Before going out, we got a comprehensive safety brief and were informed of an area to keep our belongings. As we were cruising, we wore headsets with speakers in which captain Ryan was speaking about the surrounding environment. The headset also had microphones in which we would reply to him. As we got into the swampy area, the ride was smooth and as someone who is scared of water, I felt completely safe. Captain Ryan brought us to some wonderful hidden gems such as a few alligator nests where he explained their structure in detail and answered any questions with complete answers. We got very close to alligators and baby alligators (freshly hatched the day before) and it was an amazing experience. Captain Ryan made us feel confident that we were not in danger and if we were, he would be able to handle it. As we were finishing our tour it started to pour and we switched our headset out for a water friendly version. Rather than bringing us directly back to the docking area, we sat under an overpass to prevent getting completely drenched and possibly hurt. We made it back and Captain Ryan made sure we were all safe getting off. Overall, a truly wonderful experience. More than worth the price. It was beyond what we expected in the best ways.

I can honestly say that visiting this place and riding an airboat were among the most enjoyable…read morethings I have done in many years. Wow! My family, friends, and I had such a great time and wish that we could have remained on the airboat much longer. This place is located at the end of a very long road. The drive to the property is very quiet and relaxing. The property itself was well-maintained, everything was clearly marked, and the venue itself was fun. There is a gift shop, a snack shop, a food trailer offering hot food, a beverage hit, clean bathrooms, gold mining, and so much more. The employees went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The real reason why you would visit this place is the airboats. Each guest boards the large boats, which can seat 12-15 people at a time. To the rear of the boat sits this huge fan, which controls the boat. Each guest is required to grab a headset or ear protection, as the boats are noisy and loud, and I mean LOUD once they get going. The purpose of the boats is to have fun, of course, but the objective is to look for alligators as you speed through the swamps. During our visit, we spotted nine alligators, and the boat operator stopped so guests could see and experience them up close. The alligators are never disturbed, and they do not seem to mind being watched. Back to the airboats, these things are FAST! The boat operator will have you going so fast on the water, then pull into a complete 360-degree turn when you least expect it. The first time the boat operator sped away from the dock at the start of the tour, you were a tad nervous, similar to riding a roller coaster. After this initial nervousness, you could not get enough of this airboat and only wanted to go fast on the water. I might add that there was a group seated in front of us with a boy between 8 and 10 years old and a young tween girl, and they appeared to enjoy the airboat ride just as much as we adults. This is definitely a fun place for all ages

He fixed the belt and we went three feet and died again - this went on for another 45 minutes. Then we went 20 feet and "the alternator twisted". Another 40 mins and 5 startups and stops. We threw another belt. He stood there cussing up a storm and beating on everything with a wrench. He asked everyone if they would be ok coming back tomorrow. Most people said no (because he was crazy and his boat was junk). Then suddenly the boat started up and ran fine. He drove around the lake once pointed out nothing and then had the nerve to ask for tips when he was done. Below are the pictures of his handiwork. This was the boat in "running order".

From the moment we arrived, the place had this incredible energy -- the kind of spot that instantly makes you think, I'd camp here in a heartbeat. The grounds were beautiful, the amenities looked top‑notch, and the whole atmosphere felt like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. And the staff? Absolutely phenomenal. Genuine, warm, and the kind of people who clearly love what they do. I hesitated to wander into the camper store since we weren't staying overnight, but now I wish I had -- the whole place had that welcoming, "come on in" vibe. I wasn't sure if the campground and airboat tours were run separately, but everyone we met felt like part of one big, enthusiastic team. Before the tour, the staff came out and gave us a fascinating crash course on gators -- and then we got to hold Luke the gator. Let me tell you, once you hold Luke, something changes. You walk away feeling like you've bonded with a gator. I'm not kidding -- I still catch myself wondering how Luke is doing. Then came the airboat ride. We loaded up, the engine kicked in, and suddenly we were flying across the lake. Our tour guide Kyle was outstanding -- knowledgeable, funny, confident, and able to answer every question thrown his way. For my first airboat experience, I was genuinely impressed by how smooth and skilled he was behind the controls. We spotted plenty of baby gators and even a mama gator. Sure, I would've loved to see a few more, but for the price, the thrill, and the overall experience, it was absolutely worth it. We were on the 12:45 tour, so the time of day may have played a role -- but honestly, I left feeling thrilled. If I could change one thing, it would be knowing ahead of time that tips for the guides are cash‑only. We weren't carrying American cash, and Kyle definitely earned a tip. Adding that note to the FAQ or confirmation messages would be super helpful for future guests. All in all, this was an unforgettable experience -- exciting, educational, and genuinely fun from start to finish. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something unique, thrilling, and full of heart.

Others want a quickie ghost story, entertainment, or both. This ghost tour in Kissimmee popped up first online. This was my friend's first ghost tour. The other people in our group wanted to hang out and see what it was about etc. They paid the $19 fee and tagged along. 5 of us total. Ashley was our tour guide and a nice teacher, a very noble profession. 3to 5 stars rating 5- Returning my phone calls immediately 5-Immediate service and help 5-Accommodating - making a stop for restrooms and drinks. Tour guide took pictures of the tour group at the start of the tour to post on Facebook. 3-5 stars Interesting facts 4 stars tour guide's love and passion for history and calm personality. This is a tour to go if you want to listen to history and a ghost story about the buildings and former residents in Kissimmee not a tour to capture paranormal activity on film. Ashley provided that completely as a tour guide. If you are new to the ghost world like my friend was, I would recommend a ghost tour that went over basics. 3-5 minutes like how to sense and capture paranormal activity using your camera or senses. This not an interactive ghost tour either. Guests don't participate in exploring haunted places or do much Q and A with the tour guide. If you want fun and giggles, you are better off hanging out at a bar or nightlife in Kissimmee like my guy friends did. So that was the good highlights part of the tour. Now, here are the parts of the tour I won't rate yet it gave me some concern. - No sense of connection to tour guide ( not personal but it means a lot to guests) I was happy to see her but she didn't seem thrilled or happy. No hard feelings. - No quick prep talk on how to get paranormal activity on film or sense it - Ghost stories - some were interesting yet I can only remember in detail 3-4. I got lost in the details. My friends could only remember one clearly. - Some people were into photographing themselves during the tour. I am use to seeing tour guides offering to take pictures of tour guests or offering helpful hints like "This is a location where guests capture a lot of paranormal activity on film. You might want to take a picture here to see if you capture any ghost activity like orbs, ectoplasm, or energy ribbon." I went on the website and saw pictures guests captured paranormal activity. I ended up taking pictures for some of the guests when they couldn't get a good picture of themselves or wanted a lot of group pictures. - We never went inside any of the haunted buildings. We got close to a few but we stayed at a far distance from the haunted sites. - I wish there was a well lit location like a quiet public place where Ashley could end the tour and share her album of paranormal pictures. She never showed her album of pictures. - No fun, sense of humor, or entertainment factor. - I was not captivated and not all the needs of the tour guests were met. She showed a few visuals but they were about history. No paranormal activity. Ghost tours need a WOW factor. Most people are visual learners or drawn by visuals not auditory. - I asked her a question when she brought up an interesting historical fact but had no idea about the guy's name. I wish she had looked up that info especially if she was a history teacher . She was honest though. - When she ended the tour, it felt incomplete or something was missing. Usually when I go to these tours, it ends on a high note or seeing pictures of the highlights of the tour captured by guests in the past. I respect Ashley, yet my friends pointed out that she was introverted and not a good public speaker. They left the tour quick. I enjoyed her passion for history, ghosts, and a national monument. Some of her ghost stories and facts were interesting. She handled herself well. The tour would have been more fascinating if she shared more visuals and was able to captivate the tour guests more. Combined with some of my concerns, I give this tour 3.4 stars. It meets most ghost tour standards. It was good at some areas yet lacking in others. If I was captivated and felt a connection to the stories or tour guide, I would give it four stars. Product of this ghost tour may be good, but the visuals, spectacular service, and sense of camaraderie is what keeps me coming back for more.
