My sister and mom were in town visiting and we decided to check it Canvas and Grapes for an afternoon activity. We had SO much fun from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. The atmosphere and decor was amazing. It was so cute!Luis the head painter and our host was incredible. I thought we were going to maybe be tracing the image onto the canvas (as I have done that in previous paint studios) and we did not. We did everything free hand and he was an excellent teacher and was very helpful. There were several times where I thought I had ruined my painting and he helped me fix little mistakes which just added character and made it unique. There was an awesome playlist going the whole time that kept us excited and signing along (I wish I had a copy of it). I encourage everyone to try this place out and support this new business! Last week I had my "rehearsal dinner" at Canvas & grapes and I couldn't be happier that I made that choice. When canvas & grapes first opened, I attended a paint and sip night with two of my friends. Luis was the artist and also the owner/manager and after we finished painting our wine glasses (which was a ton of fun) we sat around and just talked... And that got me thinking. Not being traditional in our wedding at all, my fiancé and I wanted a rehearsal dinner that got people talking-- something different than your average dinner party. Luis was open to trying it out and so we booked the date. When I say Canvas and Grapes went above and beyond with my rehearsal dinner, I mean they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I'm still in awe. We brought in food & drinks, but the place doesn't need much. I kept decorations minimal... The inside is art as much as any of the paintings. Luis let me send him a painting I liked and customized it for our event. Everything was set up, clean, and neat. Then the fun started. It was basically like having a paint and sip nightclub. We got up and danced, we limbo'd, we laughed. It was nothing short of amazing and the fact that it happened at all will forever be one of my favorite memories. The next morning all I could think was "oh crap-- the standards have been set so high! Now the wedding has to be really good!" And called Luis to thank him. Everyone was talking about it... Everyone had fun. If you are considering Canvas and grapes for your rehearsal dinner or for any event, you really cannot go wrong here. I went with a large group on a Friday night and had a great time! The space is great and allows you to bring in your own food and drinks. There was plenty of room for everyone! The highlight though is the host, he is incredibly entertaining, enthusiastic and a great Singer. He was truly the life of the party and got everyone involved and in a great mood. This was such a fun experience! We were a party of 17 celebrating my Birthday, and we brought our own food and wine. They had cork screws and ice buckets (you need to buy or bring the ice). There were other smaller groups there as well and everyone had a great time! The owner is a very personable entertainer himself in addition to being an artist - and he made the night fun and entertaining for all! The staff was also very friendly and helpful (I think I saw a few friends getting some 'assistance' with their wine-glass painting!) and they even danced with us! Our wine glasses really look beautiful and we plan to go back again! Can't pass up another chance to sip, sing and paint! Give it a try! read more

I attended a wedding rehearsal dinner at Canvas and Grapes, and it was by far the most fun I've ever had any wedding rehearsal--or any small event. To start off, the place is absolutely gorgeous. I arrived early with the bride to get things set up, and the owners of Canvas and Grapes were so warm and welcoming--helping us quickly get things ready. The bride and groom were able to bring in their own alcohol and catering, which was also pretty amazing. They have a beautiful room in the back, which was set up with tables and chairs for dinner before we began painting. I expected to just follow along with the instructor to make my painting, but the whole night was truly an experience to be remembered. Besides the instructors being so fantastic at showing us what to do, they came around and helped us, cracked jokes, made us laugh, and were so warm and helpful. And when I thought we would just be painting, they went on to make the party even more fun by playing music--and the whole bridal party took breaks to dance to the Cha cha slide, Cuttin' Eye Joe, and even did a catwalk showing off our paintings. Oh, and there was also a limbo. I wish I could go back in time and have my rehearsal dinner at Canvas and Grapes. Such an enjoyable night to start off a beautiful wedding weekend. Luis and his team are amazing. As someone who is very very familiar with paint and sip studios, I had very high expectations. Boy, did they exceed them! We held our annual corporate event at the studio and we catered in some local food. The studio is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful paintings everywhere. The set-up for food and bev is adorable and so quaint. We really felt like it was our own space. Luis played a great assortment of eclectic music throughout, got everyone out of their seats, let us sing karaoke on stage and even had a mini dance party. It was amazing. I will 100% go back to this studio and i recommend ANYONE for ANY occasion to host their party here --it was a blast!!!! read more

Went with no expectations and was blown away! Had impromptu karaoke and runway modeled with out final product. The site is filled with handmade light installations and furniture to create a relax environment. You can tell a lot of love went into the idea of Canvas and Grapes!! Will be back again. read more

Such an enjoyable night! I went to take a friend as a low key night out before she got hitched. Luis was a great instructor and made the night so fun! The space is amazing, such a great atmosphere and vibe. I've done a few of these before, but this was much better than the other ones, very affordable too! my wife and i were gifted, by our children, with a couples night at canvas & grapes. i had been hinting that i wanted this gift because it seemed like such a great date night idea. i'm happy to report that we had a great time. Our instructor and her assistant were wonderful. We brought our wine, cheese, and crackers; so we're good there too ! So they set up a sample painting, already completed. And the teacher instructs, paints as she goes. Nice chill, relaxed pace. I can't wait to go back. read more

There is a reason why this place has five stars. They are super friendly right when you walk in. It is not that a very big place, but the decor and seating arrangement is set up in a beautiful way that makes it warm and welcoming. Needless to say that there are a ton of nice paintings. As for me, i had a few drawing skills, but i got to learn a few new tricks with the paint brushes. The owner and instructor was really good. It is a lot of fun as you can bring your own wine and snacks and enjoy a variety of music, great for a weekend afternoon out with the girls. Next time i will try their karaoke and paint night. I attended a work event at Canvas & Grapes in Morristown recently. I expected to enjoy the evening, but didn't anticipate how thoroughly entertained we would be. The art instruction was very helpful and concise and it really didn't matter if you could paint or not. We laughed, painted, socialized, danced a little and all left with a great painting to remember the evening by. The atmosphere is very cool and inviting, the staff vibrant and enthusiastic--you can't help having a GREAT time! read more
