get used to having fresh flowers around, for serious. What a beautiful, peaceful, quaint flower shop! Very friendly and helpful staff. I was in and out within 20 minutes. I walked in (no appt or call ahead necessary) and was helped right away. You can make your own bouquet or receive help- too cool! They have a wide selection of vases there (around $10ish) or you can BRING YOUR OWN! I told them my budget and the staff helped me pick a vase and she made me an arrangement based on a picture I showed her when I got there. The little cards that stick out of the flowers are FREE and you can choose from different ones (Happy Birthday, Sympathy...) They offer delivery for $50 and up orders and it costs anywhere from $5-15ish depending on location. Or you can call ahead and pick it up. Also, they even provided me with a box to help transport it in the car. Too nice! They stayed within my budget and were very quick. I will certainly be back. Thank you!! read more

Amazing, Breathtaking and Spectacular! Julia was the dynamic person that helped me order flowers for my niece who was in the hospital. The bouquet she put together was better than I could've imagined. Julia spent time answering all my questions and even sent a text of the arrangement before it was delivered. I live in CA and needed the flowers quickly. They were delivered within 2 hours of my call and the hospital was on the other side of town. All of us were very impressed. Sometimes you just need to buy yourself some flowers. Came here yesterday with no clue in mind on what kind of flower/arrangement I wanted. Once I stepped in, they were very welcoming and friendly. Since I went in with no clue at all, she asked me what colors I would like and my budget. It started off with one flower and then it all started to come together! I picked a few flowers that I really liked and stood out to me. She grabbed a few pieces that went well together and started to put the beautiful masterpiece together. I thought about getting a vase there, but she told me that I would get more flowers without the vase and stay in my budget, rather than get a vase with less flowers and stay within my budget. So keep that in mind if you think about getting a vase. They have multiple buckets of flowers around the store and in the fridges, so there were many options to choose from if you want to have an arrangement made or just want a single stem. Definitely gonna have to come back here for the rest of my flower purchases, whether I want just a single flower or a beautiful bouquet. read more

My boyfriend and I went in the store at about 10:30 AM (30 minutes after the sign says they open) and the lady in the store COMPLETELY ignored us. As soon as we walked in she looked at us, turned around, and walked away. For the first few minutes we were in the store, she didn't say a word. When she finally said something she said "do you guys need anything or just looking" and I said "not yet, just looking" and then she proceeded to walk past me and roll her eyes. The lady in question was a red, curly headed lady. Every time I've come to this flower shop I have been massively impressed by their selection of interesting and rare flowers. My favorite thing is that you can walk in or call ahead of time and ask for specific colors or flowers and tell them your price and they will be happy to have them ready for you when you want to pick them up. This perfect little flower shop is a lovely element, and pays testament, to the Candler Park neighborhood. Where you may not need flowers as often as other goods or services, it's a wonderful thing to see locally. Came in recently right at about closing and the staff still let me in and gave me full service. Asked me what I wanted/needed, helped me pick them out, and were the nicest most jovial bunch throughout the experience. I wanted a smattering of yellow flowers for my wife, as a surprise, and they helped me pick out some lovely varietals of mums and daisies. There was also another rather ornate stem in there, but I can't remember the name. The arrangement was gorgeous and the nice young woman put them together with a yellow bow without my asking. So nice! Paid for each flower by the stem. This arrangement was about $12 for me. I even got a short crash course in where the flowers came from. It was really interesting. I love this little shop. Located a few blocks down from the heart of Little 5 Points, is the most charming little market full of fresh flowers that are a little more unique than grocery store regulars. They do arrangements, and will assist you when trying to come up with a bouquet of your own if you have some of your ideas. They also do deliveries and special events. They are pricey, but I swear my flowers last longer from them than anywhere else, and I think it's because they honestly care about the product they sell. So, treat yourself, or someone you love with an original bouquet from this flower mart! But beware, you will have to come up with your own parking spot (Oakdale Road) because they don't have a parking lot. read more

Hello beautiful flower shop!! I thought I that I was in a dream or something when I walked in - the day was gorgeous, warm, and the sunlight poured in beautifully through the windows of the shop... Maybe this was in part because I was here for Mother's Day. Mother's Day happened to coincide with the end of my final exams as well as the day I needed to move out of my apartment, so I had 100% forgotten about looking for some flowers until quite literally the last minute. It turns out that most florists have the absolute worst hours of operation, so there was no way that I could have time to swing by after my exams, so I was absolutely excited when I heard about this shop. This shop is really cute - starting from the cute parking signs in the front, I saw several children with their fathers picking out flowers. I was greeted promptly despite having unwashed post-final exam hair, and was asked what I wanted - well, I had no idea! Did I know what sort of flowers my mom liked? No. Did I know what her favorite color was? No. But finally we settled on some lilies, and my lady proceeded to magically create this beautiful bouquet - their smallest glass vase starts at around the $50 mark. Of course, my mother was thrilled to receive the flowers, and even more thrilled once the petals began to fully open up. The difference between these flowers and typical flowers from your grocery store was amazing - Candler Park flowers actually lasted for a long time! read more

I must start this review by saying that although I lived in Atlanta for 2 years and always meant to get in to this store, I never made it. My boyfriend still lives in Atlanta, though, and I wanted to surprise him with some beautiful flowers for Valentine's Day this year. I called and was helped via phone by Kescheler, who was a total godsend. She helped me pick a bouquet that was in my price range and in the color/type that I asked for. On top of being helpful in flower selection, Kescheler allowed me to email her what I wanted the flowers to say and even responded to my email a few moments later to confirm that she had received it. I was shocked to learn that adding a card was free! Because I did not know where my boyfriend would be on Valentine's day, I asked her if it would be ok to have his friend pick up the flowers and deliver them personally and she said yes! I was even able to "OK" the purchase of a vase if the best friend deemed it easier to transport. All in all, this was the easiest flower buying experience I've ever had and I have no doubt that Candler Park Flower Mart did their job perfectly based on the report I received this afternoon. We discussed my friend's personal tastes in colors and decor, then agreed on a reasonable budget of $50. Delivery charge was only $5 -- ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? and she agreed to delivery the very same day... are you kidding me again?!? I've been lucky enough to receive flowers from here on a few occasions and they have always been spectacular. It doesn't hurt that they put in a few flowers that haven't bloomed yet so if you keep taking care of the flowers (recut the stems and change the water every two days) you'll have a few new blooms to make up for the less resilient blossoms you loose earlier. Plus, they offer a frequent buyer card. They punch a hole in the card every time you make a purchase and eventually an arrangement is free. Love it! I went in last time and spoke to the women who run the mart and they say they are very picky--they want flowers that look good and will last, "Only the best." Because of their dedication to quality the customer always wins. Plus you name your own price! Tell them what you can afford and they'll make something that works. read more

Great local flower shop!! These ladies know their stuff - they did the flowers for my best friend's wedding and they were amazing. I live about a mile from here and every once in a awhile I'll pop in and treat myself to a plant. They are always healthy and last forever. The staff will tell you everything you need to do to take care of it, and they tell you if your plant gets sick to bring it back and they can help you figure out what's wrong. Amazing. Every single time I walk into this flower shop -- I receive excellent customer service, they have a beautiful selection to fit any budget, and I guarantee you'll leave this place happier than when you walked in. My most recent experience was from stopping in to get a bouquet put together for a friend's birthday who lives in the neighborhood. We were greeted warmly, asked what we were in for, what is your budget, what type of flowers do you like, and boom they were off.
