Just went today and we used to go here for Jerri's. The menu is so fun. I was blown away at how good everything was. I got the prime rib handheld and I wish I had more space in my stomach just for the flavors. My fiancé got the huevos rancheros but we just ended up sharing everything because of how good everything was. I got the crab bisque as a quick appetizer and I wish I got a bowl. We also got the mimosa flight and the flavors were great. I would get it again just because I like sampling different flavors. We are coming back asap because there's so much more to try on their menu. If you enjoy amazing steak and French onion soup you NEED to try the prime rib sandwich bc I'm not even a big sandwich person and it was awesome. Plus the service was 10/10 our waitress was on point and had the best recommendations. You just need to get there early because they make things fresh so get a nice drink, enjoy the fresh air, and you will have the best food. read more

This is a really popular place on a Sunday. We were seated immediately though since we were willing to sit outside. Our server, Lance, was able to answer all of our questions about the menu, and was generally pretty cool. My friend ordered eggs with week cooked white and runny yolks, but the whites came out undercooked. My chicken salad sandwich was on point, though. It was a good size for the price I'd eat here again if I were in the area. read more

I finally had a chance to visit this new cafe in the old Jeri's location. They have utilized the space well and decorated the patio and interior with a southern charm theme dainty flowers and plants. Service was exceptional as I needed to reschedule my reservation and I was promptly accomodated. My friend and I were checked on throughout our meal as I dined on a delicious iced chai tea latte, gouda cheese grits and madame croque. Everything was exceptional. I will be back. Was aware of the opening of this new cafe in town and finally got around to eating here. My daughter and I wanted to try it out for our pre-Mother's Day brunch/lunch. When we walked in, we were asked if we had made a reservation (we had not); however, a table in the front section became available almost immediately and we were seated within five minutes. We would have sat in the patio area, but it was raining a bit, so all of the patrons were inside. Our waiter was awesome! We started off with sharing the petal pastries - melt in your mouth good! My daughter was feeling more "lunchy", so she ordered the chicken salad sandwich with chips (along with her drink, lol). I ordered the shrimp and grits, which were delicious! My daughter really enjoyed her sandwich as well. The service and the food were great. All of the mothers were given a specially signed Mother's Day card, which I thought was super sweet. I also appreciate being asked (by the owner or the manager??) if everything was ok/if we were enjoying our food - and we were! :o) I do plan to return but will make sure I am seated in another area if we sit inside. Having a table up front with everyone walking by was not a great fit for me. Plus, there was a large group waiting to be seated and it was a bit crowded in the area for a time. While dining, some of the smoke from the delicious food that was being prepared caused my eyes to burn just a tad bit. The front area is not very spacious and appeared to be a bit tighter with having someone stand in front of the cooking area to grab the orders to pass on to the waiters; as a side note, it may be a good idea to have on gloves for this part. In any case, we certainly plan to return and have spread the word about the food and the service. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu! read more

Amazing place for breakfast/brunch. I tried making a reservation online but encountered an issue so called them. They were very helpful and took our reservation over the phone. We arrived the next day for our reservation and were seated promptly. We chose to sit inside but they do have very nice patio seating as well. Everything we ordered was so good. The consensus is they have the best cheesy grits in town so make sure to order them. Excellent specialty coffee and drink options and wonderful menu. Portions are the perfect size. My husband brought me here for Mother's Day. They had special offerings that day but even their regular menu is nice! We sat outside as it was a beautiful day but just remember summer is right around the corner - however admittedly I'm not a fan of the interior (if you're from Tally you know several restaurants have inhabited this location). I ordered 2 small plates: blueberry muffins & eggs & pastry. The eggs & pastry were so good. My hubby ordered steak & eggs (I believe it was on the special menu) & I did taste the steak!! Very good. I also got the tiramisu iced latte & my husband tried their honey cake. It was delightful but I did think the cake itself was a bit dry. This place is GREAT! We went there when it was raining and the hostess and I think maybe the owner/ manager were so nice to accommodate everyone even though half of their seating is outside. The ambiance is nice. I love that a bookstore was upstairs. And although it was crowded with some very loud guests, I had no problem hearing the people at my table. It was crowded and our food was kinda slow arriving at our table, but it was well worth the wait. The eggs Benedict was practically perfect . We are a Southern family and we are very picky about grits. So when my husband substituted grits for hashbrowns, we were not expecting the taste. They maybe better than my home cooked! read more

The staff, service, and food are outstanding. We did a Google search to find a restaurant that served Brunch. Our family of four adults were in town for Mother's Day'. The Gouda Shrimp and Grits were delicious and the BEST we ever had ! Whenever we in Tallahassee, FL again, this will be our go to place. Food was very aesthetically pleasing, food was nothing to write home about in terms of taste, the French onion soup has good potential but is very salty, the crab bisque is one of the best crab bisques I've had in Florida, the grilled cheese wasn't anything remarkable and the club was half avacado and half the rest of the toppings, so definitely good for people who LOVE avacado (not us unfortunately but it was good still, our server was sweet but hardly came bye so I never really had the chance to ask why 3 tables sat after us got food first nor did she really say anything about it but I also understand being anxious and avoiding confrontation especially since servers deal with so much so I can excuse it, but also it's still your job to communicate with customers so i can understand why it's taking so long to give grace, other than that the restaurant was super cute and I'm glad to see it's gradually improving read more

This establishment is quaint and hidden away where parking is scarce, they even have a dumpster blocking the handicap spot??? Meanwhile the ambience is nil and the service was average at best. The food was just ok, for some that's ok ? The bill was O U T R A G E O U S ! Let me start by saying TIFFANY was AMAZING! Yes, now comes the low down: 1. Made reservation online for 12:30 pm,( seating for patio) had to pay a deposit of $50(which is refundable after you show up for reservation, on your check) for 2 people, and deposit goes up based on the number of people in your party, interesting...never have I run into this and I've eaten all around the world. 2. We arrive a little before our time, they have valet parking, but they CAN'T drive a stick(manual), so we had to park our own car(little to NO parking available). 3.Entry is thru the patio door, host greeted us as we standing by the open kitchen concept, where we honestly could have reach out and grabbed ourselves some bacon(big pan, no cover) as well as other pans of food again not covered. 4. While waiting to be seated, the curly dark haired "Chef", grabbed 2 hamburgers with hands over the top of them to put them on open plates that were already waiting under the heat lamp.When the chef noticed I kept looking at him cooking without gloves, he finally put on black gloves. 5.We were seated(12:28pm) at an inside table even though our reservation was for the patio, upon arriving at a table in the corner at the back of the restaurant, the table was sticky and water? marks all over it, we told our waiter, Jadon, wiped the table down.6. We ordered our drinks and food, drinks: Coke Zero and "The Brit", soda was flat and "The Brit" the Prosecco was flat about 1/4 way into the drink, tasted like a old/non bubbly, we had to request repeatedly to get refills on the Coke Zero. Food:, We order the Prime rib sandwich( Husband said it was good, nothing special)), chicken salad on a croissant and a side Caesar salad, we waited, waited waited...then we were told that they had a 30 party on the patio and the kitchen was backed up @1:12pm; we finally received our food @ 1:18PM, chicken salad(Very tasty, all white meat) sandwich croissant was hard, cold and old,(tasted like something one might get @ Costco), my fruit cup looked sad, but my husbands bagged chips weren't any better. Dear Sunday is a wonderful and new brunch spot here in midtown, and is super popular at the moment! Be prepared with the team as the overwhelming support from the local community can be a lot for the amount of tables available. Some reviews are very mad about the wait time, but in a Saturday at 10:30 the wait was only 20 mins. I would say if you can come a little later or on weekdays the wait time is less. The food was incredible and I will definitely be coming back with friends and family! read more
