I can't leave zero stars but 1 star is too much. My wife and i ordered glasses 7 weeks ago. First mine arrived wrong frames. My wife's frames were lost then discontinued in the same week. So no glasses for her because you have one wall to look at for glasses and she hated all of them. My frames have a "rush" on them as it has been 3 weeks she tells me they are on the way. Call today. They haven't left the facility. They don't know shit what's going on. They can't tell you anything about you glasses so yet why order through them. Go somewhere else read more

The people answering the phone act burned out and unappreciative of the fact the patients calling for an appointment are in deed customers. Customers that pay your salary. Thus the need for customer service. When trying to get an appointment that fits my needs and I get an outward force of breath from the person making the appointment makes me want to find another doc. This wasn't the first time either. Get another job if you hate this one. The docs need to monitor this. It makes you look bad. read more

I have been going to see Canton Opthalmology for about 18 months. The care has been thorough and excellent. I have been followed by Retina Specialists and Ophthalmologists for 27 years for my eye problems. Every practice has it's good and bad, but the reality is that this is a medical practice, not an optometry practice. People do come into their practice with emergency eye problems that may require eye surgery or other care. If you choose to come in for a regular routine appointment for eye glasses and you have to wait, it is the price you pay to be seen by a well qualified physician for the problem you present with. I am willing to pay the price. If the wait is too long, the staff is happy to reschedule you, as I have been on one occasion. read more

I have been going here for years. Although the wait time is a little excessive, everyone has always been very nice and I have been treated well by Dr. Congeni. My daughter was treated by Dr. Barchiesi and I couldn't have asked for better service. She was only four when she got glasses and Dr. Barchiesi said she might outgrow needing glasses and she did about 8th grade. If you have time to wait, I would definitely recommend them. read more

Terribly rude!! A lady named Becky answered the phone and I explained the situation. She told me to call someone else and I did exactly what she told me. They told me to call back to Canton Ophthalmology. I tried to explain Becky what the other doctor's office had told me but Becky wouldn't let me get a word in. I kept begging her to please just listen but she still wouldn't let me speak. read more

While Ruth is great in contacts, it has been my experience that Drs. Barchesi and Congeni deny any issues with laser surgery problems and display absolutely NO compassion for problems. "Oh, well, it is what it is - nothing we can do". If you're getting that done, know that once you've taken the "mild" sedation, you may not have the assertiveness to say something if you're experiencing an issue before or during the procedure. DR. Barchiesi is rude and arrogant. She didn't come in to the office until almost 9:30, when I asked her about it she became defensive, and even tried lying to me. No one bothered to apologize or keep patients in the loop why we were waiting so long. I was the first appointment, why would I have to wait?!!? This office is way over booked.
