I had a consultation regarding CBC products for relief for anxiety and possibly pain for my…read morearthritic condition Not only was CBD medication prescribed, marijuana was prescribed, with suggestion to vape as I have COPD. When I contacted the organization they use for product purchase, the vape machines were 200.00 plus, ranging up to 400.00. I could not afford and that staff member recommended a cheaper hand held. Then it took forever to get the product. Once the product was received, I reviewed my treatment plan and noted that it reccommeded 3 days at 05ml and the following 3 days at 10. This seemed like a big jump. I tried to clarify this and what insued were several emails with Greeenleaf staff in which they suggested that I had not followed their recommendations, that the treatment plan noted a gradual inrease to 10. I sent the copy of the treatment plan I had which did not at all state a gradual increase. I never used the products I purchased because of the conflicting information. I did not feel the direction was safe, particularly after the very rude tone in the emails. I also feel like despite my concerns about use of marijuana as a teen had caused anxiety, that they still proceeded with the recommendation to use this and recommended a vape machine that was very expensive. I believe they work with the supplier and pump up sales. All I was looking for initially was for CBC medication for anxiety and pain. In addition to the very rude emails with Greeenleaf staff, I finally said I was just done with them and had wasted a significant amount of money. They said they were going to refund the consultation fee within a couple days; however, I never received the refund either.

I called, made an appointment, had my requisition FAXed. When I appeared for my appointment 10 minutes early, the person at the desk asked for my "paper work." Confused, I said that I had not received any. I said my doctor had sent a requisition explaining my condition. She could not find the requisition. At that point a man appeared from one of the side cubicles, dressed in what I can only call very casual, non-professional appearing clothing, more like a university student's. He indicated that I would be consulting with him. By this time, I was getting very uneasy. I expressed my concern. He said, "That's it," and turned abruptly and walked away. I followed him. I tapped him on his shoulder to get his attention. I wanted to point at my tumor on my face, and I said out loud, "Look at my tumor. I am dying." He did not so much as glance and actually slammed his door in what would have been my face, striking it actually, had I not hit the door with my hand to prevent this.The front desk somehow found my requisition and gave it to me. Incredulous, I left. I point out the irony of calling this COMPASSION Club. And the sheer lack of minimal professionalism. I am reporting them to Health Canada, the Better Business Bureau, and relevant blogs, for the benefit of others.
