After 5 sessions, we were amazed at the amount of discipline they showed like two little soldiers who wouldn't move unless we told them to when guests came over. Was dumped , emaciated .... Come to find out severely abused and scared of absolutely everything. I knew I was in over my head. I knew I was probably doing so many things wrong. I knew it was time to bring in a professional if we were gonna make this work. We brought Pam on just in time , I was so close to giving up. I was exhausted. So many tears. First meeting , she gave me hope. The hope that I needed to go on caring for Charlie. This is a very fragile case and she knew how slowly we have to work so we don't incur any setbacks. And we are getting there , slowly removing each layer of his fear , helping him realize that he can trust us. That he can enjoy this new life.
