We bring our doggie here regularly 2 days a week and it's true a tired dog is a happy dog. He loves going here and they are so good to him. It's a great place because it's leash free play during the day and they take a break for lunch from 12-2 but the rest of the time it's like he's at the dogpark all day and he's super happy when he comes home. It's does become a little expensive but it's better then having a puppy digging in the yard when we are at work.

The puppy sleeps after a tiring day of play!

Felicia gives this place 4 enthusiastic paws up! Day camp tires her out and gives her confidence and social skills. And I am 100 percent at ease that she is well-cared for the times when she has spent the night. Michelle plans fun social gatherings like outdoor movie nights that provides a unique training situation and makes my Felicia have to behave. Well, she tries to behave. We still need to take basic obedience, but that's for another day...

"Boot camp" options seemed extreme, so I called Bark Busters (BB), seeking in-home private lessons. Justin responded the same day I left a message, and we talked about my concerns with our new rescue. I decided to try the BB program, which ended up being the BEST DECISION for my pup and for me! Justin set up our first session with trainer/coach James. James spent much of the 1st session going through the goals, objectives and concepts of training, including a timeline based on reasonable expectations of my dog. James spent a lot of time explaining how to "read" my dog's behavior, and how to properly respond. He explained the concepts behind each step, which helped me to understand not just what to do, but why (thus enabling me to understand how to deploy the training to different situations). James also set up scenarios to practice, going through each step so I could gain confidence in what my role is while helping my dog settle. It really is about training the owner how to work with the dog. James provided summaries of each session, plus videos demonstrating how I can use different responses/techniques to reshape how my dog reacts to stressful situations. I saw significant progress very early in the training, and was surprised at how quickly we were able to help my dog understand his role (and to feel safe) in our home. The best part is that if I need more help, I just have to reach out to James/BB and schedule more sessions - this is included in the initial program. Given that it takes a rescue dog a while to COMPLETELY settle in, new issues could arise as time passes, and if so, all I have to do is call to set it up. In summary, Bark Busters is a GREAT dog training program, and James is a FANTASTIC BB trainer/coach! Definitely recommend BB to owners that want help with their dogs!

I'll be totally honest: as a first-time dog owner to an Australian Shepherd, I was feeling a little underwater. I knew I needed help, but I was so nervous that professional training would be an investment I couldn't justify. That all changed the second I got on a consultation call with James from WhosWalkingWho.com James is one of those rare people who is just... real. He's straightforward and incredibly genuine. Right away, I could tell he wasn't just trying to "sell" me a package or take my money--he actually cared about my situation. He has this amazing way of explaining things that just clicks. He doesn't gatekeep his knowledge; he truly wants to hand you all the tools and resources you need so that both you and your pup can be the best versions of yourselves. We went with the board + train option and are so glad we did! We received multiple updates a day with pictures, videos, and progress updates letting us know what training and commands were being worked on that day. We also had some diarrhea issues with our pup recently and Lauren was nice enough to try different foods with our girl to see what worked with her stomach and what didnt (something we were too scared to do lol), and once we were back home, Lauren came and dropped our pup off at our house so she could do an in-home training session with us to go over all of the training she got, which was such an awesome bonus. We've kept going with her training and are happy to report that shes doing SO well and learned so many valuable things during her stay, and our girl loved Lauren so much. We could tell our pup was very well taken care of which is very important to us! I would highly recommend this company for any and all training or boarding needs. Thanks again, Lauren!!

They said that they did it because I asked the size of the mother and discussed the potential size of the puppy. I just think that's kind of weird. I thought you were supposed to ask a lot of questions when you adopted a dog we are semi retired and home all the time we have a large property in El Cajon with large fenced in area. I video taped my entire property for them to view. In addition, we also own another property in Arizona. We are in a very good place to have a pet we've adopted many times from shelters sometimes across the country! I've even paid for dogs to be sent to me from rural shelters in Mississippi to save their lives . I have never gone through the mental anguish as I have gone through dealing with this rescue. The emotional drama of going back-and-forth with them over the last couple weeks has absolutely worn me down. My heart is broken and I am crying. It is very emotional... certainly, they must realize that people to get very attached when they are about to adopt a puppy. These folks that I had to deal with had no compassion or humanity as to the pain that I am feeling. The foster mom Lesley was amazing, compassionate and kind. I wish I could've just out directly with her. I was told that they would notify me if anything changed that there were no applications for the dog that I wanted. I asked for the ZELLE to pay them. They told me not to rush that there were no other applications and that they would let me know if anything changed. Well, they did not; they simply adopted the dog out to what was supposed to be a temporary foster. My heart is absolutely broken. I am crushed to the core. Please be careful dealing with this rescue group. I understand that they are all just volunteers, but certainly they must understand that people become attached . when I expressed how upset I was and that I couldn't understand how this happened. They basically told me to put my adoption process on hold which I think means they won't allow me to adopt from them. I don't know. I guess there's other puppies that are available from that same litter. I was not aware. I thought they were all adopted, but I don't think that they will allow them to be adopted to me . Essentially they would rather have the dogs never find a home rather than to be adopted to someone who really wants the dog. Pretty absolutely amazing if you ask me. They also were very against me fostering to adopt, however, allowed someone else to foster her and after five or six days, they apparently decided to adopt her. They had initially told me that the foster did not intend to adopt her and that I could pick her up when I got back from Arizona. Today, I leave to go home to San Diego and I am so sad because I won't be able to pick up my girl... I hope the person that has her gives her a good and can give her an amazing life . I will not have that opportunity.
