She was always available to answer all our questions. She also helped us resolve a lot of other big and small complications along the road. She is very resourceful, knows the market well, and has a great network of vendors for any type of repair or maintenance. I think Dave likes to hear himself talk and me, a woman who is 73 and owned 3 houses like he was selling, apparently didn't know anything. He cut me off mid sentence I don't know how many times and said: that's not important now. I finally refused to talk to him on the phone and made him write everything down. He recommended I lower the price of my house because of an electrical issue. When I called the city inspector he didn't think it was that big of an issue but Dave would not listen to me. Kept cutting me off. He told me that if I didn't 'negotiate' that the house would not sell and would have subsequent problems selling. So I told him to terminate the sale. The buyer then did a 180 turn around & bought it. Glad he sold the house but his lack of regards for anything I had to say caused me a lot of stress. I want to forget this whole experience. It seems this review was being held back..we'll see if it posts now.

The reason for the bumps in the road was because of the restoration company as well as the insurance adjuster that worked very closely with them. However, at the end, the house was sold, but it was for a lot less than the realtor suggested. The commission had changed as the realtor did not keep the promise initially when the transaction was dual-agency or one-agent situation with both the buyer and the seller. I ended up paying for the full commission, anyway!

WOw, what is my experience with this company?? Let me tell you…read more. I was searching for properties for my new cannabis business and I had to interact with them. There was a former cannabis business they were providing property to Danish Gardens. Danish gardens decided to exit the industry (due to lack of profit) and they quit their lease/purchase. GTK property management received a warehouse with 20k+ square feet setup with all the electric and air conditioning required to run and license a facility in Anchorage to grow cannabis. We are talking about 1-2 + Millions dollars in invesment in the asset (a/c and power, etc). This is when the industry was hot and everyone was looking for locations and grows to move on. There would have been 10 likely candadits that would have been hot to get the facility.. Heck there were ones building new facilities when this happened. GTK instead apparently decided to hire a company to pull out (remove) all the the tenant improvements (AC/electrical) $1-2 million in improvements. This was so they could rent it as a warehouse instead of cannabis facility. As far as I know from talking to them they hired a contractor to strip out all the improvements instead of calling any of a bunch of cannabis licensees and seeing if they wanted it. I don't have all the 411 but that seems super crazy that they didn't try and sell/rent it with all the stuff in it already..

I contacted her during COVID, months before I moved to Alaska. She answered me within an hour and after that, she kept in touch for months as I got ready to move. She spent a lot of time getting to know what I wanted. I arrived in the summer when the market was booming. Every agent in town was super busy, Leslie included. I knew that was happening and I had lowered my expectations. I was ready to do a lot of my own research and driving around. But Leslie had me seeing places the first weekend in town! She did a FANTASTIC job showing me places I might like. She never schmoozed me. She never tried to upsell me. Once we ran into another agent while seeing a place and he was a super schmoozy, slick kind of guy and it made me all the more grateful for Leslie's approach. When she showed me my place she said she thought I was going to like it--and sure enough, I loved it, and now it's mine. :) She knew exactly what I would love. The neighborhood, the price, the style, all of it. She remembered every little detail (for example--I wasn't interested in a townhouse or condo that didn't allow dogs). She walked me through the offer, counter-offers, loan, inspection, and more. She helped me get an early-occupy deal which I *really* wanted. When our first title company got delayed she found a new one! She didn't have to do that--it wasn't her fault the market was backed up. She would answer my texts at 10pm on Friday night, 9am Saturday, and everything in between. She knows a ton of people in Anchorage and she knows the town well. I hope to buy another place in a year or two and I wouldn't even consider using another agent!
