Our boys (Noah and his bestie Milo) went from being afraid of agility equipment to running up and down ramps all by themselves at the park. Noah's a lot more confident now too. So proud of him! We've attended group classes and did drop off CEO training since Noah was about 5 months. Noah has learned basic manners and over 20 tricks here. I learned how to properly handle, correct, protect, and play with my dog. If it wasn't for his caring trainers I would've lost my mind dealing with the Puppy Blues months ago ‍. Canines at Training is a fantastic place. The trainers are knowledgeable and know how to make learning fun for dogs and people. I have done many classes over the years with several herding dogs, and we have always had a great experience. My current rescue Sheltie came to me with reactivity issues. After working through the Canines at Training "Reactive Dog" classes, he is a much happier and more confident boy who is able to participate in group classes like Rally and Agility. read more

We had to write to HIGHLY RECOMMEND the great Reactive Dog classes! Owen really got a lot from them - as did we! - and he'll be coming back for DOCTORS classes later in the summer. We were very impressed that the trainers truly moved at the DOGS' comfort level, using only positive reinforcements, never overwhelming anyone but in the end moving us all along faster than expected. The class doesn't just set the dogs up for success at school - it sets up for real world success, like this: we took Owen for a walk last night, and from behind a fence there was a burst of unexpected, loud barking and the sound of a dog charging. Owen looked at the fence, but then immediately checked in and focused to get a treat, then just continued on, ignoring the dog behind the fence. we didn't need to distract or ask Owen to look or anything - he just heard the dog, checked and acknowledged it, then immediately checked back calmly. We know this is from the repetition and positive reinforcement from the class. It really works! read more

Only great things to say about our experience at Canines at Training. We took the Tricks class, and also the Cognition class. And we are looking forward to going back for Agility. The instructors have a very positive and supportive approach (as it is just as much training the human as training the dog), and made each class fun and interesting. They were able to tailor each class to what we wanted to focus on, and provided excellent explanations of the why's and how's. The facililty is large, clean, and has unlimited parking. Canines At Training has been my support after welcoming an eight week old Mastiff into my life. Knowing she is going to be a big girl meant I needed all the help I could get to teach her to become a well mannered dog. Even with all of the on-line videos available there is nothing like being with other puppies, owners and excellent trainers. Every trainer has been so much help. They adore every dog they meet and my girl loves them all. I'm happy to say that at six months and over 100 pounds, she has passed her Canine Good Citizen class! She still has a ways to go, so I will continue to use the CAT classes and drop off programs. I highly recommend them for any dog owner. They know their stuff! read more

They allowed both me and my husband to attend during COVID times and had partitioned areas to keep every family separate. I think this is so important to have the whole family involved no matter what. My puppy went into this program with a lot of DIY training but they explained to me not to rush my training and prioritize socialization. Thank god for them!! We refined some of our basics and learned to execute them with a LOT of distractions. They show the puppies varying "scary" everyday objects and even have a conditioning course at the end. They always encourage questions and never make you feel dumb. I really like that they have a primary instructor and then another instructor who goes around the room to see if anyone is struggling or needs help. We also attended a puppy social. This was totally unlike other puppy plays that we've been to. They don't expect your puppy to play with every pup and make sure to match your puppy with friends accordingly for a great experience. Overall, I loved our experience with CAT and I'm so excited for their diverse offerings. We will be taking several more classes! read more

I've had several dogs that I've attended training with over the years, and this is the BEST place to go! Wendy and Diane use extremely positive instruction for you and your pet, fostering a deeper connection to your best buddy. It is very informative even to an "expert dog owner". Diane and Wendy are amazing at what they do! I thought I didn't need any help training my new puppy until I went through puppy kindergarten. I had no idea how much I didn't know. They made training a puppy so easy people think my puppy is a prodigy! My puppy and I learned so much! They are incredibly knowledgable, professional, and patient; and their love of dogs is apparent. I cannot say anything but amazing things about CAT. They have actually helped me and my puppy learn to become a well trained dog. We had an amazing experience in Puppy Kindergarten 1 and an even better experience in Canine Conditioning. I am very excited to come back for Puppy Kindergarten 2. We adopted our baby Roxie when her owners threw her out into the street. She is three years old an knew absolutely nothing. After one class at Diane's pet training facility Roxie learned to sit an how to tolerate other dogs. We have made great progress after few more classes. LOVE Pet Experts! Large variety of classes at an indoor, climate controlled facility. Diane is a wonderful trainer. She works with each dog's personality to find what works for each individual. So far I have done basic ob,CGC, and rally with amazing results. My dog's favorite class is Trick class. It's a blast and dogs and handlers have so much fun! This was a wonderful puppy class. I've been to other dog classes with a different dog and found them to be a bit boring and ineffective. I definitely notice a difference in my puppy after completing the class. He is more confident and knows a few commands as well. read more
