We are 2 months out from the trip and were just informed we had an option between two different 13 to 14 hour total flight/layover times that were supposed to be direct. Because my husband has a medical issue that prohibits that long of a flight/7hr layover day, we have had to cancel one half of our trip...All because no one took notice that this would be the case and never connected to book the flights months ago when all the other flights were booked and PAID FOR IN FULL. Not to mention we paid extra to get a private charter but apparently they opted for the 13 hour coach on Kenya Air instead. Now they want to discuss the cost when we have had to change the itinerary and cancel half...(which the hotel will refund fully according to the hotel website) but apparently they want to charge more for a shorter trip. DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE JUST IN IT FOR THE MONEY. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED WITH A TRIP PLANNER and COMPANY. Disgusted.

The water taxis are free for everyone - resort and park guests and non-guests. The water taxis have both inside and covered outside seating. When traveling between Magic Kingdom and Wilderness Lodge, we prefer the scenic trip across the lagoon via the water taxi (the bus ride is just a bus ride). To go to Magic Kingdom, take a short walk along the tree-lined elevated boardwalk from the Wilderness Lodge to the boat dock. The water taxi will drop you off in front of the Magic Kingdom entrance (no need to use the Monorail, ferry or tram to get to Magic Kingdom).

I reached out to Ramon several months before our trip to Disney to get some help figuring out the best plan of action for a princess obsessed 3 year old. He was extremely helpful in suggesting appropriate theme parks, restaurants and other activities. And then I hired Ramon to be our "concierge" for a day at Hollywood Studios. When we met Ramon I was feeling a bit frazzled after our first solo day at Magic Kingdom. My usual daredevil 3 year old had decided she was suddenly afraid of everything and was extra cranky thanks to a cold. We were making our way to "voyage of a little mermaid" when she burst into tears that she was now scared of Ariel. Sigh. Ramon didn't even flinch and suggested we instead meet Woody and Buzz from Toy Story. My daughter was all smiles again and as soon as she started to get fussy in the very short line he pulled a book of princess stickers out of his magical bag and stopped yet another meltdown. Disney is anything, but calm...but Ramon himself is cool as a cucumber. The 4 hours we spent with him were actually relaxing. He had a great plan in mind based on his knowledge of Hollywood Studios. Because of him we never waited in line longer than a few minutes and managed to do everything we wanted to do in half a day...and make it back to the hotel in time for naptime (mom and dad sure needed a nap too!). I originally worried it would be weird to have someone with us on our family vacation, but Ramon was a pleasure to have with us. He also did a great job of being helpful, but let us have our family time. We did all the rides, attractions and lunch on our own...and he was waiting for us after with a smile. And when my husband wanted someone to ride a roller coaster with him he was more than happy to help out. Disney is always fun, but can definitely be overwhelming (especially during the holiday season). However, it really will be the happiest place on earth if you invite Mr. Disney along for the ride.

Sure, he brought us Starbucks one morning and did a neat trick with Soarin' with the kids, and waited in line for us for the Frozen Princesses. Oh, and dinner ran late one night past our fastpass time and he managed to get us in. -- BUT so not worth the money we spent for having him 5 days!!!! It might be different if he actually put the phone down and walked with his clients instead of leaving them. He did have a friend help him, Mary, who did a better job than he did. At least she actually made sure our party stayed together! Save your money and don't use Theme Park Concierges! You definitely won't be treated like VIP. I just wished someone would have mentioned something before I made the mistake of using Ramon for 5 days!!!!!
