It is a very well designed concept- you work out at one of 9 stations for 3 minutes in succession. This means there are no set start times, but you still get the advantages of a directed workout. The owner was on site and was super welcoming and was encouraging without being overbearing. My partner works out probably ten times per week, and she enjoyed it. I am super out of shape and also enjoyed it, so it is definitely great regardless of fitness level. The owner explained the workouts and was very helpful, but I never felt stupid or out of place. At the end of the class, the owner explained the membership options. He was very clear and open and didn't pressure us. In a sea of fitness options, 9Round stands out and is a great option.

I understand the temperature taking and hand sanitizing upon entry, but signing a paper waiver for every class is overkill, and a waste of paper since there are electronic waivers nowadays. Each bag is positioned in the corner of a taped off rectangle. You are not permitted to move around your bag or hit it and allow it to swing past your taped area, which is almost impossible. Some bags have a beam in the way which gives you even less space, since you need to keep your gym bag, shoes and mat in your little area. They did away with all the kickboxing, strength and mma classes so it's strictly 45 minute boxing classes now. AND you have to sign up in advance and cancel a whopping 8 hours prior to the class or you get charged $15!! If you pre register for a morning class and wake up with a migraine you're screwed. If you wait till morning to sign up then the class is full, so you're screwed! Did I mention there are no fans? The biggest bummer is they won't allow their customers to use the restroom--at all!! Yeah, closing the water fountain is one thing; you can bring your own water, but humans, especially those that drink a lot of water and have had children, NEED to use the toilet after jumping around! Just wanted to share this info with those who may be interested in this place.

It is a great workout and he moves slow enough for everyone to follow. He works with each person one on one and then moves around the group. It is fun and a great workout. I would recommend this to anyone. It is perfect for people who just want to workout or learn boxing. They also offer martial arts and kick boxing and all that jazz too. Plus the staff is really nice and they know me by name. That is pretty cool! They have beginner packages that are super affordable. The other packages are flexible and they have enough choices to fit your budget and needs. Give them a try, the first class is free! Seya Wednesday night!

To kick off their grand opening they offered free classes for the entire week. They offer personal training, boxing, yoga, trx, weight loss, and boot camp classes. The gym is very open and the public walking by can see everything that is going on inside. The thought of being a window display for mall walkers terrified me and almost made me turn around before walking in. I am glad I didn't though and gave it a try. The employees were friendly and our trainer teaching the TRX class was welcoming and made us all feel comfortable. After warming up I didn't even notice the people walking by and was too focused on the workout to pay attention to anything else. I am not a fan of going to group classes and often feel like I get a better workout by myself, but the small class sizes (12 people) didn't allow for any slacking off or feeling like you didn't know what was going on. Classes run $15 a class and I will definitely like to be put on display there again :)
