When Canton Car wash originally opened they were great but so far this summer they have been awful! I do have a dog so there is some hair in my car but they were always able to get a majority of it out. Now they do not even try. They just want you buy the dog hair package for another $50. Not what I would consider a complete detail, however my car looks much better than when it came in! Service was fast (came at 9 a.m. during the week). I have a hybrid which they do for half price, although they don't advertise that discount, so I paid 18.50 for full service platinum. Will definitely do this at least once a month read more

First and Last Time! I prefer to not post reviews, but this was just a terrible experience all around! First time through, the back of my suv was still dry, and dirty from yesterday's rain. Second time through, you could still see the road grime kicked up on the sides of my vehicle and the back was still dirty. When I called attention to it, one guy rolled his eyes and walked off. (multiple other people around me were also complaining to him about their cars) I flagged down a guy who appeared to be a manager. I told him that I was going to be late picking my daughter up from dance if I didn't leave soon, and that I just wanted my money back...he ran off to check on something. He came back and told me that they could wash it a third time and vacuum it a second time, but that they couldn't refund me because they had already washed it twice. Which I'm not sure how that matters, since it was still dirty! But I certainly won't be giving them any more money in the future!!! I just wish I could give less than one star... And to top it off...I was late picking up my daughter and arrived to a scared little girl! Not cool! read more

I Don't understand all the hate reviews I have visited the abingdon location multiple times. And many other full service washes. They typically do a great job. There may be a few minor missed spots that can be over looked by the people detailing the car but please keep in mind it's NOT a full DETAIL job it's a wash. If you want to not spend money on a interior cleaning they offer FREE vacuum's micro fiber clothes tireshine windex and armor all. You can't expect a FULL detail for 40 That is not what this is detailing is more in the 90-95 dollar range. Want to save money get the 16 and then clean inside yourself. If the auto car wash missed a spot and your that picky go wash your car by hand these systems have gotten better but aren't great and depending on make and model works better for some and worse for others. As for employee attitude that should always be brought up with management if you had a unpleasant experience at any establishment. Car washes like this are great ways to get a quick wash with fairly high results but to go in to this experience expecting a full professional detail job is crazy and that's on the customer in my opinion for not seeing what this is. It's a nice car wash better than the run down pull in and washes that are in the areas. Just realize that it's not a full detail and a higher end wash that you don't have to lift a finger but may have a few spots that might erk you. No one will clean your car like you would cause it's your space. If you spend 95 on full in depth detail then yea I would be pissed at some of the issues stated. read more

Very disappointed. I had heard great things about the original Canton Car Wash and was very excited when the new one opened in White Marsh. What a terrible experience. I paid for the external wash - the staff was very unfriendly. I didn't really understand the pricing and the staff acted like they had no time to explain it. I entered the wash and everything started as usual. However, once we were inside and covered in soap, everything stopped. I had no idea what was going on. We were literally stuck inside for more than 10 minutes. My kids started to panic. I finally called them from my cell phone and told them to come get us out. Apparently there was a short and everything went off. Not sure why I had to call them to tell them this. Once we were finally out, they didn't even apologize or offer any consolation for the experience. To top it off, my car really didn't look any cleaner than if I paid $8 at the gas station to go through the automatic wash. Won't be wasting time or money there again. read more

Just came back from the place and somehow, my car was scraped and they insisted and guaranteed it was there before. Do I need to take a picture of my car every time I bring it for car wash just to prove that something that was not there suddenly appears and they have a camera (they said) that shows something else. This is the 2nd car they damaged and for that I will tell my friends and family to not go there anymore. The first time, they scraped and dented my daughter's brand new car. It's weird because when they first opened, they really did a great job, now, not only do they do a halfway decent job but they can damage your car and not own up to it. The only good thing I can say is that their worker bees are pleasant and courteous. But management and supervisory, no comment! I guess I will go back to where I used to get my car washed before I started going to this place. read more

I have been a member for almost 1 month now. I am very pleased with how my car looks, Amy and Chris are the 2 managers that i have interacted with and they have been great. The first time i came in Paige helped me choose what was the right package for me, not the most expensive, since i have a 2014 car that i dont eat in and i dont smoke it is not too hard to keep looking like new. I used to have a membership in Belair but i am so much happier with Canton Car Wash!! I have brought my wifes car in for a full clean and express wax and my parents car that is used once a month for a clean couldnt be happier hope it stays like this. read more

This review is about the staff..I have always gone the the Ponca location so I'm familiar with the service. I happened to be in White Marsh so I decided to run through the car wash. I hopped out my car so they could do the interior, they finished and I left and went to the mall. When I got inside the mall I realized I had left the $500.00 that I withdrew from the bank right before I went to the carwash was in the ashtray. As I walked back to my car all I could think of was "the money is gone"..when I got back to my car there it was still in the ashtray. Now I say this to say I have been to car washes and and used valet parking and noticed change missing from my ashtray. Not to assume all car wash workers steal, but we all know the world we live in..I called back and spoke to the manager Chris and told him that I just wanted to thank the staff and employees who washed my car for their honesty and integrity. First Time, LAST Time... Went there on 11/29 to get info on the clay bar detail, compound and wax. J told me he could "fit me in today" but I may have to wait longer than the two hour usual. I opted for the next day, 11/30/17 because he said with an appointment the time would be 2 hours. Now I know things happen and things might take a little longer but when I arrived back at 1:00 for my 10:45 drop off, (had 11:00 appt.) my truck had not been touched. What they are good at is making excuses, too many techs went to lunch, we are short handed today... J said they would "get right on it" and use a group to get my truck done ASAP. I agreed and went inside to watch. At no time did anyone else help, one guy busting his hump to try and get it done. As other replies on here suggested, I went to "J" to find out why? I was offered(and given) a $30 gift card for the screw up. I did however just want what my $150 was supposed to achieve. Three hours and forty two minutes after my 11:00 appt. supposedly it was done. The Tech I guess did his best, my truck was dirty, but hey, that's why I took it there! I have black streaks on the sides and bugs in the grill. BTW, they double teamed an F-250 PU next to mine and got it done before mine, after starting later. Guess I didn't rate. Will be giving away the gift card. I was VERY disappointed in my car wash today. I definitely did not get $42.00 worth plus a $5.00 tip. While the car was in the bay being wiped down I saw one person take their wet boot and put it on my rear door trim and then didn't wipe it off. Second, the person vacuuming the car took my floor mat out and banged it right at the car, with dirt flying, on my clean car. The car looked really nice but once I got into the sunshine I noticed what a (third) horrible job was done on all my windows. They were smeared and all the inside windows were poorly done. I didn't have time to go back because I had to go to work. When I got to work I redid all of my windows (and mirrors) and that helped; still not as good as I had wanted them. This is my second time at Canton Car Wash and even though it is convenient I probably will NOT go back. Yes, they have nice amenities inside and the people seem nice but even though they have a "team" of people working on your car the workmanship was very poor. read more

I recently got a new HRV and SOMEHOW, there are scratches on it, God only knows from where (this is why we can't have nice things). So I asked my mechanic about a place that could buff out these minor scratches and he suggested Canton Car Washes clay bar. Had I read the yelp reviews beforehand, I probably wouldn't have gone. Seems as though no one has had a good experience there but when I went, they were SLAMMED. I was a little overwhelmed cause its huge and fairly new. Also, if its your first time, there is no direction from staff outside. So I was already frustrated because my basically new car had recently gotten a huge scratch, which I could tell wasn't deep, just really long (And I have a black car so you could see the ridiculous white line) Upon parking in a "bay" spot that I hoped was acceptable, I went into the coffee bar/register area (pretty weird) where a sales associate was clearly struggling to do something on the computer, to which the manager Zack was helping him. Upon being asked what I could be helped with, I mentioned the scratches and the manager immediately escorted me to a spot where he personally buffed them out, occasionally talking over his ear piece saying "I am currently with a customer", so it was nice to not be shoved off to someone else, mid service. The guy was busy for sure. But not once did he make it seem like my requests to remove scratches here, here, here and maybe there, were a burden. When we got to the big boy scratch, he passed the piece of equipment to a guy (Romero, I believe?) who looked all of 16. I started to panic because I didn't want my paint to get screwed up. The manager said that Romero has more experience with this tool that apparently, if you don't use it right, can screw up your car. I appreciate his honesty: being a good leader means knowing your short comings and Id much prefer 16 year old Romero, who does this on the daily, to buff out this crazy scratch then his manager try to be a hero and ruin my car. When it was all said and done, Romero knocked it out of the park. I was so impressed and the manager didn't leave until he knew the job was done to my satisfaction. He even threw in a basic wash, to put the cherry on top of the experience. I wish the guy drying my car would have paid a little bit more attention because I left with some yellow tape on my bumper (they tape down your windshield wipers if you go in the machine for a wash) and a few water spots that I ended up wiping off myself. But, I will definitely go back even though the prices seemed steep. Seems like they are very focused on customer satisfaction, maybe due to all the previous bad reviews? Recommendation: wait for an "off" hour so you don't have to fight the crowds. read more
