four different flavored donuts in a box
    Zaakirah K.

I've passed by this place a couple times but it's not always that I see they have a great variety of éclairs. I previously tried their profiteroles and since I loved them, I've been wanting to try their éclairs. On my most recent visit, I got a box of 4 to try. My favourite was the maple pecan. However, I was slightly disappointed as the éclairs did not taste fresh as I expected them to (I even asked before buying to make sure). Additionally, for the pricing point of each ($4.25 for one), I didn't find it matching up to the quality nor that it offers value for money. Personally, next time, I wouldn't pay more than $3 for one, given the taste and freshness didn't wow me. I would say it was ok but I loved that they have a great selection to choose from, for chocolate, nut and fruit lovers alike.

Got the opportunity to try these patisseries during the holiday season, as I received them as a…read moregift. In the box was: White Chocolate Peach Mousse Fruit Tart Coconut Exotic Fruit Pistachio Mousse Raspberry Mousse Log Cake Aesthetically, all the pastries looked amazing! I felt bad cutting them to take a bite! My favourite is the Coconut Exotic Fruit. All the layers tied nicely together and tasted really good! The fruit tart was also good. Im not the biggest fan of peach but it was not bad as well. The Raspberry Mousse Cake was well balanced and not too sweet or tart. Sadly to say the Pistachio Mousse that was shaped as a cute Christmas tree was my least favourite. As this was a gift, I did not visit the location in person or know the price, but I do want to eat other selection of pastries and cakes if I get the chance!

My total for four stunning pastries came to $34.00, but I left feeling that the splurge was well worth it for the quality and complexity of the flavors. The selection inside was almost overwhelming... a sensory overload of vibrant colours, making me want to try absolutely everything!!!!! The Strawberry was the standout star, delivering a bright, nostalgic taste that was pure Strawberry Shortcake perfection. I was equally impressed with the richness of the Dark Chocolate Espresso pastry, a deep, satisfying choice. Despite being incredibly busy, the staff was very efficient with keeping the line moving quickly. While I noticed some seating, I was so focused on the sweet goodies that I barely registered the environment. I'm already planning my next trip! A crucial heads-up, however: the pastries I enjoyed all feature a light, airy mousse filling. If that texture or lightness isn't to your taste, you might want to skip

I truly hate writing bad reviews, especially about a place I genuinely used to love…read more The place is still beautiful, elegant, and the service is still amazing. The staff were kind and welcoming as always, so this review has absolutely nothing to do with them. But... and this is a BIG but... what happened to the pastries? I honestly don't know if there's new ownership, a new pastry chef, or someone decided to "improve" the recipes. Whatever changed... please change it back. The mahalabia had nothing to do with mahalabia. The Arabic ice cream was actually good, so credit where credit is due. The halawet el jibn was unbelievably sweet, but unfortunately sweetness alone doesn't make a great dessert. And the kunafa... it just wasn't the kunafa I remembered. What makes me the saddest isn't even the desserts. It's the memories. This used to be our family's go-to place. Birthdays, family gatherings, random dessert cravings... this was our spot. It was always full of people, laughter, and amazing desserts. Walking in now and seeing it almost empty honestly made me sad because I know how good this place used to be. I really hope this review reaches the owner in the spirit it's intended. I'm not trying to put the business down I actually want to see it succeed again. I would love nothing more than to come back one day, take my first bite, and say, "Yep... they're back!" Until then, I'll just be holding on to the sweet memories... because, sadly, they were sweeter than the desserts this time.
