My son and I came here for brunch on Memorial Day. We split a veggie skillet which included a layer of home fries with sautéed vegetables and poached eggs on top. It was delicious! I have two complaints though. The extra plate that was brought out had two chips in it- see pics- and the staff was super loud behind the bar where they work. We've gone three separate times and it just doesn't rise to the level of saying this is really good. The last issue was when I ordered a BLT and the T was one paper thin tomato. The young boy asked me if I wanted extra tomato. I said no extra tomatoes, just what comes on the BLT. I got an up charge for a small plate with two sliced tomatoes on the bill haha. I've been to this location a few times and this most recent visit has inspired a review. For context, I'm not a huge fan of the chain, as the food is passable, but not great. My rating of three stars is a rounding up and encompassing the service staff, which are kind and attentive. While service for today's visit was great as usual, the food was really not great. I ended up getting their special. The CROISSANT BURGER - Two 4oz. smash patties topped with American cheese, caramelized onions, applewood smoked bacon, crispy hash browns, fried egg, and creamy hollandaise. Served with your choice of side. What I got was a croissant that was beaten up, and a sandwich that was dry, lacked any sauce or seasoning. The fries even tasted like a freezer. The newest location in the Canopy Road family. And, in my opinion, it's the nicest one in Tallahassee. Bright, airy, lots of natural light. Booths, tables, counter seating and a private room. Fantastic service. And plenty of parking. The menu is the same at all locations, so if you've been to another location you know what to expect. If you've not been before, you can expect an extensive menu of breakfast and lunch items. Today we went for breakfast. I had two pancakes with a side order of hash browns. The pancakes are delicious. Good sized, slightly sweet, and hot off the grill. The hash browns were perfectly crispy. My wife ordered a make-your-own skillet over hasbrowns that was big (it comes with 3 eggs) and looked delicious. The coffee was also hot and my cup was quickly refilled. Service was outstanding. This part of town has needed a great breakfast spot and Canopy Road is filling that need. I look forward to many repeat visits. read more

The food was great. Hot, fresh, we didn't wait long for that. If you're a big party, maybe just avoid this restaurant. They have a lot of kinks to still work out, which I completely understand having worked in food & customer service for 10+ years and kickstarting a restaurant from the ground up at one point. I get it, I do. That being said, the hostess' need to work on their customer service and how they speak to customers. And you should probably also speak to your staff about coming out to confront and shame your customers, trying to act big and tough while shifting the blame onto the customers for the way that the restaurant staff handled everything. Our server, Jacob, was wonderful and the food was good. Unfortunately, we will not be back and will also be letting people know not to dine at this establishment. Took my Veteran here for breakfast today around 10 am. It was busy which was expected since it was a holiday. We were seated immediately which we found strange since there was so many people waiting but was thankful since it was just two of us. Unfortunately we sat for 20 mins before anyone acknowledged us. Food was okay, not bad but nothing to get excited about, however service was terrible and felt like there was nobody in charge, sadly the staff just didn't care.
