    4 tacos for 12 euros. that's 3 euros a pop!

Again, i'm grading this on a Barcelona scale, which gets stars for some effort, but would really be a messicant in LA Decor: it had some of the requisite elements that make this restaurant feel like a beachside cantina. the mexican/spanish tiles, brightly colored sidewalk tables, red, white & green paper flags strung across the ceiling... food: my friend got the nachos (9,50 euros ???!!!???) he was served a plate of tortilla chips, and a bowl that was half melted velveeta, half some sort of jarred tomato sauce trying to be a salsa. with a couple of sliced jalapenos on top. The description however said cheddar cheese... this was not cheddar cheese. DO NOT ORDER NACHOS HERE! at $9 it would be a rip-off... but we're talking euros... so for about $13 he got a plate of tortilla chips, velveeta, and not even rosarito brand salsa from a jar. blech! I ordered a plate of 4 tacos. (12 euros). the plate did come with a salad. and despite my request for no cheese or crema in any of my tacos, the 2 slices of corn on the cob were topped with some type of dairy (eye roll). I also got a tiny little cup of black beans, and a tiny cup of pico de gallo (both of which should have been included in the nachos for that price). The meats were fine, but that taco plate, for about $16? no way. overpriced for what it was. Service: When we went in to pay, we saw there were all of the extra salsa bottles, stored on a table. I'd have totally added the spicy verde sauce to my tacos - but upon dropping off our plates, our server promptly rushed off. so not only did we not get asked if we wanted/needed anything, we had to go inside to pay. Service - not that great in general, but we're in spain. I'm not sure what the recommended dishes are, but if they can't get the basics right, what can they do right? 1 star for attempting mexican food 1 star for decor 1 star for, uh... hmmm... there are 3 stars... what's the 3rd for? hmmm... i know there must be something else, but i'm drawing a blank now. It's not for the EPA... oops? (thanks to Rick Perry) oh - and one more strange thing... the ladies bathroom was full of little gnats/ flies... ewwww. I should really downgrade this to a 2 star review but i'm feeling generous right now.

Fantastic food. I have been many times and I love the beer with margaritas ice cube. The place is in the heart of Gràcia .

Pros: deco, food presentations, portions. Cons: food didn't taste as it looks, food over priced. The tostada de ceviche Verde taste funny. The tostada de pollo, chicken taste like tuna. Guacamole taste like nothing.

They're light, buttery, and filled with just the right amount of cream, truly irresistible. And if you're a chocolate lover, their chocolate version is equally divine (you might just need to get both, trust me). But my absolute favorite treat here is the pan dulce con manzana. The buttery layers, the delicate apple slices caramelized just right, and the subtle sweetness make it the perfect pastry. Pair it with a strong espresso and you've got the ideal way to start your morning in Barcelona. The best part? You don't have to stop at breakfast. I always recommend grabbing one of their fresh bocadillos en pan casero to enjoy later in the day, or picking up one of their panes artesanos to savor at home, simple, rustic, and delicious even on their own. Forn Puiggròs isn't just a bakery, it's a ritual. Go in the morning, enjoy something sweet with your coffee, and leave with bread that will make the rest of your day even better.

There were six of us, so we kind of caught them by surprise, but the staff didn't miss a beat. They took good care of us with friendly and efficient service. The pastries were absolutely delicious, and the cappuccinos were spot on--just the perfect start to the day. Overall, Forn is a great little spot near Sagrada Familia for breakfast, and I recommend it if you're in the area.
