Matt walked Mabel for three years and would still be our dog walker if we hadn't moved down the peninsula. Saying goodbye to him was one of the hardest parts of the move. Mabel thrived under Matt's care and is a happier, more relaxed dog for it. With Matt's gentle encouragement, Mabel went from being anxious and snappy around big dogs to walking up to greet them. No wonder she'd race to the door when she heard his keys jingling! After a day at the beach, on the trail, or in the park, she'd would always come home with a dopey grin on her face, plop down on her bed, and pass out. But Matt's care extended beyond exercise. He left daily report cards with details about each outing and posted photos on Facebook so we could see Mabel frolicking while we slaved away in law school. He even noticed injuries on Mabel that we missed. In other words, he set our minds completely at ease about her well being. He treated her like she was part of his family, and it showed. If every service provider were as thoughtful and devoted to their job as Matt is, we wouldn't need Yelp. Do your dog a favor and call him!

He is extremely good with Layla and she loves him a lot too. She is not much of a people person, so I love that she gets along so well with Ben. She would always return quite exhausted and happy from her expeditions and Ben would also tell us fun things about her experiences. He would leave notes on her whiteboard (given to us by Ben) if we were not home. We noticed a huge difference in Layla after she started walking with Ben - she stopped pulling on leash, got much better at recall, started listening better to commands like 'wait' and 'stay' and in general became very well behaved. Whenever she ran into another dog from the pack at a park or outside, we could tell how super excited she was to see her pack-mate. They develop an adorable friendship being part of Ben's packs. Ben even helped watch Layla while we were on a month long vacation and she was extremely happy and comfortable with him. He took good care of Layla and our home. Sent us regular updates about her and was truly like an acting parent for her in our absence. Ben was extremely considerate about pausing Layla's walks when we noticed her limping and was also very adjusting with giving her pee breaks and scheduling last minute walks/pee breaks if required. Sadly Layla was recently diagnosed with elbow dysplasia and has to stop her walks with Ben. She is going to miss him and the pack dearly. :( I can only wish to find another walker, as good as Ben for Layla's low intensity walks.

Oh and did I mention my dog is head over heels in love with him. Ben employs lovely practices, like small packs, pack oriented play, and continues to work on discipline and socialization. We could not be happier with our service. We love the notes we get, and whenever I get home from work I rush to the fridge to read of that day's adventures. I interviewed Aaron 2 years for some dog walks while I'm at work and was very please with how he interacted with my babies. He's been amazing and I can tell he really cares about my dogs and their well-being. He is attentive and reports any changes in behavior so I can be on top of any changes in their health. Aaron always takes his time with my senior citizen and he will even carry my doxie if he's not doing too well. I've also boarded my dogs with Aaron when I travel and I know they are very well cared for. I get regular updates and pictures about how the boys are doing. Aaron has also helped me with water plants and bringing in packages when I've been on long trips. From time to time, I need to stay in the office late and he's always flexible to help me with extra walks with short notice when needed. I can't say enough great things about Aaron and I'm SO grateful to have his help caring for my babies.

What distinguishes Aaron from some other pet care providers is his flexibility and willingness to help resolve unusual situations. For example, he made a very short-notice additional visit (within 30 min of contacting him) when the cats turned on the gas fireplace and I wasn't available to respond. And when he encountered an unexpected water puddle during a routine care visit, he traced the source to a plumbing leak, communicated the situation (with pictures), put a temporary fix in place, and monitored it so that it didn't interfere with my travel. Aaron is professional and trustworthy, and I appreciate his care for my cats and home. I highly recommend Chamberlain Pet and Home Services.

Unfortunately, my dog has not mastered the art of sharing and isn't very fun to be with when playing fetch. Andrew very kindly told me that it was not going to work out but he would keep him on till I found a better suited pack. He even reached out to other dog walkers and found me a walker with dogs that are more appropriate match. I really appreciate him going the extra mile for me. When she doesn't get her happy pack walk she is visibly depressed sulking around the house. From the moment Peaches met Chris, they seemed to have an instant bond. He's like that with dogs. And he doesn't just take your dog to the park and sit on his phone. Your dog gets real exercise with Chris, as indicated by the daily video posts. In addition to being a stellar walker, Chris makes sure to reinforce good training behavior while out with the pack. She definitely needs her happy group for her physical and mental state. He has also bent over backwards to accommodate changing schedules and needs. We're so happy we found Happy Pack!
