Nice, quiet RV park with some long term renters and some short term. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Friendly staff and other campers all said hello whenever you were outside. We had a 50 amp hookup with sewer, water, wifi and cable. They give Good Sam and military discount. It was about a mile to walk to the downtown corridor. read more

Stayed here a couple days and my first impression on being greeted by the young lady in the office was RUDE. I was very disappointed because it's such a bummer to be welcomed in a down mood. The place is very clean and well kept. The bathrooms are very clean and I can tell the place has pride of ownership. Like most rv parks the spots are tight so that was no surprise. The location of the park is in a industrial type business area but that is just fine. Nights are quiet and people are respectful. Internet is non existent regardless of what the unwelcoming person tells you. The internet here will frustrate you so bring your own. I loved this park! We were travelling through and were road weary from toting a Uhaul across country. We just wanted a spot to rest for the night and plan our next couple travel locations. We found this spot, conveniently placed just enough off of the main drag, but not so close that you heard any noise. It had a marvelous view of the mountains behind and the Boulder City rock face. The first night we stayed in a full blown RV site, which was total overkill for our regular van. We have a full camper set up, but are stealth and have it set up in an old van. Placed between two 40' motor coaches sort of daunted us, but the neighbors couldn't have been nicer. The price was fair for the accommodations for sure, with something like six different bathhouses with plenty of stalls and showers, I never once saw another soul in them. They also provide two different dog parks, complete with water faucets to keep your pup hydrated, which my little dude loved. After so long in the car, the modest sized parks were perfect for him. The pool, oh the pool! It's shallow, so don't bring your scuba gear, but it's perfect for floating around and relieving the stress from the day. I took full advantage of that AND the hot tub, both ADA compliant. Excellent pool furniture too, some of these rv parks have garbage for lounge chairs, this one was perfect. They also provide a HUGE laundry room with comfy chairs to sit in while you wait. The rec room offers all sorts of respite from your RV, and just outside of that there is a propane grill for all to use. After the first night, we opted for a tent site, not feeling right using a whole big spot for our little van. The price is half, you don't get electricity or water, however, you get full run of everything else in the park. The owner even went out of his way to let us know that if there was any single little thing we might need, he'd do what he could. Amazing service, not really something you'd get a KOA or something. I wanted to stay here for good, but we're still scoping out the area. I'm hoping to settle there, it's a cool city with an excellent vibe. Check it out, you'll be glad I sent you :) read more

I recently moved from Las Vegas to Utah and had a difficult situation but they accommodated me and as they said while checking in "we are like family here." They absolutely were! Tosha worked with me with all of my obstacles and treated me just like family. I had to get my cars to Utah which was a problem. But one of my neighbors there Larry and an employee that took time on his day off (you know who you are) helped me by driving all the way to eastern Utah to pick me up and bring me back! Crazy! Tosha's brother also set aside his time although he had a prior engagement to get me the keys I'd left in the office upon my return. Thank you all and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I stayed at Oasis before canyon trails and I will not be going there or anywhere in that area again except Canyon Trails. Was there for about a week and half but miss it very much. My first RV experience was at Canyon Trails. As I was hooking up power and water, I was crouched down opening a cargo door, it pushed me backwards and lost my balance landing on the 2 foot water spigot. Now there's a 15 foot geyser straight up. I panicked running to the office. The office was closed, being after regular business hours. One of the park attendants told my wife he had already called the office. I believe two of the owners were on it like you know what. They were amazing!!!! They had the water turned off and the spigot replaced, water back on in 10 minutes! Great group of people running that place. Highly recommend!!! read more

My first time RV camping. They called us to let us know that we were all set up and ready. They even held onto some items that could not go onto the Hoover Dam property on a Sunday after hours. The park was clean, the bathrooms were clean, the showers could have use some more pressure though. read more

It's very clean and quiet but lacks atmosphere and a sense of enjoyment. Was is $1 and dryer $1.50 but even though I didn't have a big load I had to plug in another $1.50 for the dryer. Spaces are ok. Gravel. No store here. They don't let you in the office. Really close to Albertsons and small surrounding shops and about 5 mins max to the older section of Boulder City that has tons of antique vendors (overpriced, but great selection) and some restaurants. We went to Guy Fieris recommendation Coffee Cup for lunch. It was ok. read more

This place and the employees are terrible! Do not go to this hole. First, it's in an industrial park and there is nothing! Then, the employees are so RUDE. One employee yelled and screamed at me, accused me of almost hitting her and not following their 5 Mph speed limit. I had not even gotten in the park and common sense tells you to go slow. If they want you to putt at 5mph, they should put up the speed limit and not the word "slow" she was awful and went on and on yelling at me in front of my husband and 3 year old who she woke up. In front of him said, "you could have hurt or killed a kid" I just couldn't believe it and read more

Reasonable rates that include electric........no electric meters. Close to Vegas/Lake Mead/ Hoover dam. Boulder city is a nice quite city. Basic cable. Spaces are long but could be a bit wider, Still plenty of room for big rigs. Very pet friendly. Owners are very good people. No pool. Not a whole lot of shade trees. *review is for shower only* I was in the middle of a 4 day 3 night hiking adventure. In my research I found that a campground at Lake Mead had showers. I pulled in there earlier in the day to inquire about their showers and was turned away because I wasn't a guest. Oh well, maybe I'll jump in the lake. Fast forward a few hours and I'm eating dinner in town and I did a quick search for showers and this place pops up. So I rolled on over and I asked the young man at the front desk if they offered showers for hikers. Yes they do. I love hiker friendly locations. Price was fair and I was happy to pay it. I was given a quick tour of the bathroom and grabbed my stuff and off I went. Shower was roomy, had great water pressure, and hot water. I left rejuvenated and ready to tackle a couple more days. read more

Zip lining over Boot Leg Canyon, cute historic Old Boulder City to check out, pedal cars on rails with a train ride back up the hill and more. We enjoyed our stay at Canyon Trail. Park was quiet with respectful neighbors. We felt safe while we stayed there. The grounds were well maintained. The staff were also very polite and helpful. If you don't want to stay in Vegas, and want a little bit of low key vibe, this is the place for you. This place is the BEST! We have been RV'ing for 6 yrs....we stayed here for 3 weeks last winter....and without a doubt, this is my favorite of them all! We go back as often as we can now. The family that runs this place is awesome......they are friendly and so helpful....they do their best to honor all requests. They take pride in their park and it shows. Nice clean, wide spaces......Easy access in and out. They offer a gated pool, huge laundry facility, locked bathrooms that are clean, Social events, plenty of local info provided upon check in and basic cable. As far as Internet, when we did use it, I have my own Hotspot....so not an issue and I can't recall if they have it or not. I would highly recommend staying here and then driving into Vegas....the RV parks in Vegas are horrid. Minutes from shopping in Henderson......and it takes about 25 minutes to get to the strip. PLUS, You are 90 minutes from Bullhead City AZ and Colorado River fun. read more

This RV park is run very well and is in a great location. The RV park is very reasonably priced. The hookups and sites are level and clean. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and the site is very quiet. The staff is constantly monitoring the site which makes you feel very secure. The only thing I would improve is providing additional garbage/recycling dumps closer to the RV sites. read more

Great place to spend a couple of nights. Clean, quiet-the staff obviously cares about the place. Very close to the start of the bike trail to Hoover Dam which is a don't miss ride. After the 20 mile ride to the Dam, the hot tub was fabulous! Definitely will be back! read more

Recently, while staying here,( for a two night stay), I was stricken with a serious illness, was hospitalized and underwent a lengthy recovery. We informed the staff of our predicament, and were told we could stay for as long as we needed to. (We could only plan week-by-week, and were given weekly rates, which are very reasonable.) We feel forever in debt to the Wells family for being such gracious hosts ! The staff here does a fantastic job. If you are courteous, respectful and play by the rules, you will be treated fairly. This park has all the amenities needed for a pleasant experience. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. There's a small pool and a Jacuzzi, as well as a laundry room and dog exercise area. It's a short walk into town, and hiking/biking trails are within walking distance. If you plan to be in the Las Vegas area, we highly recommend staying at The Camp Trail RV Park ! read more

we were on the road heading south on hwy 93 almost into las vegas and were looking for an rv park to pull into for the night. @ 1645 10/22/2020 had talked to the office manager @ canyon trails rv park to check availability and they said they had a site for us. we explained that we had a 36ft rv towing a car trailer (22ft) with a car on deck. we were looking for a pull thru site that could accommodate our lengthy setup. she said that their site was 50ft in length. we figured that the extra 8ft would just hang out. we paid over the phone and she explained that she would leave our copy and a park map hanging on their office window for our arrival. we arrive and find our cc slip and an asigned site of #87. we proceed to the site and study how will fit in a very congested site with neighboring sites spilling over into the pathway of our asigned site. we tried to assess a strategy to park in the site but ever option had a possibilty of damage to our rv and the intrusive neighboring sites. we decided that we could not safely occupy the site. we left the park and headed farther south and parked for the night at the hoover dam hotel parking lot. The very next morning we called to tell the canyon trail rv park that we could not enter the site asigned and if they could credit back our visa for the amount charged of which we could not access safely. the same office manager states that she could not refund the amount paid and that we should have just unhooked our car trailer in the site and parked our rv next to our trailer. i explained to her that the neighboring sites were in the way to safely execute this process so we had no choicde but to leave. this was approx 7:30 pm at the rv park and there was no one to talk to at the park to remedy the situation. te office manager stated that their policy for refunds would only be allowed if we asked for it 48hrs in advance of our reservation. really!, we said, we just did this right before we were to show up and we could not get into their asigned site without possible damage to our equipment or neighboring sites occupants. the office manager was very stand offish and blaming us for not cramming ourselves into the crowded site that she had asigned. bottomline is, is that we could not fit without damage and we did not use the facility. we want our money returned. the office manager makes an comment "good luck with trying to get your money back, you will not" we were taken back. read more
