I've needed to get this video done for a couple of years, but I was terrified that no video production company was possibly going to 1) get me and the concept behind my idea, and 2) go the locations I knew I needed, bearing the necessary equipment. Matt and Jason were a joy to work with, and they did an amazing job capturing our special day! First off, they were very helpful in the planning stages of documenting our day. We were able sit down and meet with Jason, who really listened to what we were looking for from our video. He was very thorough with learning the details of our day, so that all the great moments would be captured on film. Not only were they great in planning and correspondence leading up the wedding (They were especially great in their patience as we were juggling so many things regarding the preparations), but their execution and professionalism on that special day was top notch. We were able to have two videographers shoot the entire day, from our first look - which they captured so beautifully - to us driving off after the reception, and everything in between. They did a magnificent job working in conjunction with our photographer - Jessica Hill Photography - while we were taking our pictures before the wedding. They caught a lot of memorable, behind-the-scenes moments leading up to the ceremony, and then absolutely nailed the footage of the actual ceremony. Every moment was beautifully documented by Matt and Jason. Their great footage/documentation continued on into the party that was our reception. They got lots of interviews of our friends and family, did not miss one moment (from the Wii dance, Happy-matic Photobooth, speeches, first dance, parents' dance, cake cutting, garter toss, etc.), and were all over the dance floor as the Hit Machine rocked the house! Lastly, we were so impressed with the final product that Unveiled Productions provided for us. They made a video montage our day, but it wasn't just some generic video. They were very thorough, professional, and collaborative in the way they customized the video to how we wanted it to look. They asked for us to choose a song we wanted, asked for our input as far as what we wanted in the montage and customized it in a way captured the day so perfectly. It was done so well and anyone who wants to see it should go to their website or facebook page to check it out! Not only did they do a great job on the montage, but the DVDs (and Blue-Ray disc) that they gave us, truly made us so thankful we choose Unveiled Productions. My husband and I are SO happy we invested in them and selected them to capture the essence of our beautiful wedding day. When first shopping around for a videographer months ago, my photographer and other vendors kept recommending adding Moving Pictures to our dream team line up. The only reservation I had was the price. Videography services are expensive in general and going with Moving Pictures did mean I had to up my budget some. (Note that it is steep but SO worth every single penny. I have no regrets whatsoever and I believe you truly get what you pay for--in this case, a high quality, perfect product). My husband and I were sold when we browsed their collection of work online. We literally went through and watched every single clip we could find on their website, Facebook, Instagram and FELL IN LOVE. It wasn't until we watched a Feature Film for a couple that made us say YES. The feature film hit us with a wave of emotions--we were joyous, our heart strings were pulled, we cried like babies--and we didn't even know this couple! We knew that if Moving Pictures would capture and present our day to make others feel the way we did with this couple--they were the ones for us. And so, we contacted them! Once we signed with them, we were notified of who our Cinematographer would be, Rev, and he was kind enough to give us a call a few weeks prior to the big day to review expectations, the wedding day timeline, and any special requests we had. On the big day, Rev and his assistant Zee arrive and were so professional. What's great about Moving Pictures is how well they worked with our photography team, ANIKO Productions, to capture all the right shots and angles. You can tell they are such professionals in the work they do and considered everything. I knew our day was in the right hands with this team. Exactly three months after our wedding day we are contacted by Emily, our film editor. She invites us to come into the studio for a special premiere screening of our feature film. (Can I emphasize that it was only THREE MONTHS? I hear stories of films taking at least 5 months, or even 9-12!) My husband and I were in tears the entire time. The opening and closing, the speeches and stories interwoven throughout the entire film, the scoring, the beautiful, high quality footage--EVERYTHING was truly moving.
