He doesn't get the best haircuts he's ever had here, but they keep the prices in that range where it's a great spot, and we keep coming back. So it's maybe not the best for dogs with big "needs", I'm not sure honestly but I would def recommend to give them a chance. read more

This place is amazing. I needed to get my Pomeranian, who hadn't been professionally groomed in years, groomed today and they were able to get a same day appointment. They were so kind and caring through the whole thing. They were knowledgeable about my dogs breed. The best part, was their willingness to work with her. She hates being groomed and is a pain in the ass. They told me they would be willing to work with her again. I would totally recommend them to anyone. read more

I've been coming here for 9 months or so and they are great with my 12 year old, pain in the ass, hates to be groomed Pomeranian. I went in and told them up front he is difficult to groom and they continue to work with him, are very patient with him, and do a good job grooming him as well. I'm glad I found this place! I called and described exactly what I wanted. The lady seemed to understand and was taking notes. My daughter dropped my LONG HAIRED GSD 1 year old and when she went to pick her uo she saw two women holding her mouth closed and cutting ALL her hair behind her ears off!! The dog was shaking and stressed out, she is a sweet puppy and they complained that she barked and didnt want to take a bath!? Wth? My daughter even said do not cut her hair on her head or body just sanitary and trim tail dead ends off. What dod they do?? CUT ALL HER BEAUTIFUL HAIR OFF!! She is entering competitions and they ruined her! And had the gall to complain that they were short staffed and said they weren't passed any info from the manager?! Then call owner and VERIFY you don't just do whatever you feel like on peoples dogs!!! I wish my daughter hadn't paid. Her tail looks messed up! Horrible job. Just picked my two dogs, schnauzer petite breed, up from a grooming at Shear Pawfection. I'm very happy with the cuts. The staff was thorough in confirming vaccinations and what I wanted in a cut. The staff was also welcoming, and salon clean. Dogs appeared well cared for. My dogs appeared in good spirits when I picked them up, not terrified and racing for the door out. Cost was $130. + tip out the door. I will bring my boys back for sure. read more

Why 5 star? After calling 3 places to schedule my baby for grooming and ll of them are full. I ended up calling this place. The lady who answered the phone were so helpful and have stated that they do accept walk-ins. I decided to bring my baby Torch to this place almost got lost as the sign was not that noticeable however my GPS states that I have arrive to the place so I made a U-turn and park to a store and check the name of the place again and check the phone number as a grooming sign and phone number only shows in the signs. The phone number sign matched the phone number of the place so walked to the location and the small sign was up. Hesitated at first to leave Torch but he really need some haircut (grooming). They took my information to call me when Torch is ready. After 3 hours they called me and stated that Torch is ready and to my surprised they did a GREAT job with Torch the haircut was nicely done perfect length and he smell good. The price is not bad same price for the local place that I bring Torch. Thanks to Yelp for suggesting this place and for all the reviews that I've read I trusted Shear Pawfection to groom Torch and it was not a bad decision. They live up to the name Pawfection! Tip to the owner better signage, this will attract more pet owner to visit your business. read more

I just took my mini Aussie here to have some matting removed behind her ears and they were absolutely wonderful. My dog has never been to a groomer so she was very nervous and they were very kind and patient with her. They did a great job considering how vague I was when they asked me what type of cut I wanted for Mitsy. Basically told them to knock off the winter coat and leave her mustache so that I can grab it when I give her muzzle kisses. Also, trim the head as she tends to face plant when she feeds. Overall it was a good experience. Best of all they were able to fit me in with little advanced notice and Mitsy was pretty comfortable with them. read more

I was even more nervous about leaving my him due to a bad impression from another grooming facility... I met with Shear Pawfection and they were patient with me and my pup, you could tell Jen and Amy love animals and what they do. Rocky was nervous at first from the previous place but not long after meeting Jen and Amy he was just fine and seemed at ease. I felt very comfortable leaving Rocky for the first time with them. I brought my Maltese mix for a full groom. Upon entry, I was greeted very warmly by the front desk, who introduced me to the groomer. They asked what I want and did miracles with my dog's tail, which was so matted it looked like dreadlocks. When the groomer took my dog, he held him so gently that my yapper actually didn't bark at him. I warned them my dog is very squirmy with his cut, and the groomer said that he would take longer so as to not rush and make it traumatic. That was the perfect response!!! My dog's cut was perfection and I can tell they take great pride in their work. Thank you! read more

My Toby was stung by a wasp the day before his appointment and when I told them they got down in the floor and hugged and kissed on him to make sure he was ok. I had some issues with Green Dog Wash and the professionalism of their staff so I gave Shear Pawfection a shot. I haven't had to find a new dog groomer since and don't plan to change anytime soon. I've taken my dog in three times now and I am more pleased every time. Jen and Amy take such great care of my dog (like many puppies, he can be a major handful). They're always so excited to see him. You can clearly see their passion for dogs and it reflects in their work. Whereas Green Dog Wash used to tell me that he was too antsy for them to shave his face (so they just wouldn't do it), Jen and Amy spare no details and always make sure they do exactly what I requested. On top of all the better service, they're cheaper than Green. I cannot recommend them enough! read more
