It was a perfect location to have the conference. Downtown Greeley, which made for a good spot to take a walk at our lunch break. The couple of staff members/baristas were very friendly. Wish we had a gorgeous spot like Zoe's in Colorado Springs.

Zoe's Café & Events is a lovely little spot for coffee, creativity, and getting some work done…read more The ambience is one of my favorite things about this café. It's light, refreshing, airy, cozy casual, and artistic all at once. There are multiple seating options, from traditional tables and chairs to couches, plus an event room tucked off to the side. There's artwork throughout the space, and it's obvious that a lot of thought and consideration went into the decor. It's definitely Instagram photo worthy without feeling overly curated or uncomfortable. The food and drink selection is also quite varied. They have everything from coffee and specialty drinks to pastries and sandwiches, so there's plenty to choose from whether you're stopping in for a quick drink or looking for something more substantial. I personally only came in for a drink, but I was impressed by the variety of options. I ordered their Matcha brown sugar latte, which is one of their fall signature drinks, and it was absolutely amazing. If you're someone who's interested in trying matcha but isn't sure about the earthy flavor, I definitely recommend starting with something like this. The brown sugar adds enough sweetness to mellow out the earthy Matcha flavor without completely overpowering it. The service was decent. The barista were polite and friendly, but I did find that they weren't particularly knowledgeable about the entire menu. For a café with a fairly extensive drink selection, that can make it difficult when you're looking for a recommendation or have questions about something you haven't tried before. If the person behind the counter hasn't tried certain drinks themselves, they understandably may not be able to give much insight into what to expect. It's a small thing, but having staff who are familiar with the menu can make a big difference in the overall experience. Overall, Zoe's is a great place to spend some time. Whether you're catching up with friends, working on a paper or project for school or work, reading a book, or simply wanting to sit somewhere comfortable with a good drink, it fits the bill. The atmosphere makes you want to stay a while, and that matcha brown sugar latte alone is worth coming back for.

Sat outside on the upper deck with view of the water and trees (it's August- I can only imagine how lovely it is when the leaves change color); It is noted as a winery, and there are grape plants around, but the wine served is primarily from California which is deceiving. So instead of wine, i enjoyed mimosos and split food with the wife for a nice afternoon to avoid adulting. Shared the fig + prosciutto flatbread as well as the flank steak main dish. Combined, this was delicious and filling to a level of comfortable (no doggy bag, and also not aching from over eating). Was looking forward to going down to the area next to the lake to sit and enjoy one more drink, but unfortunately a storm moved in quick so we left. Would come out here again for an enjoyable yet brief "getaway" for a couple hours.

Our server was very attentive and helpful with our meal selection. While the biscuit breakfast comes with scrambled eggs they were kind enough to make mine over medium and also extra crispy bacon. The freshly made to order biscuits were so delicious with the butter and jams. We order the chocolate chip cookie skillet and it comes à la mode. Be warned it's HOT! I burned my tongue and it was so worth it. I would recommend asking for a second scoop of ice cream as it felt a little small in comparison to the size of the cookie. But get this dessert! The property is quite nice to walk around and even has a little gift shop. Give them a visit!

Our spade cake knife was used by an employee who lost it too. We spent almost $600 on the 7 piece set from Etsy. The owners, my husband, parents, and sister in law watched the camera footage of him intentionally doing it. Mariana sent a text message to me saying, "we are definitely taking care of things we saw our employee throw out by accident The knives I personally placed in the back next to the cake." She then told me she was trying to reach out to the Etsy seller to see if they could order the items individually, which they can't. Then I receive a text message from her after I send the pictures from Etsy saying that it's unclear what they saw on the camera footage. So we drove over there to look at the video once again, she has it on a different camera then what we watched it on the first time. I knew them we weren't going to get reimbursed I made her aware of the correct camera we watched it on the first time. She changed it and immediately said didn't want us to record it. We all witnessed it again and this time they said it was probably the Millenniums wine glass. They never gave us the Millennium wine glasses to use because we brought our own. They obviously thought we were blind like them. The man who did it is probably one of their close friends or family, so they don't want him to get in trouble. They said they couldn't reimburse us at all. Even if they did reimburse us, it's still not going to be the same things we used on our special wedding day. They don't care about you or your stuff so stay far away from this place and tell everyone else too. Your things will get thrown away without a care and all you can do is cry about it. They know they're wrong and don't want to pay the $600 for our things. They can't make anything right for the memories we shared. Save yourself the heartache, and let everyone you know not to chance it at the Millennium Event Center.
