I found Dorean when I came across one of her cake smash pictures on Pinterest. I fell in love with the photo - it was exactly what I had pictured for my daughters pictures. I got in touch with her, and from there everything else just fell into place. She was up front with providing her package information, session fees and deposits. Everything was perfectly laid out and super easy to understand. We were in contact many times before my session, she always was available for questions and was very hands on when needed and involved in helping me create the vision I had for the session. The day of my session, my always very happy go lucky daughter decided she was not at all interested in having her picture taken and preferred to stay glued to my leg crying for an hour. Dorean was so patient and understanding, and being a mom herself knows these things just happen sometimes. So after a little break, we came back and had an AMAZING session! We were concerned because they are usually very expensive for nothing super special. Then my wife happened upon Chelsea Lietz's Photography. Not only were the prices very reasonable, but her photos were simply gorgeous. We ended up getting the "Belly to Baby" package which was two photography sessions one a short 45 minute Maternity session, and the second a 3 hourish newborn photography session. The maternity session blew our minds away, we were so pleased with how laid back she was, how professional she seemed, and most importantly how organized, and timely she was. She asked us if there was anythign we wanted and we mentioned our tattoos, and she delivered with what is one of my favourite photos of me and my wife. We were super pleased with the maternity session, and everyone in our family and freidns on facebook loved the photos. We thought it couldn't get better than this. WE WERE WRONG!! Chelsea has a plague on the wall of her studio that says "Baby Whisperer" this is not an exagerration. She handled our 1 week old newborn so well that we immediately trusted her with our baby so much that my wife and I both fell asleep due to the comfortable environment, and the absolute trust we had in Chelsea. Then the Photos came.... They were simply stunning! She focused on the baby like she should, but still managed to get a couple of pictures with my wife and I with the baby.
