As we are completing the transaction she radioed back to the stockroom to have the unit brought out to my truck. Before I could turn the associate thanked me for my business, shook my hand, and told me to have a great day. As I put my wallet away and turned toward the exit I ran into the gentleman who was pushing out the large toolbox on a pallet jack. He followed me out and we loaded the giant box into the back of my pickup in less than a minute. From arrival to departure I spent less than 10 minutes and was teated like a valued customer the entire time. The staff was so friendly and helpful that it left an impression on me that will not soon be forgotten. Those employees may have been having a normal day at Harbor Freight but their attitude and ethic started my day in the most positive way!

This thing runs on four D size batteries but will light an entire room. So, I go looking for D batteries in preparation. Not only were D batteries a scarcity but flashlights had sold out too. I take a trip to Ace. At first, they had none too. But the staff, the very kind staff, found a box of D cell batteries and then FOUND me wandering around the store to give them to me. You can order online & pick up at store if you need an out of stock size. However... The pickup situation is fubar because a proper system hasn't been set in place. Could just be a pandemic thing, unsure. Good: You can sign up for free membership card for pet stuff. However... The rewards of it are slow and small if I recall...maybe a $5 coupon once you reach some amount. We have 2 dogs & haven't earned anything...probably not worth signing up until they offer better benefits IMO. They had a reasonable selection, and frankly we were looking for something middle/low end of what they carry. Al was very helpful, not intrusive, but answered all the questions we had. We continued our search for about a week or two and eventually returned to see Al to buy the set we'd looked at on our first visit. Al gave us an even better price than he originally provided which made us feel even better about our purchase. Delivery was on time as promised, furniture was packed and wrapped really well, and the delivery guys were fast, efficient, and took all of the packaging/wrapping with them. My only disappointment, and why I'm taking off a star is that on the sofa, in less than a week one cushion (only one I've been sitting on) already has a depression where the foam (or whatever) is compressing and not rebounding. I'm going to try using another cushion to see if it's just that one but that's the only disappointment so far. Everything else . . . fantastic. Would definitely go back to see Al!!

I was sold the wrong parts to service my own equipment -- that alone tells you everything about their attention to detail. I brought my machine back in to have them correct it, and at the same time asked them to address a hydraulic leak. Picked it up... still leaking. So what exactly did I pay for? It gets worse. They serviced my hedge trimmer and told me I had until Saturday to pick it up. I show up on Saturday -- and it's gone. Missing. No explanation, no accountability, no effort to resolve it. Just nothing. That's completely unacceptable. The bigger issue is the complete lack of professionalism and respect. After multiple bad experiences, I returned to drop my mower off again and voiced my concerns. Instead of trying to fix anything, I was told -- verbatim -- to "get your mower and get out," along with profanity. That's not customer service. That's a business that has completely lost control. Between wrong parts, incomplete repairs, missing equipment, and outright disrespect, this is NOT the same place it used to be. I wouldn't trust them with anything at this point. See you tomorrow lol you have no idea what I have in store for you guys - you cursed at the wrong person. I went to Turf Machine to have my lawn mower blade replaced. I already had the replacement blade so…read moreI only needed labor. The young lady who greeted me was very nice, and helped me get my lawn mower out of my car, which I didn't expect her to do. She had very nice nails, and if my nails looked that good, I wouldn't be touching someone's dirty mower, but she had no problem with it. I took a very short time to replace my blade so I didn't spend much time in the showroom. But what I was able to see I appreciated - spare parts and new equipment all neatly displayed. Once my mower was ready a young man helped me reload my mower into my trunk. Again, I didn't expect any help. That they did this means a lot because not a lot of places help out anymore. This place gets busy because when I was there, 2 people came in and as I was leaving, 2 more were coming. This was about 10:30am on a Saturday morning. Plan accordingly. I had a good experience and would definitely go back to Turf Machine for another service.
