Initially we checked out the Ridgeside Instagram account and then after contacting them for additional information we decided to sign Flossie up for the 3 week board & train program. We were given our trainer's contact info in case we had any questions or wanted additional info prior to the start date. Gina picked up Flossie and for the next three weeks we got pictures and videos every day of Flossie's training progress plus also information for us to learn about the training. All of this made the transition back home easy and seamless. Gina's instructions were clear and concise and she also made sure that we understood the hows and the whys of training. Since Flossie has been home Gina reached out to see how things were going and said she was available if we had any follow up questions. We are very happy with the outcome and feel the training really firmed up our loosey goosey training up to that point. Pebbles (blue heeler, 1.5 years old) would never listen to me, would not sit or lay still, and had a lot of other obedience issues that caused her to be stressed or confused. She was a TOUGH dog to train and I was concerned I couldn't find the solution for her to get basic concepts. This view has completely changed since working with RSK9's 3 week program. I would HIGHLY recommend them and their methods - you can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and it's made a huge difference in giving my dog the chance to find real rest at home. They send DAILY updates with photos and videos which was so nice. So my husband started Googling and found Knucklehead K9. He called & left a msg and Tony called us back within minutes! He gave us all the details of his programs and pricing, and we setup an appt. While basically a good dog in many respects, Riggins displays anxiety and shuts down during walks, which manifested in his past as fear aggression. This is not something we had dealt with with our previous pets, and knew that we needed to ensure against any kind of dangerous situation. We understood when we adopted Riggins we'd need to work with him on these ingrained bad habits. Shortly after we adopted him, we tried out group training sessions. It was clear the group training was for working on basic stuff, a lot of which our dog already knew. We felt the best option was to go with 1-1 training. And so glad we did. It was worth every penny. Scott gave us the tools to work with Riggins, as well as manage our expectations and learn how to deal with a variety of situations. We signed up for five training sessions with Scott, and as others mentioned in their reviews, the training started as soon as Scott entered the house. He made an immediate connection with Riggins and so amazing to see how the dog just snapped to attention for him. Such a great talent to have. Basically Scott told us we need to completely reprogram our dog. We're continuing to work on that, and probably will for the foreseeable future. But there's been a definite improvement in the way we deal with Riggins, and I see daily 'baby step' progress on walks. We've also been bike riding with Riggins, which he seems to enjoy and is great at draining his energy. The bike rides also ensure that the dog is following me, I'm in the lead and have control over the situation. So thanks to Scott for his help. We may well call him again for a tune-up, but for right now, we're putting his recommendations in place and are seeing a difference.

She came out for a free consultation and after speaking with her, we decided to send Ziggy to her house for 2 weeks and then have follow up lessons. It was worth every single penny. Jillian offers payment plans, too! Jillian's training has been a god send for us. Ziggy listens to commands, follows direction and we have a completely new dog in our home. We recently finished with Jillian's home away program with our dog Kane and I could not be happier…read morewith our experience. Kane struggled with aggression issues with other dogs, and people. He was very inconsistent in following commands and we were always scared he would dart out the door to chase the rabbits in our yard. We were never able to bring Kane out with us for fear that he would attack someone. We were resigned to the fact that our dog was just always going to be like this. All of those worries are now totally behind us. Kane is a totally different dog. He is eager to follow commands and is no longer aggressive towards dogs or people. Last night he was in our yard with 4 kids petting him and he calmly sat in the grass and enjoyed the love. The transformation has been incredible and everyone who sees the progress Kane has made has the same jaw dropping reaction.
