I loved every minute of it. MENTAL HEALTH NOTE: I recently weened off my antidepressant and have had some serious mood swings ever since. In short, we found this place bc I told my fiancé I just wanted to break stuff or do something exhilarating to feel alive (because that's how I used to deal with big feelings as a young adult). Coming here allowed me to release some of the rage that's been building up and it let me tap into that feeling of power/strength when you're destructive. Im so glad they created an environment where I could break sh*t without ruining my own stuff or dealing with the aftermath. "He" or "she" not sure it's pronouns but "the manager" was helping me the day prior with a trade in. I told they/them I was on the range USA website and was given an offer of 390.00. It told me best it could do was 350.00 with seeing the rifle. I returned the following day and met with a "senior sales associate" that has never heard of the very obscure and rare weatherby rifle. He gave me a quote for the rifle at 300.00 so I chuckled and asked can you talk to someone because I just talked to a guy that told me to bring it in and he could get me more but he had to see it. The senior sales associate walked away for 2 seconds and came back and told me that was the best he could do. He said the website usually can give more than they can and said if I'd like to I could speak with "the manager" so I walked over he looks up from his phone and laughs in my face "I told you what I could give you yesterday day bud" looks back down and finished his statement to his staff and walks away. I'm not sure how range USA does business but it seems like they have an ego problem there or maybe just a case of poor management. I will say there was an older man that had a medical emergency a few minutes after I arrived and the whole staff went into a complete meltdown panic. I hope you take my experience and stay far away.

During his one day of employment here, one of the customers decided to make fun of my husband. My husband suffers from Schizoaffective and Bipolar disorder as well as PTSD. It was hard enough for him to just show up and walk through the doors without being picked on. The older gentleman that made rude comments basically called my husband stupid because the man thought he needed help washing the windows. The man that was with my husband was from Ohioans with Disabilities and he was only there as moral support. This older man said, "is it really that hard to wash windows that you need someone to hold your hand while you do it? That's pathetic." Nobody stood up for my husband and he left immediately full of shame and regret. He felt less than as if he did something wrong. It is sad that you cannot even have a safe haven at your local YMCA. It is not the YMCA's fault this man said those nasty things, but nobody made him feel safe after. There were a few employees standing around that did nothing. What has this world become where we just blindly judge another human being? To the man the was rude... I wish I could give you just one day in my husband's shoes. He forgave you almost immediately, I am not so forgiving. Shame on you and the people that witnessed this injustice. Mob mentality at its finest. I fully believe in Karma.
