I have really fine hair and it is extremely difficult for most stylists to cut properly. I checked out their Facebook Page and liked the pics of the styles, they had done for other clients and was quite impressed. Also I saw a comment on the page from a prospective client asking whom could do the best make over for someone. The answer that was given was anyone in the studio could do it without a problem. I thought was a really cool answer because none of the hair salons I have been to in the past could say the same. I called Moz and spoke with Cynthia and she assured me that she could cut, style and colour my hair without a problem and that she had a lot of experience with fine hair. On the day of my appointment, I was 10 minutes early and I spoke with Gail at the desk and she asked me to have a seat and went to get Cynthia for me. The hair salon itself is very clean, which is a big thing for me. All of the other stylists seemed to be enjoying themselves as they worked. They also 100% recycle all of the product packaging that they use in their salon, which is another important thing for me. Cynthia introduced herself and sat me in her chair. I told her, I needed a change, but not sure what, so I let her create a style for me. I was really pleased with the result and it was quite eye catching. Thanks Moz!

When I told her my wishes she didn't respect them at all when I told her what I wanted. She was so mean spirited that I even saw her being rude to one of the other women who worked there. I was shocked... Such a bad energy. The whole time I hardly said a word, while all the other girls chatted, I was sitting there uncomfortable and silent. I even turned over and started talking to another stylist because I was so bored and lonely. It was one of the most awkward and uncomfortable experiences I've ever had. The hair stylist didn't even try to get my hair blonde. I guess it's a way they can get more money by making you come twice, instead of doing it the one time. I asked to go blonde and I left with even darker hair. I went into the salon and asked how much it would cost like exactly, she said between $160-$180 so I saved $180, then when I was in the chair she said it was going to be $210 I told her I had exactly $180 as that's what she said. Then there was all sorts of problems at the register with my card I thought it was going to be $180 at the most, not the very least. I wish she at least listened to what I said when I said my ends needed a higher volume with foils and heat. If she wasn't going to use heat she could have at least used foils. I could have done the job at home tbh.
