No dogs on the trails, and be careful to avoid poison oak.

Love this park located high up on the bluff overlooking the Willamette River. Because of the location, at a dead-end in a hilly residential area, many people don't even know it's there (thank you, Yelp, for clueing us in!). Parking is limited and when we arrived there was only one spot open, but that means the park normally shouldn't get too crowded, either. There's a single restroom next to the parking area & the playground. The children's playground is really nice. They have a few trails to choose from, and aside from one stretch of steep incline on the longer trail, they are pretty easy to navigate. The longest trail took us probably a half-hour to walk, and we walked all the trails in an hour. Keep an eye out for a side trail that's a smooth rocky path over to a fabulous view of the river (I don't think that trail is marked on the map). Aside from that side trail I just mentioned, all the other trail starts & intersections have a little map on the trail posts, which is a bonus and something I wish more parks would do. The trails are a good mix of open sunny areas and heavy forest, so if it's warm & sunny, you'll get some shady areas to cool down. Oh, and dogs are NOT allowed on the trails here. Dogs on a leash are only allowed in the playground area and the small open area next to the playground.

Really enjoyed this park! The trails were pretty easy, which I was looking for because I don't have any hiking shoes lol. There is a playground area for kids as well and the public restroom was clean. I would come back again!

This park is great! Has 3 different play structures for each stage of the kids! Also has a great track to walk around on along with a cute river/stream with millions of friendly ducks! There's even bathrooms!!!!! Best park around!

Beautiful hidden gem in Oregon City with spectacular views of the Willamette river and the OC Waterfall. Has a hiking trail that leads to a park. It's a great place to decompress and have lunch and take in the views.

What a great community park! It has two play structures for kids. One is smaller and the other larger and taller, which nice for small kids to be able to play without getting trampled by larger kids. There's also swings and a small basketball court. The park connects to some trails so you can go on a short hike that's stroller accessible (with a really sturdy stroller). The park has a gender neutral restroom.

Beautiful hidden gem! The views from up here are GOREGOUS!! There are lots of trails to hike and its family friendly. The views from up here are of the Willamette falls and Willamette river facing West Linn. I really enjoyed exploring this area with my kiddos. There is a park here too, with playground equipment. We came here on a cold windy afternoon so we didn't get to explore the whole loop but we will come back for sure!

Theoretically, there is also a free boat dock, but at the time of writing, a very large tree is fallen across it. Restrooms and garbage are maintained by Oregon State Parks. When I visited, it was pretty clean. The trail along the river is very pretty, although I was only able to access about a mile of it before it got too flooded to hike through. I noticed lots of poisonous plants including poison oak, snowberries, and hemlock. But also tons of moss, lichens, and ferns. In addition to the picnic tables in the picnic areas, there were also several solitary tables set out along the river. This is great for a more solitary picnic, taking a break during a long bike ride, or getting some privacy for drawing or Journaling. Overall just about as good as it gets for free.

They don't have any trail maps posted, however, so we weren't sure of the distance of the trails or where they went. One trail follows close to the river, and that was nice, with a mix of open sun and shaded forest. The trails were mostly flat dirt or gravel, no strenuous inclines. There's a large off-leash dog exercise area. Dogs are supposed to be on a leash in the rest of the park, but sadly most owners were just letting their dogs run the trails off-leash. They have picnic tables & a good, clean restroom facility as well.
