There are not enough nice words to say about Race and Jess and how fantastic these pair are as wedding photographer/videographer. From the very first contact, they were prompt in responding, patient, understanding and accommodating. Nothing was a problem and they were just a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. The hype is real you guys!! Race & Jess were a dream to work with. My husband and I hired them to capture our elopement in Mo'orea, French Polynesia as well as our celebration a few weeks after we returned. Let me back up to our first initial encounter. The Outlive Creative offices were right next door to our former apartment and we would walk by nearly every day while taking our pup around the block. When we got engaged a few months later I immediately got a hold of them through their website and was contacted within a day about setting up a get-together. We were welcomed into their studio where they made us lovely cocktails and walked through their portfolio. Not only did their work amaze me, but I knew instantly that these two people were meant to be the ones to capture our special day. They worked tirelessly to put together a package that fit our needs and budget and were so communicative about the entire process. Flash forward to our week of travel - they fly out a few days before us to scout out locations, understand the climate patterns and made sure there was plenty of time to shoot footage outside of our ceremony. My experience with them was so overwhelmingly perfect and I felt 100% confident in every suggestion they made. I can't express the gratitude I feel that these two ended up in our lives and if you are in the process of considering photographers/videographers, look no further...really. First off, I have watched the video they produced for us multiple times, and cry everytime! I had the opportunity to Skype with Jess at the beginning of our wedding journey, and then met Race and Jess again a month before the wedding to make sure they captured everything we wanted based off of our feedback, and the attention to detail questionnaire they sent us. After our final meetup I didn't have a single worry when it came to what they would capture, and can say I didn't need to worry because they got everything I wanted and more. Race and Jessi at Outlive Creative were great to work with throughout our entire wedding-video process. They were extremely accommodating of our rather idiosyncratic requests, and patient with us even when we took way too long to write back to emails! Outlive created a package that fit exactly what we wanted - full tapes of the ceremony and toasts as well as a trailer. While other companies offer only two or three set packages, they were happy to meet with us and really understand what we wanted. Even after the wedding was over, Race was able to make edits to our video (in our case, turning the music down a bit in the trailer and sending a different angle for part of the ceremony). Most importantly - the video looked amazing! Race and the other camera operator definitely knew what they were doing and they worked with our DJ to make sure the audio was all captured perfectly. We hired Jess and Race to do our wedding video... I wasn't initially going to hire a videographer, but after seeing their work, I just had to get them do film our day and make a highlight film. It was probably the best decision I made (other than choosing the venue) throughout the wedding process. They are so kind that they even offered to rent us their home when our groomsmen air bnb cancelled last minute! Aside from their kindness and being so easy to work with, they are so talented! Our film is amazing and everyone who's seen it has agreed. I felt that we got a great value for what we paid and what got compared to other videographers as well.
