Okay, I'll admit that Town Center at Boca Raton is not as bad as I first thought it was. I may not be coming here blowing my money, but I have been visiting a couple of stores a bit more frequently and there are a few more that have my interest to check out. There are new stores and restaurants opening soon at Town Center at Boca Raton with new stores including Christian Louboutin already open for business. Here's to many more visits.

Us gals made our way to MAC and the guys went to Starbucks to get all our drinks. Mizner kind of checks the boxes for a variety of interests. It's a great place to walk around, people watch, eat, drink, get coffee, see a movie, bowl and do some shopping. They really do have it all. The plaza is beautiful, it kind of reminds me of a European boulevard, with all kinds of landscaping, fountains and eye catching decorations along the way. They even put in a gigantic garden chess set, which believe it or not, gets a lot of use. I also have to mention Mizner Park Amphitheater at the end of the street, which hosts a variety of events throughout the year, some free and some tickered big name acts. And when they have something going on they usually have a ton of food trucks and sometimes a community market as well. In 2025 they actually had Weezer play there which was totally awesome and a great time. Overall this is not just a great spot, it's a fantastic Community asset. Absolutely love it, five stars.

There is a variety of parking options at Mizner Park. Free parking is available at garages A-D, follow the signs. Metered parking is available along the streets and in front of businesses, with a 4-hour maximum limit. Metered rates are $2 per hour. Valet parking is available in specific locations (beside the main fountain, IPIC theater, and Eddie V's) for a fee. I found it interesting to walk throughout the park. In my opinion, it has a slight similarity to Dania Pointe, but with more of a ritzy vibe. I'm looking forward to more visits.

Garden Shops is anchored by a Publix supermarket. Other businesses include The UPS Store, Massage Envy, Publix Super Market, Jersey Mike's Subs, West Boca Medical Center, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Menchies' Yogurt, Bank of America, Starbucks, and Fifth Third Bank. One of my favorite businesses is the new Skillets serving breakfast and lunch. There is a good mix of shopping, dining, and services. The property was built in 1985 but it was completely remodeled in 2010 when it was enhanced with a large Publix and a bougainvillea pergola with benches. A set of pillars signals your arrival into the plaza. It looks to be of the type of well manicured shopping centers you would expect to find in Boca Raton.

University Commons was built in 2001 on 22.4 acres leased from FAU. The plaza is anchored by a very nice Whole Foods which is one of the most visited in the whole country. There is also Nordstrom Rack, Etiquette Boutique, T-Mobile, Bed Bath and Beyond, Shake Shack, J. Alexander's, and P.F. Chang's. I have been to this plaza many times throughout the years whether it was taking my daughter when she was a toddler to mommy and me play date at Barnes and Nobles, grocery shopping at Whole Foods, enjoying a quick meal at Shake Shack, or grabbing smoothies from Jamba Juice. The plaza has a large number of places to eat and it is the first place I think to go for a dinner before a Cinemark Plaza. It is hard to find a book store these days so it's especially nice that they still have the two story Barnes and Nobles where you can grab the latest best seller and a cup of coffee from the in house Starbucks. The plaza still looks as nice as the day it was built. The parking is a little wonky but there is plenty of it. Through the past 2O years University Commons as been a favorite spot to dine and shop in Boca.

The Cove Shopping Center is a local Deerfield Beach landmark. Constructed in 1959 on Hillsboro…read moreBlvd, east of Federal Highway, it is withing walking distance of the beach. The Cove has some exciting new developments. Three new food and drink projects recently opened. These include the 46 year old Cove Restaurant and Tiki Bar which got a 6.5 million dollar makeover. Since 1977, the intracoastal waterfront Cove Restaurant has been a favorite of the Deerfield Beach community. The renovation project was spearheaded by developer Lou Moshakos who runs Oceanic and Lucky Fish Pompano. Mosakos has many fond memories of knocking back drinks with his wife after working at the Seafood Shanty. When the restaurant came up for sale he decided to purchase and restore it. Changes to the restaurant include a new chef and Key West style makeover of the tiki bar. On the opposite end of the plaza is the new 2.15 million dollar Cove Brewery with a 8,500 square foot brewhouse and taproom. The brewery anchors a 24,000 square foot warehouse that houses four new businesses including the recently opened Won-Tom's restaurant. I am exited to check out the changes to the plaza but I also enjoy dining at The Sticky Bun for breakfast , Modern Rose for light bites and coffee, and Patricia's of New York for dinner. Other businesses include jewelry stores, laundry, bridal stores, legal, banking, medical, and beauty services, clothing stores, pubs, and many other restaurants. If there is one drawback to The Cove it is that parking can be hard to come by. Complicating matters is the fact that people park here and walk over to the beach. If there is a festival going on you can forget about finding a space. Lou Moshakos has purchased roughly 2 acres of land next to The Cove and is considering building a parking garage to alleviate the parking headache. So many locals and tourists have fond memories of going to The Cove through the years . The new businesses and next phase of development will bring even more good times.

Located near the intracoastal waterway, this strip center has it all: restaurants, gift shops, several offices, bridal stores, boutiques and even a catering venue called Royal Fiesta. Sometimes the plaza has events like farmers markets, car shows etc. This is a fun shopping center because not only is it walking distance to the beach but it has a full marina and a path leading to Sullivan Park. It's so much fun people watching because you get to see people walking their dogs, riding their bikes, or just walking around enjoying the many stores and restaurants. The largest and most well known restaurant is Two George's; great for relaxing with an adult beverage on the water. There's also a family owned Italian restaurant called Antonio's, Sticky Bun for breakfast & lunch, Modern Rose Teahouse, Kava Lounge, French & Mexican restaurants, and American Rock Bar & Grill. There is something for everyone, so I can assure you that you won't go hungry. Many of the restaurants are dog friendly which I think is awesome especially since I plan on adopting another fur baby soon. Saving the best for last; my favorite restaurant in the plaza is Casa Maya. They serve the most delicious Mexican food and there is a small bar if you want to pop in for a margarita. It gets pretty loud but the food is worth it. The plaza is home to two bridal stores (Bellissima & Casa De Bridesmaids), a high end dress shop (Sondro), law offices, a tattoo shop, several stores as well as nail & massage places. The Cove shopping center is easy to find. Head east on Hillsboro & it's right before the bridge on the south side of the road. Lots of parking too. :-)

The newly renovated property is anchored by Sprouts and provides excellent exposure to Federal Highway. Other notable businesses here are a Dollar Tree store, Smoothie King, T-Mobile store, F45 training center, Ichiban Asian buffet, dentist offices, eye care offices and more. The look of the shopping center and the stores is very modern and sleek. Clean angles and clean lines throughout. Parking is a bit tight since it's such a well visited shopping center.

It's considered a combination shopping, dining and entertainment destination and one of the newer ones in Delray. It's got a plethora of stores and about 9 restaurants as well as places for yogurt, chocolates, and candies. Some of the restaurants like Burt's have been there since it opened. And some (like Terra) are newer. A few favorites have closed, but there's always something to see while strolling the easily walkable center. At the northern end, is the movie theater and entertainment center with bowling and arcade games, etc. We had stopped for dinner with friends at Batch and then enjoyed strolling and exploring. It was a lovely comfortable night to be out and about. And a lot of other folks agreed.

Did some shopping today at TJ Maxx and Saks Off 5th where we purchased some shirts - and got some…read moregood deals. Its Boca so there were tons of handicap parking spaces. I appreciated the easy to read shopping center directory in front of TJ Maxx. Its a modern looking plaza with an Outback and Chase Bank as outparcels. The main entry is from Glades Road. Wanted so badly to try the Long Island Bagel Cafe but ny daughter said it was almost dinner time and its kinda a brunch type eatery.
