    November box of 6
    David Y.

Been here twice now and I've got to say, the quality of their cannolis at Cannoli Crunch are consistently crispy-yet-chewy good. They have monthly flavours so we got the standard box of 6 to try a bunch of them. They were nice enough to sub out the savoury cannoli (dill pickle for November) and give us an additional sweet one to satisfy my sweet tooth. November box of 6 included grand marnier (premium cannoli; on its own it costs $7 I think), pear, lychee, jellybean, wafer, and violeta (this is what qe subbed in). Surprisingly, I didn't take to the grand marnier one (wanted it a bit more boozy) and gravitated to the pear one (you bit into it and it was a burst of summer). Also, easily the most fun one was jellybean - tasted like a kid's cannoli. Overall, really pricey but I guess that's the cost of quality? Owner is friendly and helpful. My wife is now addicted to these so we'll likely be back.

This place smells like heaven! Delicious freshly baked goods, gelatos and some classic Pop Shoppe sodas to wash it all down. There actually a joint business with Morso ME, which offers deeeeelicious sandwiches, pastas and salads. Staff are so friendly and welcoming here. YOU GOTTA STOP BY HERE AND TRY IT OUT!!

Cannoli Crunch has a small but cute location on King Street West, West of Bathurst but a little before Liberty Village. They're still relatively new as they only opened Summer 2021. The owners are great as they take the time and care to explain the ingredients/components of any/all of their Cannoli's in the case you have allergies, or just want to know! You can mix and match which flavors you want. I had the opportunity to try a mix, my favorites include the Ferraro Roche (called the Golden Nugget) and the Green Tea Matcha. After recently checking their website, I see the Green Tea Matcha is currently unavailable. They have a short list of 6 Cannoli's that are available year-round, and as of August 2022 they are: 1. Pistachio 2. Chocolate 3. Original 4. Orange 5. Cherry 6. The Everything If you check their Instagram or website, you can see their Monthly Cannoli's and/or Jelly Cannoli's which are frequently updated. Although there doesn't seem to be any now, they momentarily had savory cannoli's such as the salmon sushi, caviar, or meatball!

If you love cannolis as much as I do, you must try Chef Maria's elevated take on the delicious cannoli. Seems strange that no one is doing this in Toronto. On this visit, we tried the Chef's choice of 6 handcrafted, delicious, crispy, crunchy cannoli. The SetBox of 6 includes Mr. BAILEY, Sushi Roll, Pumpkin Spice, Golden Nugget (Ferraro Rocher flavour), Signature Guava Jelly & Matcha Tea Cannoli. With the gorgeous packaging, it also makes for a great gift. They're not your Mom's cannolis, but I highly recommend stopping by and trying them. You won't be disappointed! There's also a restaurant on the premises serving Sicilian inspired Italian dishes. Judging by the wonderful smell and busy lineup of people carrying out, I'll definitely have to stop by again and try out their menu.

I've tried Cannoli at Cannoli Crunch many times. I can say that I'm a fan of Cannoli Crunch! The first impression was how beautiful the cannoli were. Each one of them were crafted by hand very beautifully! The chef and the Cannoli Crunch team are very creative and talented. They offer new flavours each month so you can explore new flavours every month. The trick to enjoy the cannoli is to eat it fresh!!! I mean if you can eat them right away after purchasing, you will enjoy the most crunchy and delicious Cannoli you haven't tried. They are still good in a few hours too! However, if you leave them for an overnight in the fridge, everything will be soggy. The tastes will stay the same but the shell won't be crunchy anymore. Make sure you pick them up at your pick up time! Do not be late! So you can enjoy how fresh the are!

Left to right: Matcha, Jelly filled, Ferrero Rocher, Pumpkin Spice, Bailey's, and Salmon Sushi.

I visited cannoli CRUNCH as part of a Yelp event. I must say that the owners were very passionate about making cannolis. They explained each and every unique flavours and genuinely took pride in their products! I was offered 6 different flavours, both sweet and savoury. I shared them with my brother and we enjoyed every flavour, even the bold smoked salmon one. The fact the almost all components of cannoli were homemade made them taste even better. The presentation was amazing and the attention to detail was evident. I came back to get another set of 6 cannolis as a birthday gift for my friend and she loved it! Highly recommend this local business!

I heard a lot of good reviews about this place so I had to check it out myself. It's a small shop located in Toronto that sells authentic cannoli. I decided to preorder my cannolis. When I entered, the owner was super welcoming and didn't want to pre-make my order because she wanted to maximize the freshness and crispiness of the cannoli shells. I could really see the passion from the owner as she was explaining her own Sicilian heritage! The cannoli itself were all delicious. Crispy shells, creamy filling! What more can I say? Keep in mind their flavours changes every month. But from this collection, il fico was my favourite! Highly recommend!!

This small little bake shop had a menu hanging up, but I completely ignored it thanks to the baked goods right behind the counter that I was too busy staring at. I knew right away that I was going to order a Chocolate Croissant because, well, I always order a Chocolate Croissant if one is available. After making my first choice, this strange little baked good caught my eye, and it turned out to be something called a Cruffin.......a Cruffin you say? What is a cruffin? WELL, let me tell you. The cruffin is basically like a muffin, but like, with cheese and pepperoni on it so obviously I hate to order that sexy little bad boy right away. This thing wasn't big, but it was very dense and basically tasted like pizza crust which was absolutely delicious. After eating the cruffin, the Chocolate Croissant seemed way less cool but I ate it anyway. It tasted good and the chocolate was actually spread across the whole thing so they get an even bigger thumbs up for doing it right. Overall, COBS Bread was the spot! I had no idea this was a chain, but who cares, this place was great. I really liked the Cruffin I got and the croissant was really good as well. I will absolutely be revisiting COBS Bread when I come back to Canada and devouring a few more cruffins while I'm at it!

Here's a cinnamon bun, you know what it is lol. The one thing I'd say that will elevate this from a…read more5 to a 10 is if somehow they can get that glaze at the bottom of the bun to be i side of the bun. The interior is dry while the bottom and top is moist. It's height and width is too high and wide so any attempts to bite (to get that moist sweetness to mask the middle dryness) just guarantees a joker's smile of smeared sugar... so, overall a decent bun, but nothing you'd dream daily about. Want to also add the store is very well organized with their display of goods and the service is professional and efficient.

It blends a traditional Italian deli style with a modern downtown vibe and is known for fresh panini made with quality meats and ingredients, many imported from Italy. We tried their "Il Padrino" and "Capricciosa" panini, and both stood out with crispy fresh bread and a great balance of mortadella, prosciutto, salami, cheese, veggies, and sauces. The combination of fresh bread, curated deli meats, and flavorful sauces gives each sandwich a really nice touch. Besides sandwiches, they also carry Italian-style groceries like pasta, cheeses, desserts, and drinks, which makes the visit feel like a quick trip to a small Italian market. It's a great stop if you're looking for a simple but high-quality lunch in the Harbord Village area.

Blink and you'll miss this one! It's down some steps and features so outdoor seating as well. I was intrigued when I heard that another Italian cafe/sandwich shop opened near the Annex/Harbord Village. They have a variety of panini style sandwiches with a fridge/freezer of imported items such as frozen meals, meats, dried and spreads, sauces, cake slices and gelato! All the sandwiches sound delicious! Hard to choose! I went with the Alla Romana $16 (Prosciutto from Abruzzo Italy, Semi-dried cherry tomatoes, Balsamic glaze, Fior di Latte). The bread was crusty & warm - all quality ingredients!! The prosciutto & other topping were plentiful. Great flavours. Fresh! You can tell it was made with care. I was surprised at how big the sandwich was. It was cut in two & placed in a take away container which travelled well. The sandwich was still intact and perfect when I got home. The bread has a good crust but was soft inside to be a good compliment for the filling! I did get a piece of tiramisu & a small single serve cup of gelato from the fridge/freezer to be tried later!! I am a big fan of sandwiches with quality great & quality filling and this checks off the boxes. Staff was friendly and the sandwich is a good value given the top quality ingredients. If you've been to Italy you will appreciate inspired sandwiches & pantry items! Quite a few tables to sit down and enjoy your sandwich with a cold or hot beverage. They have a TV with the Olympics on too! The sandwich picture doesn't do it justice! Go see for yourself!! :)

Looking for a Sandwich place that is different, cutting edge and makes your taste buds melt? Well…read morethis is not your place! I'm going to continue with my overtime take out review series with Sandwich Box. You would think making a sandwich is probably not the most complicated task out there, but this place seems to get it all wrong. My order consisted of an egg salad sandwich on whole grain bread with a side salad. When I received it, I only got the sandwich and the restaurant failed to tell me the salad was no longer included in the combo (yet the price remained the same). That's great that the online menu was not updated to include items no longer available, a simple update would address all these problems knowmsayin? Now on to the actual sandwich, the bread was thick. I mean so thick it looked like there was about a half an inch of eggs inside of two encyclopedias worth of bread. The eggs themselves, totally flavorless and bland. Kinda hard to mess up an egg salad sandwich right? Even Tim Horton's can get that right! To make things short and sweet, I'll be looking over this option the next time I'm working late or considering a sandwich in the downtown area.

I agree that the price for a sandwich plus side salad is quite pricey ($13 including tax) but I like the fact that everything tastes fresh and light, and you have alot of options to customize your sandwich in a healthy way. I ordered the rosemary focaccia with chicken breast, arugula, avocado and chipotle spread plus their usual sprinkle of salt, pepper and squeeze of lime. It's like a gourmet sandwich - the bread was thick, soft with hints of rosemary and yummy. The salad was mostly arugula with carrots- this was very lightly seasoned but at least I won't be hit with itis going back to work! Definitely would come again, although not regularly since it's kinda pricey.
