Dr. Joel and his team are amazing! I was referred by my fiancée. Initially, I didn't think I needed to see a chiropractor. I researched online and realized the many benefits of seeing a chiropractor regardless of whether or not you have issues. I dont even know where to begin! Dr. Kristen is a miracle worker. If you need a chiropractor, she is the one.

I have been to many chiropractors in my young life and Dr. Favreau is definitely an exception. His clinical knowledge is extraordinary, his practical knowledge is outstanding. Great hands, dam good adjuster, and definitely knows what he is doing. I didn't know that bad posture can cause so many problems, after a couple months with Dr Favreau, I almost felt taller, as a matter of fact i think I did get a little taller. Pain in my neck and mid back started to fade, and eventually went away completely. The proof is in the results. Bring the family or someone you care about, if you know they need help, these guys have a good plan. read more

I can't say enough about this practice. I was very nervous to get adjusted for the first time but was getting daily headaches and neck pain that was plaguing my work day. Dr. Joel was so kind and explained everything very well and I felt so comfortable. After even the first few adjustments I was feeling way better, much less neck pain and my headaches were much less frequent. I've now been going there for about a year and they are so flexible with rearranging appointments and squeezing me in when something comes up. You can tell they truly care about helping people feel the best they can, I highly recommend going to them for all your chiropractic needs! I just reviewed these fine chiropractors on Google, but I am posting my 5 star review here on Yelp to help counteract the ignorant and nasty 1 star review from 2013 (which by the way starts off with the criteria for at least 3 to 4 stars- not sure how a doctor sharing their opinion can cause you to reduce your review rating by that much). You can see by reading everyone else's review here that this person is just being unreasonable. Doctors Favreau are both excellent. My wife and I have been going here for about five years. They've adjusted us to excellent health, but what's more, have become like family. They've been adjusting our son since he was conceived (believe it or not babies in-utero benefit from mom's adjustment) and every week for his entire life. He's 3.5 now, and even though he falls and hurts himself all the time, as kids do, he comes with us every week to get adjusted to ensure he's on the path to the best health he (and we) can have. Can't recommend CDC enough! Also we love Kara and Pam their receptionists, always kind, caring and helpful. read more

My 11 month-old son receives regular chiropractic care from Dr. Kristen as a vital component of his overall health picture. She truly has a gift with children which is readily apparent in the way she interacts with him. Her work is caring, compassionate, kind, gentle, and very effective. She also has a gift when doing cranial work, which, as an aside, is no doubt one of the reasons why we get regular compliments on the nice shape of his head. That's the cranial bones! Drs. Fantastic people at Canton Dale (and a good doggie too). The facility is nice, modern and clean etc, a comfortable environment. But I have a big problem with some of their policies there. And also the philosophy they have there is to keep coming in and coming in...and coming in. No matter how you feel...keep coming in. I also asked for some tips on how to strengthen, stretch or help my trouble areas. The answer to that is that you have to come Monday nights to a class they run (for free) to find those things out. Now, if I am at the doctors and he tells me I have high cholesterol, and I ask him how to keep it down, and he tells me "come back on Monday night and I will tell you", I would be pissed. Ask for tips at Canton Dale and your answer is "not yet, come by Monday night sometime" So, as I have been in bad pain recently, I tried a new chiro, who took away some MASSIVE pain in just one visit, and when I asked him for tips, he gave them to me. I am the customer and if I ask a question to the doctor, it should be answered there, not at another time. Canton Dale uses some strange methods to try and help reduce your pain/symptoms. None of them worked for me, that is when I finally said that I have to at least try another chiro before I judge this one. It ends up someone else knows how to remove my pain much better. Sorry, nice people and a great dog isn't enough. You need to answer the patients questions on the spot. Some people may not mind coming back "on Monday night", but it sure pissed me off to not have my questions answered, and when I mentioned this to other friends of mine, they totally agreed with me. So Canton Dale has some ways of doing things, and most people who go there perhaps don't mind, but I did. The idea is to take away the pain as quickly as possible. The bottom line is that I got very slow results at Canton Dale, and in some cases got no results. Then went somewhere else and was pain free in just one visit. If you want to have chiro visits twice a week for the rest of your life, then by all means go to Canton Dale. Any insinuation by Joel at Canton Dale that I give alot of negative reviews is just sour grapes. Look at the reviews, are they legitimate concerns with each place? Yes they are. The problem these days is that customer service is at an all time low. So ask yourself , would you prefer a chiropractor who heals your pain in one visit, or would you rather go somewhere that takes their time healing you, keeping in mind as well that your health insurance company only pays for a certain amount of visits. I want someone who cures my pain NOW. Canton Dale prefers to stretch things out. They say so themselves. read more

I've been a patient of chiropractic care since I was a kid. In eighth grade I injured my back and couldn't walk without extreme pain. After many trips to various doctors and specialists no one could come up with an answer, other than guessing it was a "pinched nerve". My parents brought me to their chiropractor as a last ditch effort and he had me feeling better immediately. I've been a believer ever since. I've gone to various chiropractors over the years, and while all were good, Dr. Joel and Dr. Kristen are by far the best ones I've been to. They listen, are thorough, and try to tailor their care to your specific needs. They also attend various conferences to stay up to date and have introduced new adjustment techniques that have helped me with "trouble areas" that others haven't been able to address in the past. My youngest son had an issue a few years back that caused tension in one of his shoulders and a strange movement when he ran. We didn't think anything of it at first, but after telling his pediatrician about it she recommended we go see a neurologist. Again, modern medicine couldn't come up with a solid answer and the doctor suggested it might be Dystonia, which is a movement disorder and can become degenerative over time. I didn't know this when I first heard it, but my wife who is a nurse understood what it meant immediately and naturally became upset. Just as my parents did when I was kid, we brought him to Dr.'s Joel and Kristen and after examining him they saw that he was very "locked up" in that shoulder and after a couple visits we saw significant improvements in his shoulder mobility and today he is your normal, energetic 7 year old who doesn't show any signs or symptoms of what we initially saw. We now bring all our kids to see them. I'm not disparaging modern medicine. It's critical, saves lives and the people who practice it are amazing individuals. That said, chiropractic care has been around for hundreds of years (if not longer) for a reason and like eating right, exercising and taking your vitamins, chiropractic care should be a part of your life. I can't say enough good things about Canton Dale Chiropractic and have referred many friends there and will continue to do so. read more

I wanted to write this review for a while but couldn't get time and I am glad I am writing this now. I took my Mom to this place for her neck issues. My mom was visiting me for a vacation so we didn't have enough time to finish entire program. They understood our situation and they have returned the amount very promptly. Highly professional. this is going to be brief because i never find time to actually write reviews (with 2 kids, self-employeed, too much fun stuff to do) BUT.. i love them! joel and kristin are the best.. knowledgeable, personable, they go out of their way for their patients, principled, very skilled as well as having a beautiful spacious, well equipped office. and they are adorable as well, a family business, they bring their dog in who knows the clients and their families make regular appearances either helping out or getting adjusted. i followed joel there from a practice he was working at in cambridge when i became pregnant and my S.I. (low back) was completely out of whack. they had set up their own place which was great for them but sad for me not to have someone reliable close by.. so i drove about 45 min each way at least once a week for care there. crazy i know but i wouldn't have been able to walk, or sit, or lay for that matter!! with out their skilled care. they have a pregnancy table which was awesome (every pregnant woman wants to be able to lay on her belly and this afforded me that). also joel is very precise and has much finesse when it comes to adjusting the neck.. something i do not trust just anyone to do. they helped educate me on therapeutic things to try at home, passed on a wealth of info (some from their office library from which they let you take out books) on pregnancy, birth, child health issues. even their bathroom was inspiring! (check out the posters) he then also recommended some great chiropractors that would be more local to me postnatally. i'm truly grateful and much obliged to them. and miss them now that i've started seeing someone closer by! (disclaimer on the 5 stars: i am not an easily satisfied customer, i almost always find something to complain about.. in my yr plus of seeing joel and then joel and kristin in their new space regularly they gave me absolutely not the least thing to be able to complain about.. so thank you for that!! :) read more

Three Month's ago i suffered a severe injury to my lumbar. At times it was the most debilitating pain I've personally experienced. Fusion surgery seemed my only course of action and being that i never take pain meds the prospect of a wait and see recovery seemed excruciating. My employer had recommended cantondale as a buffer at first, to get me through till the inevitable cut and paste. Against the advise of my primary care and an orthopedic surgeon, i eventually turned down the surgery. Cantondale is the reason. Not only is it a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a kind and knowledgeable staff but I've seen such a dramatic improvement that even my doctor's agree that i made the right decision. I continue to seek treatment at cantondale and could not recommend any business more whole heartedly. Dr Joel saved me from years of recovery saved me from the sterile halls and sharp knife of my orthopedic surgeon. read more
