Living in San Francisco and owning my own company, it is easy to fall into the rut of just wearing jeans and t-shirts to work everyday. I wanted to upgrade my wardrobe without feeling like I was getting dressed up every day. My wife had worked with Megan before and suggested that I work with her too. I wish I could give Megan more than 5 stars, she's that good. She's my secret weapon and my fashion lifeline. But more than that, she's completely improved my life and the way I get ready in the morning. Before Megan, I had no idea I was buying all the wrong sizes! She'll teach you how things a supposed to fit. As a busy professional, I was always struggling with what to wear, where to buy it, and how to wear it. She introduced me to easy looks that cut the time it takes me to get ready in half, and the amazing part is, despite taking half the time , I get more compliments than ever. I have had two experiences shopping with Megan and the latest in May 2016 was every bit as good as the first. This time I had two important occasions for which I needed to step up my style--stressful. Megan and I exchanged a number of emails as she gathered information about the events and my preferences and desires. She made a Pinterest board of suggestions that I perused and shared with my husband. Amazingly, her top choice was my top choice too. The day of our shopping trip she had pulled dresses in several stores. However her intuition was very finely tuned, and the first dress I tried on was almost perfect. She located a size down and it was a slam dunk--she even got a discount for me. When Megan pulled out a bright red cropped jumpsuit for the second event, it was something that I never would have chosen for myself in a million years--I tend to select muted tones and cuts. But this risk really paid off and I managed to rock the jumpsuit. She guided me through purchasing the right shoes and I happened to own the perfect bag. Megan is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She came over and looked at my closet and then we decided what I needed. I was in and out of downtown SF in two hours with a whole new wardrobe. That is unheard of. Kimberly is amazing! My wardrobe was in dire need of an upgrade, and Kimberly came to the rescue. We have gone shopping together twice, both of which were great experiences. She had many different outfits picked out in advance, so all I had to do was go to the dressing room and try things on. She has a great eye and is very easy to work with (and very patient with me!). She also works within my budget, which is appreciated! Most of all, though, she brings an extremely personalized approach and clearly cares deeply about her clients' happiness. For example, one item I bought for an upcoming trip ended up being defective. Kimberly called the store for me and got them to Fed Ex a replacement to my hotel, express delivery, at no charge! I worked with Megan for the first time this past spring and had a wonderful experience! She helped me clean out my closet as well as put together new outfits from current clothes in order to spice up my wardrobe. Then I met her for our shopping date at Bloomie's in the city where there was a whole rack of clothes that she had pulled the day prior, and all I had to do was try things on! I got some really amazing deals on the purchases I made, and I find that I wear each item of clothing regularly. When I recently emailed to see if she had any advice for a wedding guest dress, she sent me a link to a dress on sale, and I purchased it a couple of days later. When I told the sales person that "my personal stylist" recommended the dress, she was very impressed and said that she must know me really well! I was lucky enough to work with Megan. I started looking for a personal stylist after I felt it was time to update my wardrobe and didn't know where to start. I bought the package which included an initial consultation in my home then met her at the shops and then she came back to my home for a wardrobe clean out and helped me put together outfits with my new and old clothes. Overall a stressful experience to show someone your shopping choices and my complete inability to dress myself but Megan made it easy and painless. What I liked the best was that she didn't go crazy with styles I would never wear but every piece she recommended I was happy with and could not wait to wear, she showed me how to wear everything, she is not pushy, she is very understanding, listens and remained conscious of my budget. Overall a great experience and I am so glad I did it! I would honestly recommend her to my friends. Megan Zatko doesn't just know her stuff, she is fun to work with! After I had my first baby I felt like I didn't know how to dress anymore. I wanted to feel like me again, but with a fun twist. This is seriously worth the investment! About an hour in to our first session together, I told Megan that she had some sort of magic shopping pixie dust and I meant it. I'm not much of a shopper--department stores are too big, I find browsing tedious, and I usually end up only going when I desperately need something which of course means I'm stressed the entire time--but Megan made the experience beyond easy and even fun. I was worried about having someone "get" my style because although I don't love to shop, I'm very picky. I totally recommend Canvas Styling if you're looking to upgrade your wardrobe and your look. I worked with Megan, and was completely blown away. She KNOWS her stuff, and makes the whole shopping experience painless and super efficient. I did the "curated canvas" service which included a closet clean out session, and a shopping trip. The shopping trip was my favorite part. I met Megan in the city, and she had pulled at least 60+ items for me to try on. All I had to do was show up, and start trying stuff on. She helped me see how to wear the newest styles, and what worked best with my shape, and height. She gave me specific tips that I can remember and use going forward.
