Grossly incompetent firm. Once they enroll you they won't take a phone call. They also filed my taxes incorrectly and didn't file at all with one of the city taxes. I don't know how they are getting 5 star reviews, but it can't be through merit. Do yourself and avoid these incompetent muppets. read more

The guy I talked with on the phone asked me some qualifying questions, and then asked me, "How many bank accounts do you have?" Just be advised, this is not a local firm in your area. read more

This company here was a lifesaver. My taxes were complicated because I had income from more than one job. Moreover, one of the jobs was being on 1099, so I had to structure as a business. They walk me through different tax strategies that I can use to lower my taxes. Everybody at the company was super patient from the person answering the phone to the senior accountant that I got assigned to review my returns together with me. I am doing my returns with them again this year and the process has been excellent so far. I've had one session with my senior accountant already where we found a few thousand dollars to reduce my tax and I am working with them now to implement the strategy. I have been running a fully remote IT consulting business for years now. The quality of life has been great and I for sure do not want to let taxes ruin it! This is where George and his team have been instrumental. We have four staff with several other outsourced freelancers - payroll and 1099s are done completely for me with none of my involvement. Compare and contrast this to years ago when I was stumbling with quickbooks payroll trying to do it on my own - what a disaster. Anyway, George changed me to Gusto and it has been a breeze since. I don't think I've even logged in since last year. My paperwork used to be a complete disaster. No bookkeeping - I was using basically stripe to watch my revenue and since my main expense was payroll I used to just use quickbooks. George straightened out my records, set us up with an online billing system to keep track of jobs, corrected my tax issues and set up monthly reports that show what I'm actually spending [wasting hehe] money on. They found dozens of recurring expenses for SaaS products that I did not even know what they were - just the expense cutting side they eliminated probably 40k in needless expenses each year & provided some excellent suggestions on how to cost cut further without impacting my business. The tax strategy has been excellent as well - the current structure I use takes advantage of my trips, travel, and remote nature of my work. The speed of the service is always exceptional and the team is very easy to understand - no complex jargon. Quick email replies. Quick text-backs. George and his team of accounting wizards made a complicated process easy for me. I highly recommend the outsourced CFO package that they put me on 18 months ago - the monthly calls are eye opening and I finally feel like I have a handle on my finances. read more

They have been with me through multiple job changes, career changes, business ventures, partnerships, etc. and have been excellent each year. My significant other also has been using them for years and we are happy to recommend them to others. They are quick to reply to messages and thorough with their work. My recommendation is to reach out for tax planning early in the year to get a tax plan set up that way you know exactly what you are doing by the time the tax season starts. Dimov asked us to do this our first year & that was different from any prior accountant. It was a huge help because we discovered things we did not know about and really helped us get set up to not miss any deductions. It also helped us with general organization because prior years tax season was chaos for us, especially when I had the business.
