It's considered a combination shopping, dining and entertainment destination and one of the newer ones in Delray. It's got a plethora of stores and about 9 restaurants as well as places for yogurt, chocolates, and candies. Some of the restaurants like Burt's have been there since it opened. And some (like Terra) are newer. A few favorites have closed, but there's always something to see while strolling the easily walkable center. At the northern end, is the movie theater and entertainment center with bowling and arcade games, etc. We had stopped for dinner with friends at Batch and then enjoyed strolling and exploring. It was a lovely comfortable night to be out and about. And a lot of other folks agreed.

Along with the restaurants and businesses Mainstreet will also include the 130 unit senior assisted living facility, Anthology. I tried out the Sprouts which has a nice prepared food section. Yolk is a solid breakfast and lunch option. The rest of the businesses will be useful to the residents of Anthology when they open.

In terms of restaurants, you can find Chili's, Keke's Breakfast Cafe and Miller's Ale House. Lots of parking.

There is also a Panera Bread, Famous Footwear, and AT&T. I came to the plaza to try 2 Chef's Souparee which was excellent. The only downside to my visit was there was not enough parking. I had to circle around for 15 minutes to find a space even though I was willing to walk far. While I was driving around I found some other places I want to check out for dining. This plaza has a good mix of places to eat nd the kind of stores I like to shop at. I even saw a violin musician n in the parking lot, not a sight you see every day. If only the parking situation was better.

Visited the plaza today at the Ripe eatery as the furthest end cap for a hot cup of espresso. Next, went to Joseph's Classic Market for a slice of cheese pizza. The Damn Good Sweets is out of business. Some really catchy business names like Olive U and FurLife Vets.

The Dunkin' and the car wash block some of the businesses from Atlantic Ave. Good variety of restaurants and shops but had to drive around a bit to see everything. Also a complimentary valet on the west side for a restaurant called Warren American Whiskey Kitchen taking up an area of the parking spaces. Next time here I will try the Bagels With Deli.

I have gotten items at the Dillards Outlet Store entering directly from the back of the lot. Victoria's Secret, a Hallmark store, bridal shop, comfort, shoes, and some Jewelers are here. The typical shops and anchor stores still remain. The kids play place is still there, and the carousel I rode on as a child. It's no longer operating, but it was nice to see tucked away in the back of the mall in a corner that seems untouched by time. The shops that were open were warm and inviting.
